The Heart of Mike

Edward's eyes sharpened and so focused on his steering. He drove his car at a very high speed. Next to her Clara sat with tears still dripping down her face. The girl looked still so shocked and frightened. Especially now her heart is really anxious to think about how the fate of Alena who gave herself to Mike.

He turned to Edward at a glance and again bowed, his hands squeezing each other. His heart was really not calm at this moment.

"Are you okay, miss?" Edward asked a glance at Clara

"I'm scared" Clara replied so quietly

"You are safe. Be calm. I'll take you to Mr. Ken's mansion" Edward said. But Clara just kept quiet without wanting to respond to Edward's words as usual. And of course it made Edward look back at him. He saw that Clara was like her was indeed being depressed at this moment, the girl's face was really pale.

Edward brings Clara Kenzo's kemansion for not wanting their parents to find out about the matter. Kenzo does not want his parents to interfere again in his troubles, so he asks Edward to bring Clara his kemansion.

Nearly an hour later Edward's car arrived in front of Kenzo's mansion. He got out of the car and walked quickly to open the door for the girl.

"Come on, miss" Edward said. Clara glanced at Edward as she wiped away the tears on her face that had some bruises.

He came out slowly from inside the car but his steps were slightly staggered as his body was completely limp at this moment. Edward swiftly grabbed Clara's arm and helped the girl walk into the mansion.

"Ed, can my sister save Alena?" Clara asked Edward, who was still able to walk

"Master must have saved Miss Alena" Edward replied

"I'm afraid something will happen to them. For helping me Alena willingly gave herself to the cruel man" Clara said so sadly

"They must be fine, miss" said Edward

Clara immediately stopped her footsteps, she stared fixedly at Edward. The pale and scarred face really made Edward's heart touched.

"Ed, go find them. Ken's brother must need your help" Clara asked

"I will leave after making sure your condition is fine" said Edward

"But they are in danger" Clara said again

"You and Miss Alena mean the same thing to Mr. Ken. Once you're okay I'll definitely leave" said Edward, he stared at Clara's face with a clingy make the girl also stare at him with a wistful look, there was hope emanating on his face for Edward.

"Ed, you know best how my brother is. Only Alena can treat her pain after being left behind by Rose's sister. Please go save him. I'm fine here" Clara asked

"You sure?" Edward and Clara immediately nodded but a few seconds later she returned to the scene in Edward's arms.

"Miss!" Call Edward when Clara is unconscious in her arms.

Edward immediately brought Clara to his room on the second floor to be examined by Richard's doctor later.

While in the forest on the hill, Alena is seen grimacing in pain when her hand is pulled by Mike. Mike took her to the hilly area where the forest still feels so beautiful and lush.

Her car was left on the edge of the forest, and she took Alena deeper into the forest.

The slippery and drizzly streets that had been down made their steps look tired, especially they walked in the dark, only illuminated by a small flashlight that was deliberately carried by Mike.

Alena's breathing was heavy because Mike had not stopped pulling her. Fear, anxiety, worry, all mixed into one in his heart.

Alena's tears have since continued to come out along with drops of rain and dew that wet her face.

Alena doesn't know if she can survive this time. Wanted to hope Kenzo would help him, but if Kenzo could find him in this forest. Mike has gone too far to take him into the forest, and again this forest is also guarded by Thomas and Jesica's men. So it's impossible if Kenzo can find it so easily.

Alena's just hoping that, even if she dies tonight, Kenzo and his family will be fine.

He went back to Alena and knelt down in front of the girl.

"Let's go up" she said, but Alena immediately shook her head and rewinded her steps

"Get's Alena!" Call Mike again

"Ti don't want to" cried Alena with her sobbing, making Mike immediately turned towards her with a sharp look

"Mike, I beg you to kill me, I don't want to come with you" asked Alena who continued to rewind her steps but Mike immediately pulled her back

"You won't let me die so easily." Mike's growl that immediately pulled Alena's hand strong, so the girl immediately stood up and walked limped because Mike again dragged her by force.

"Mike's sick" cried Alena

"I've been kind to you, but you don't know yourself. Then feel the consequences" said Mike who continues to pull Alena up the hill.

Alena kept crying because she really couldn't anymore. For a long time they walked, even Alena's legs were covered with incision wounds from thorny bushes and twigs of wood. His high heels shoes have been detached somewhere so he is currently walking barefoot.

"Ughh" Alena fell again because of her leg pierced by a twig.

"Alena you" snarled Mike turned to look at Alena who grimaced in pain holding onto her bloody foot

"Mike I'm really not strong" said Alena staring at Mike with her pitiful face

Mike immediately knelt down and checked the condition of Alena's leg which was already filled with wounds. Instantly her heart became guilty, because no matter how much she hated Alena, but really, Alena was the one woman who managed to make her heart melt.

Without saying anything Mike immediately turned around and lifted Alena up on his back.

"Mike put me down" cried Alena, her body instantly shaking because she was so afraid of this man

"Shut up, or I'll throw you down there" Mike said, holding Alena on his back.

Her hand held Alena's thigh so the girl wouldn't fall.

She knew Alena was terrified, because she could feel Alena's body vibrating on her back.

"Mike, put me down" said Alena who held back her sobbing. His hand held doubtful Mike's shoulder which was just silent and continued walking towards the top of the hill.

"I'm scared" muttered Alena

"Close your eyes, let's just say I'm a meaningful person in your life, then you won't be afraid anymore" Mike said with a ring on his face, because the road is so slippery, the road is so slippery, so he has to keep his balance.

Her next hand tried to pull the roots of the tree hanging there, while the one held Alena so as not to fall.

Mike immediately held onto Alena's leg firmly making the girl instantly suffocate strongly.

"Mike don't!!" Shouted Alena but Mike did not care. He pulled out a small knife from behind his jacket, and of course it frightened Alena even more.

Mike put the knife to Alena's feet, the girl closed her eyes tightly, she was really afraid that Mike would hurt her. But a few minutes closed he did not feel anything, instead he felt if his legs were wiped so gently.

Alena opens her eyes slowly, and peeks at Mike from behind her eyelashes. The man is seen tearing his lower dress and tying his leg wound with the dress.

"Yes, I know. I've always hurt you. Even if I say I love you a thousand times you won't accept it. Because all you know is that I can only hurt you, unlike Kenzo Barrent who always protects you" Mike murmured

"Alena, even just to get you now, I've sacrificed everything. My life, my wealth, and my freedom" Mike told Alena

Alena's eyes were closed with tears flowing back down her face. His head immediately drooped in Mike's arms who swiftly caught it.

"Alena!" call Mike to the unconscious Alena.
