A Thousand Flowers
Chaptre 82. What's What's The Truth?

BEEPING! BEEPING!

Izzah quickly opened his phone when a message came in.

Dimas The Intimate Lumberman

+82XXXXXXXXXX

You busy? Otherwise, I'll wait in the cafeteria

There's something important I want to talk about

“Huh? Important thing?” inner Izzah was curious. For a moment he stared straight ahead, then as fast as lightning typed 'OK' on his phone.

Standing at the entrance, Izzah observed the canteen room. Still quiet. There was only one or two employees coming in. Only buy drinks or small meals for their seniors or superiors.

Dimas waved his hand as soon as he saw Izzah and pulled out the chair when the girl had reached his desk.

“I don't have much time, Mas,” said Izzah to the point.

Dimas smiled wryly. “This girl has not changed. The cake first. Make a squeaky heart only,” grumbled Dimas in the heart.

“Take it easy! I know it too. Look ... A while ago, the fourth gate had reappeared all of a sudden. Do you know?”

Seeing no surprise on Izzah's face, Dimas concluded Izzah had also noticed. But what he did not understand, why did the girl just shut up and not try to contact him?

Izzah didn't answer Dimas's question. He was stunned to imagine the moment he saw a dazzling beam of light emanating from a large tree in Shin Seo Hyun's garden.

“So, the tree is really the fourth gate of the Land of a Thousand Flowers?” inner Izzah, half in disbelief at once happy. All of those feelings were clearly reflected in the look on his face, making Dimas even more confident in his conclusion.

“Ah! Looks like you really know. Could it be that you have also found the tree that became his connecting gate?” dimas asked, seeing that Izzah was silent.

“Atau .. lest you also know who the key holder is,” he continued, staring Izzah full of probes.

“Entahlah. I'm not sure, but I will soon find out the truth,” said Izzah after realizing from the shortness of his mind.

He did not want to rashly tell Dimas before he himself was completely sure of what he had seen. After all, it's private land. It cannot be entered without the permission of the owner. Key holder? He hadn't even thought of getting there. Is it Shin Seo Hyun?

“I must investigate,” Inner Izzah, steady nodding.

“Good. If there is nothing more you want to talk about, I say goodbye,” said Izzah while standing and about to pass.

“Wait, Izzah!” prevent Dimas.

Izzah sat down. Not talk. Only his eyes looked at Dimas demanding an explanation. Dimas sighed.

“You know what it all means?”

Izzah was silent.

“The sooner we find the key, the sooner the people are free,” continued Dimas, giving understanding to Izzah.

Izzah smiled faintly. He understood very well the timelessness and hope of Dimas. He feels the same. Only, he did not want to step in a hurry.

“Iya .. I understand, Mas, but .. I still need time to investigate.”

“How long? I'm afraid the gate is disappearing again,” Dimas said. Worry was clearly reflected in the look in his eyes.

“I can't be sure. What is clear, just like you, I will also try my best,” said Izzah flat.

“What are you going to do all you can?" shin Seo Hyun asked, suddenly approaching them with her left hand in her pants pocket.

Dimas and Izzah turned their heads in shock, then simultaneously stood clumsy. Making Shin Seo Hyun throw a suspicious look.

“Sorry, Sir. I will be back now,” Izzah said quickly, avoiding Shin Seo Hyun's sharp gaze.

“Excuse me, Mas Dimas,” said goodbye to Dimas, then hurriedly left the canteen.

Shin Seo Hyun and Dimas both snorted and faced each other in silence, as if they wanted to eliminate each other.

“Does the rules in your office give employees the freedom to meet leadership relations during working hours?” shin Seo Hyun asked sarcastically as she glanced at the clock hanging on the wall.

“I just want to say hello to Izzah as a friend, not as a relationship leader. Is that wrong?” sahut Dimas, asked back in a cold tone. Their pair of eyes were equally shiny.

“Of course not if you know the time,” reply Shin Seo Hyun, no less cold.

“Please enjoy the meal!” he continued, glancing at the food and drink on the table that had not been touched Dimas.

“Thank you. You may go or you wish to accompany me for a drink, Mr Shin?” tawar Dimas.

“I'll go. Have a nice day,” reply Shin Seo Hyun flat as he leaves.

As soon as he arrived at his study, Shin Seo Hyun sat in thought while playing with his chin with the tip of his left index finger. While his right fingertips occasionally tapped on the table glass.

“What are they talking about? It looked very serious,” muttered Shin Seo Hyun, recalling the expressions of Izzah and Dimas in the canteen earlier.

“Lock ... What key?”

Shin Seo Hyun continued to dialogue with herself about the piece of Dimas' question that had been caught by her hearing as it passed through their table before entering the canteen.

“Aaaargh .…”

Shin Seo Hyun shouted in annoyance at not finding the answer to her puzzle.

“That girl is indeed full of mystery. There is always something unexpected,” the nagging more curious.

Remembering Dimas and Izzah sharing the same secret, Shin Seo Hyun's chest suddenly felt tight. Face hardened. Hands clenched. Grasping the pen tightly on the table until the pen is broken.

Finished bathing and getting dressed, Shin Seo Hyun rushed to the library room. He knew his wife always spent her afternoon there. Pouring all the ideas in his head through the story he wrote. Shin Seo Hyun really enjoyed each change in his wife's expression according to the emotions of the characters in the story.

Imagining that, Shin Seo Hyun smiled to herself and stepped wide.

“Hah? Where is he?” shin Seo Hyun asked in a daze when she found the desk Izzah used to work at was empty.

Suddenly a nosy thought flashed through his head. The door closed secretly. While on his tiptoes, he skidded. Approaching the towering bookshelves thinking his wife must be busy looking for a suitable reference for the story material.

It's every hallway. However, how disappointed Shin Seo Hyun was when he arrived at the end of the hall. He still could not find his wife there.

“Hah! There's not one either. Tumben!” hiss Shin Seo Hyun, began to worry.

Seeing the window curtain blur, Shin Seo Hyun was sure Izzah had been to that room before. He quickly walked to the window.

Standing behind the table, Shin Seo Hyun could clearly see the entire back garden area. With his eagle eyes, he examined every corner of the garden. Look for the figure of Izzah among the blooming flowers.

Suddenly his eyes narrowed when he found his wife standing dumbstruck staring at the big tree on the edge of the park. His long veil fluttered in the twilight breeze.

“Hem ... he was always interested in that big tree. Weird!” hiss Shin Seo Hyun.

Izzah approached the tree and felt its trunk as if looking for something, then walked around it. Making Shin Seo Hyun's curiosity even more mountainous.

“It looks like there really is something with the tree,” he whispered again as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. His eyes kept watching Izzah because he wanted to know what his wife was going to do.

“Hah!”

Shin Seo Hyun's two hands spontaneously fell to her side as she gasped at what she was witnessing.

Feeling anxious, a second later Shin Seo Hyun rushed to open the door beside Izzah's desk. He ran like a madman down the stairs to the back garden.

Arriving under the big tree, Shin Seo Hyun shouted hysterically calling out his wife's name.

“Izzzaaah ...”

Shin Seo Hyun fell to her knees, teary-eyed. His sobs continued to be heard until the sun sank in the Western horizon.
