ARSHAKA

ARSHAKA
Drafts

"You owe me a story,"

I turned to look at the presence of Muri who had brought her lunch tray

sitting next to me.

I just wanted to gobble up the fried rice I bought at the cafeteria, but I did

the gaze demanded that I tell her when my stomach was shaking

request filled.

"So what is the continuation of your love story with Mr. Commissioner?" Whisper with a round view

the whole canteen, make sure that the conversation is only heard by me.

"But it seems to end well." Muri. He seemed to think of the incident where Arshaka came to Homestay.

"Yes. That's it." I replied while feeding my lunch. I could not endure my hunger.

"But I was curious, how could you have such a special relationship with him? As far as I know you are not the same age, how did you meet each other before? One school? One college?"

"He's Leo's schoolmate,"

Muri.

"So Leo introduced her to you?"

"No." I said quickly.

"Then how can it be?"

I took a long breath.

"The story is long,"

"Tell me! I was ready to be a good listener," Muri confirmed her sitting position and then she looked at me with great care.

Geez, what a big tumben Muri this cot.

"I knew him at my college friend's birthday party. He's invited."

"Then you guys meet there?"

I shook my head, "No."

The forehead of the muri is wrinkled, looking confused.

"I did not intentionally drink alcohol. Then I got drunk." I continued.

"So you were helped by him when you were drunk?"

"No." I said again.

"I accidentally kissed her lips,"

This time Muri looked at me.

"Well, are you really like that? I didn't expect,"

"Me too" I sighed. Remember that moment was the most embarrassing moment.

"How is it going?"

"He approached me. Almost every day he sends me Flowers to Home. Then we went out,"

"Romantis is also him," said Muri after she sipped her new drink.

"But we broke up soon."

"Why?" ask Muri.

"She's courting me because she's betting with her friends,"

Muri returned to gawking.

"Seriously?"

I'm nodding.

"When did it break up?"

"Yes. Then we disappeared with each other. And we just met again when we had lunch in Badung yesterday."

"And he tried to approach you again?"

I'm nodding.

"Why do you want to be with her again if she's just playing you? You should be angry and reluctant to go back to her,"

I smile. I knew I'd get questions like that.

I put my spoon on an empty plate. Wiping my lips for a glance then gulped my drinking water up the toilet.

"I've heard his explanation to me. He has also apologized for all his mistakes.."

"..i also thought about not coming back. But it turns out that my heart still trembles when I look at her, my heart is shady and broken when I'm with her, and it's just that my heart will get hurt again if she gets back away from me.."

"..so I went back to her."

My memories with Arshaka are quite bitter, but if there were no such incident I might not be with him at this time.

But I am grateful for the end of those bitter memories.

"Your love story is complicated, too,"

I was just a mangosteen while chewing on a piece of fruit that Muri had not bought in the store for long.

My conversation was about work. While receiving the discussion from Muri, I was busy noting the important points in my little book that I always took with me wherever I went.

As I write, my phone vibrates, indicating that a message is coming in.

At first glance I read an incoming message that apparently was from Arshaka, asking for my current whereabouts.

But my hand did not move to reach the phone but continued to write in the book. I will reply to Arshaka's message after I have recorded all the points from Muri.

"Make a reminder Bi! On the 22nd day we have to send the report to the head office. Then we make a copy of our report to Paak Tommy."

I nodded again while writing what Muri asked.

"Are you not?" I asked and looked up at Muri. I looked at Muri who was staring at something in the back.

Then I looked back, following Muri's gaze.

I blinked to see Arshaka standing near the doorway of the Canteen, standing there with both hands tucked behind his pants pocket.

And Arshaka was looking at me and Muri.

Instantly I circled around me. Seeing almost all the employees who were resting in the cafeteria looking at Arshaka who was still standing there, and they followed Arshaka's gaze and joined me in my position with Muri.

Instantly my feelings began to not be careless because of his presence here.

Arshaka stepped wide, walked straight and stopped right next to my dining table.

Then he moved closer to me, and he sat beside me.

Just beside me.

"What meda?" Arshaka asked who was observing my dining table. He saw my empty plate and a mica filled with pieces of fruit.

Then his gaze looked up at Muri with a sharp look, then turned to glance at me.

I was suddenly awkward, as if I was having an affair with Muri.

"We're discussing work, sir." Muri answered Arshaka's question with a calm manner.

We were after discussing work.

But somehow my body temperature turned cold.

Seeing the situation turn stiff, Muri got up and said goodbye to return to her study.

"I'm first, sir,"

Then Muri left, leaving me and Arshaka both here.

But the passing of Muri made me feel even more unsettled, because now everyone is watching me and Arshaka at this time.

"Why is my message not answered?"

Afraid I glanced at Arshaka. But I try to behave as usual.

"So I finished meeting with Mr. Muri, sir." I replied as formally as possible. Just in case my conversation sounds like someone else.

But my words just provoked a cynical wave of Arshaka.

"You're close to that guy,"

What does Arshaka mean? Is he asking or giving a statement?

"We're close because we're a team, and he's my boss sir" I said.

"So it seems," Arshaka the bearded manggut that actually makes my forehead wrinkled confused.

We were silent for a moment. I don't know what Arshaka is thinking right now.

"Have you eaten?" ask me with the minimum voice possible. Afraid to hear people still watching us.

But my question made me feel more and more cornered. Arshaka immediately moved to face me and watched me carefully.

"No, yet" he answered.

"Why not?" ask again.

"Because I want to eat with you. But you ate first with that guy,"

I understand why I asked for my whereabouts.

