Actually, I'm His Wife

Actually, I'm His Wife
Chapter 18 Co-workers.

Handi's steps looked lethargic. She still felt annoyed at her failure to provide breakfast for Ayana.

"Sir Handi!" Greet his Assistant when he sees the arrival of Handi.

"Yes. What's important?" Ask Handi in a lethargic voice.

"Sir Farraz is waiting in your room, sir." Evidently.

Hearing that made the look of that lethargic face turn rowdy. He hurried into his room to meet Farraz.

"Sir Farraz, sorry to make Mr. Farraz wait so long." Sweepings.

Handi sat on the sofa facing Farraz.

"How's the location?" Ask about the project.

"Very strategic and also very beautiful. And very close to the scavenger slums." Evidently.

"Well, does that development not disturb their land?" Ask Farraz worried.

"Of course not. Mr. Farraz need not worry. The plan, the client will also open an organic and non-organic garbage shelter near the settlement. So that the garbage they quote is not scattered carelessly. All in all, can prosper the scavenger as well. He promised he'd pay the price of another dumpster." Said Handi explaining.

"Thank God. It should be like that. When we build a business, we must also consider the circumstances of the people below. Don't just act at will and bully those less fortunate." His words were relieved.

This is one of the reasons Handi stayed at this company. Although Farraz is notoriously grumpy and cold, he actually has a just and civilized human spirit. What a very generous person. Though sometimes annoying.

"I'll order a drink first…"

"No need. I'm not long." Speak quickly.

It was intentional to stop Handi from asking her assistant to make her a drink.

"I want to ask for help from Mr. Handi." Reciprocity.

Handi sat back down and looked seriously at Farraz.

"What kind of help, I guess?" Ask Handi curious.

"You know about my project in Singapore?"

"Know, sir. Is there a problem?" Guess origin.

"No. There's no problem whatsoever." Rigorously.

"Then?" Sandy was getting curious.

"The project will start early next week. Meanwhile, I have to attend the company's annual regular events. So, I can't go to Singapore to take care of that project." Evidently.

"So, masud pak Farraz.." Staring seriously at Farraz.

"You have to go to Singapore to replace me. Only fifteen days there. All management is the responsibility of the company. You just stay to come there. Meet clients and discuss what they want in this project." His speech.

Holden was silent for a moment. He felt it was not appropriate to replace Farraz going to Singapore to take care of the big project. Because, seven years working in this company, Handi only takes care of domestic projects. Never worked on a project abroad.

"Wow, I don't have enough experience for that yet, Mr. Farraz. It would be better, just look for someone else. Not me." Resist.

"But, the only one I trust to take care of this project, is you Handi."

He seems to think hard. They accept and reject the offer.

"Well I want to. But, send one other friend to come with me, sir." Filing requirements.

"certain. I've been thinking about that." Answer with a smile.

"Who's my friend, sir?" Curious.

Farraz sighed, then he smiled. "Yunita Ayana. He will accompany you to Singapore to work on this project."

Farraz hasn't said anything to Ayana. And not necessarily also Ayana agreed with the idea of sending them both to Singapore.

"Wanna? I'm going to Singapore with Ayana?" Said Handi almost shouting in excitement.

Her happy smile was even hard to hide from Farraz.

Hearing the statement, made Handi try to return the expression of her face that was clearly smiling happily.

"It seems you have a special relationship!" Farraz began to guess.

"Nothing sir. Just a co-worker." His kill.

They are just partners. I really like Ayana. But, Ayana doesn't necessarily like it either. So, in conclusion, their current relationship is only limited to coworkers.

"Not be afraid or ashamed to acknowledge your relationship. Because there is no rule that prohibits personal relationships between employees. Everything is free." Explain.

"Actually, only I have special feelings for Ayana." Heden at the end.

"Then, what about Ayana?" Search again.

"It seems like he only thinks of me as a co-worker." Sad talk.

"Did Ayana really attract the attention of Mr. Handi?" Curious.

"It's not just me who's interested in Ayana, sir. Her beauty as well as her kindness made many employees here glance at her. He became the employee's talk. They consider Ayana as their goddess of good luck." Obviously Handi.

What Sandy said was true. Ayana is admired by many employees in the company. It's just that, because Ayana's position is far above and right next to the boss, making them afraid to just say hello to Ayana.

"Is that how interesting Ayana you think it is?" His speech was cynical, complete with his facial expression that paid no heed to the admiration of Handi and her employees towards an elderly Ayana and the widow.

"Ayana is very simple and kind. It made everyone around him feel comfortable." Said Handi.

He knows Farraz doesn't like Ayana very much, because the only one he likes from Ayana, is her performance that never disappoints him.

"Continue the task of Mr. Handi back. I'll discuss about my request just now with Ayana." Said goodbye.

Sandy nodded in agreement. Then he let Farraz out of his room.

As soon as Farraz arrived in front of the elevator, the elevator doors opened. Apparently, there was Princess and Irma who had just descended from the twelfth floor. They were told Farraz was on the eleventh floor.

"Mama!" It sounds a bit surprised.

Irma just smiled knotfully, she felt guilty for bringing the Princess with her.

"Farraz. I miss you." The princess hugged Farraz.

Irma scowled not liking to see Princess hugging Farraz. But, how else, he must keep a secret that Farraz is married.

"Princess lepaasss.. It's in the office." Escape from the Princess' embrace.

"I know it's an office. But I miss you, Raz. Why the hell are you always avoiding me." Her babble was angry.

"I've told you before, right? I have a lover." Farras said.

"I don't care. Because, in the end you have to marry me. If you don't want anything bad to happen to Faress Crupt." Threatened him.

Hearing the threat made Farraz's forehead wrinkle, his eyes looking dejectedly at the Princess.

"You better get out of here, before I'm really mad." Farraz Bully.

"What's? You gonna hit me? Hit, hit, let's hit?" He put his face to Farraz.

Irma sniffled cynically at the behavior of the Princess. He just found out that Princess turned out to be so possessive in order to get Farraz.

"Ma, get him out of here." Pulling the wrists of the Princess and her mother together.

Farraz took them to the elevator and pressed a button to get to the ground floor.

"Let go, sick!" He shouted, asking Faraz to take off his wrist.

"Raz, loose. Poor Princess, her hands hurt." Irma said a little pleading with Farraz.

Soon Farraz threw the Princess' hand, so she whined spoiled at Irma. She complained and showed her wrists flushed red because Farraz's hand was too strong.

"Ambassy aunt yes. Well, the Princess's dad is in pain." Irma blew on the Princess' wrist gently.

And Farraz looked resentfully at the two women. One forced her to marry him, and the other ruined her engagement plan with her lover.
