After the First Night

After the First Night
Chapter 63

Arzan can't wait for Dita to wake up. The man stood next to his wife with a reddened face. Both of his hands clenched firmly, his chest rising up and down resisting the searing emotions.

"Arzan, we'd better wait for Dita to wake up. Sit down, son. Aren't you tired of standing here?" Mama Arzan persuaded the man to sit down, but the man flinched. Not moving a little from where he stood.

"Arzan, let's sit down. Later after Dita wakes up, we ask for an explanation." said Mama Dita carefully. He was afraid that his daughter-in-law would go berserk because from then on the man was only silent a thousand languages. His gaze did not shift from the woman lying unconscious on the hospital bed.

As the two run out of sense to persuade Arzan, Dita's stained fingers move. Soon the young woman's eyes opened. This made Arzan even more impatient.

"Relse ... Where am I?" ask the woman, opening her eyes. It adjusts the incoming light.

"You're sober, snake lady?" said Arzan growled. Hearing that made Dita frown while looking for the mother to ask for an explanation. She was confused as to why her husband said she was a snake woman. Looked at the face of panic of the mother from behind the body of Arzan. The woman looked extremely frightened and next to her was her in-laws who looked to be sighing deeply.

"Sister, what does Big Brother mean by calling me a snake woman?"

"Then what name is appropriate for you?"

"Sister, I'm your wife. It's not appropriate that my brother would be rude to me. I just realized, you should be happy and welcome me. After all, you should apologize to me because you accidentally pushed me down" Dita said.

"Yes, I'm sorry I didn't push you harder for you to fall down and never wake up again!"

Hearing Arzan's words made the one there surprised.

"What are you saying, Arzan? Why do you talk like that? If you really do, then you can go to jail! It's the same as criminal!" mama Dita was angry. He took a few steps closer to his son, standing beside Dita's bed.

"Then? Is cheating a criminal?" asked the man with a slanted smile looking at his mother-in-law.

"What does Brother mean?" tanya Dita was confused. Arzan turned his head, looking at Dita with a horrible smile.

"You must pay for all the lies and cunning you have done, Dita!" the man said, pointing at the face of the woman lying down.

"What do you mean, brother? I just woke up and instead of you asking about my wife and child, but you're acting strangely like this." the woman grumbled in annoyance. Hearing what Dita said made Arzan laugh.

"Kids? What boy? Imaginary son?"

"Sister! What the hell is wrong with you?"

"Ma, why is Brother Arzan behaving like this? What's the matter exactly?" ask Dita to her mother. Her mother looked confused and did not know what to answer.

"Don't pretend to be your fool, Dita! You should know what you did to me! I didn't think you were so mean and cunning!"

"What is not entitled? You have obviously deceived me! You said you were pregnant with my son! In reality, you are not pregnant!" yelled Arzan furiously. Even his neck veins were clearly visible on his face. Hearing that made Dita look in disbelief. How could Arzan know his lies? He turned to his mother, then turned back to the man who was staring at him with a beaver. He sat with fear.

"What's? Wanna dodge?"

"Relse ... Wh-what do you mean, brother? I-I'm really pregnant with an older sister."

"Don't act stupid! You think I can be lied to continuously by you? You sly woman!"

"Sister! Stop saying I'm a cunning woman! I'm doing all this because I love you so much!" the woman almost cried.

"Then on the basis of love you can justify any means? What you did was wrong, Dita!" yelled Arzan furiously.

"Sister, please forgive me. I did all this because of my sister. I'm like this because I love my sister and I'm afraid of losing my sister."

The woman was crying and got out of bed. Grabbing her husband's hand to apologize. But Arzan immediately thinned him roughly.

"Sister, I beg you to forgive me."

"Basic crazy woman! I am truly sorry for marrying you! We're divorced!" yelled Arzan furiously. Like being struck by lightning in broad daylight, the woman was surprised not to play. His eyes glared in disbelief, then the next second he shook his head.

"No! I don't want a divorce! Please don't divorce me, brother. I don't want a divorce!" the woman knelt at the feet of her husband and begged for forgiveness. Mama Dita who saw it also looked surprised. He immediately approached the son-in-law and begged.

"Please don't divorce my son. How will my son's fate be? I can't bear to be a widow at this young age."

"I don't care! I will arrange for the cancellation of the marriage as soon as possible. Don't ever show up in front of me again" he said firmly. He immediately walked away from Dita and her mother. Dita screamed and cried so badly. He does not want a divorce.

"Sister. Please forgive me! Don't divorce me!" the screams are full of grief. Mama Dita was just crying staring at her sad child. She tried to calm down, but Dita struggled to catch up with her husband.

"Didn't you hear what my son said?" Mama Arzan stood in front of the two women who were resting on the floor pitifully.

"Never appear before him again! And I and Arzan could sue you both for fraud! Listen carefully! Don't ever show up in front of the two of us!" the woman was angry.

"Ma, please forgive Dita. Dita did all this because she loved brother Arzan. Please, Ma. Persuade brother Arzan to cancel his intention. Begged Ma, "the woman cupped her hands together in front of her chest.

"Sorry, Dita. Arzan's decision was right. Even you are worse than Aisha. I thought you could be a good daughter-in-law and wife, but you were worse than I thought. If Arzan really divorces you, then I will gladly support him. You don't deserve to be part of my family! So I hope you never come home again and never show your face in front of me and my son!"

After saying that, Mama Arzan passed by leaving Dita who was screaming hysterically. There's no hope for that woman now. Dita and her mother could only cry lamenting her very miserable fate.