"When we eat together yeah,"

"Really?"

I'm nodding.

"Yes." Yeah."

Arshaka smile.

And I returned her smile.

Before long one of Arshaka's hands moved up to my head. Slowly she stroked my hair gently.

"Actually I was angry with you because my message you didn't reply."

I was stunned to hear Arshaka's explanation.

"Moreover I saw you alone with that man. I don't like to see your closeness, either,"

"He's just my boss, Arsha." I explained my position and Muri's.

"That's what you said. We don't know if that guy thinks of you as just his PA.."

On the sidelines of the conversation he smiled cynically.

"..we don't know what he thinks of you."

I didn't respond to Arshaka's words. More precisely my lips suddenly turned upside down.

Arshaka's mood is not good. Don't let me fish for his dark side like when he locked me in his house.

"Come back to your room! And later in the afternoon wait for me in front of your workspace, baby! I'm going home with you,"

I don't need to respond to it. Because I knew Arshaka would do whatever he wanted.

...******...

I got up and smiled knots, waiting for my turn to shake hands with some important relationships that Muri and I were meeting in a famous coffee shop, located not too far from the position of A.P Office. Coal.

Originally Muri had a working Agenda meeting with them and was about to leave alone.

But Muri asked me to immediately finish my work in the Office, after it was finished he asked me to accompany him.

As usual I was with him. I went and met with a working relationship

we met was a Bussiness Woman with two of her staff.

Yes I know it who she is. I know him because he had stopped by the Diamond Burke Office in Jakarta. We meet again here to discuss our cooperation between the company and Diamond Burke.

But I never thought that Muri would make me a shield. Seeing her smiley attitude watching Muri with naughty eyes I judged if the woman liked Muri.

My presence here is not considered by him. All my explanations are considered

a little wind passed and he asked Muri to explain back what I had said.

If you know what it is for me to come here and tired of explaining to the woman if she just wants to listen to Muri?

Given that I can only stroke my chest while holding my wrath as hard as possible because he is still not far from my position. Never stepping out of the cafe, it looks very clear if the woman is still at home talking to her handsome brondong.

But funny too. Didn't expect there to be aunty who likes Muri like that.

Fortunately I was not so with Arshaka.

Speaking of Arshaka, I felt like my tote bag was constantly shaking because the phone came in. From the beginning I arrived at the Cafe I accidentally turned on the vibrating mode on my phone, worried again about important things so divided to hear there was an incoming call.

I'm sure my phone keeps vibrating in there because there's a call from Arshaka.

Before I get here, I'd like to tell Arshaka by phone if

I'd like to meet with a relationship outside the office with Muri. I'm afraid that this meeting will take a while, so Arshaka won't have to

waiting for me too long.

Apparently when I called him, his secretary picked up the phone. I could hear her flat tone replying to me when I asked Arshaka, she said that Arshaka was attending a meeting with the Division leaders.

"Sir is very busy. I was contacted about 2 hours later from

now." now."

I widened my eyes staring at the phone handle as the phone tone was unilaterally cut off from there.

I could only stroke my chest while muttering the word patiently many times.

Waiting for Muri to still talk to the woman, I lay down my back and sat back and relaxed while enjoying a coffee drink with a Rum mixture that so calmed my smell and mind at the moment.

"We sit here first. I'm so tired" said Muri as she approached me. Of course I nodded casually as the office hours had also ended by a few minutes

then.

So that we can sit down to relax for a while to enjoy the afternoon atmosphere in the middle of Bali.

"Have you called Arshaka if you're here with me?" Muri asked while

sipping his ice coffee. His face slightly bent after trying the coffee that he had

messaging. I don't think Muri likes her order coffee.

"It's like," I replied accordingly.

"Kayaknya? Didn't you just want to call her?"

"Yes already. But who raised his Secretary,"

Muri glared at me.

"Mad Julia's the one who picked up? How can he hold Mr. Arshaka's cell phone?"

"I called Arshaka using the office telephone line,"

"Huh? How can? Can't you just call her phone number?"

I shook my head slowly while sipping my coffee again using a stainless straw.

Of course I have Arshaka's cell phone number. But since my phone wasn't picked up for that I tried to call her through the office phone line.

But there I was sprayed the sentence judes the Secretary of Arshaka.

"What if he came here all of a sudden?"

I sniffed my shoulders, "He doesn't know we're here. I just haven't said

whatever to Julia, just the existence of Arshaka directly juiced and then my phone turned off. Yeah, I did,"

I went back to sipping my drink. But I saw Muri's face turn stiff.

Just like when he saw Arshaka in the Canteen this afternoon.

"Just what I said. Arshaka is following tuh,"

Spontaneously I turned my body around and saw Arshaka coming with wide strides.

His face looks calm. But the maniknya gushed.

Seeing Arshaka coming my heart is too tight. Like I was really cheating.

Which makes me wonder why he knew I was here?

I caught Arshaka's sight of Muri, her jaw stiff, seemingly holding back from exploding in public.

"Ear afternoon. Let's go home,"

Arshaka started to pull my hand to follow her.

"Let Bianca come home with me, Mr. Arshaka."

Arshaka and I looked at Muri with different expressions.

Trying hard I gave Muri an eye code to let me go, while Arshaka was still trying to look calm.

"There's no need to bother being my lover's driver.."

My gaze immediately lowered as Arshaka looked at me.

"..take your time!"

I can only follow Arshaka's steps with fear and guilt with Muri.

May Muri not abuse me when we get to Homestay.
