While twisting the tiny fingers on my lap, I sat still and both my eyes observed some people were busy themselves with their activities. Some were talking, some were busy with their phones.
I am currently attending a farewell party deliberately organized by the A.P. Coal Corp for me and Diamond Burke colleagues, considering today is our last day working in Bali. Before coming here Mr. Tommy said if his party had made a simple dinner for our farewell, he pointed to a restaurant located on the hill looks quite luxurious.
The event was attended by us as Diamond Burke's co-worker and several A. P. employees. Certain coal.
But what I saw was far from simple. This event was decorated quite lively until there was a display decoration that said 'Farewell Party'.
As usual I sat down next to Muri. I just kept quiet and listened to Muri's conversation with some Division Heads. On my other side there is Mbak Enni who is chatting with colleagues A.P. Other coal. Mas Sigit went to the toilet.
Although it seems crowded but the event feels warm to me. But, uh,
"Sir Arshaka really can't come, Mr Tommy?" one of the A.P employees. Coal asks Tommy to take Arshaka's presence.
The atmosphere was suddenly silent after hearing the name Arshaka. Like a mantra that is able to dim the atmosphere, without the presence of Arshaka as if the event cannot run according to their planning.
"It seems that he cannot, because his departure schedule is around this time. Wouldn't go hunting if he wanted to come here,"
I could see the facial expressions of some of the female employees who turned sour like pieces of young mango.
Then I also heard the laughter holding Muri staring at the women. Then he looked at me and again giggled to himself when I saw him while raising his next eyebrow.
Waiting for the event to begin, my phone rang a sign of an incoming message. I read a message from Arshaka asking about this event.
Arshakas:
I'm leaving, baby, the show's started yet?
Bianca:
It'll start soon. Be careful on the road!
I instantly dimmed my phone when Mr. Tommy started opening the show.
Not much of a series of greeting words was echoed. Just express their appreciation for our dedication in working with the A.P. Coal. Do not forget to end with prayer and hope that this cooperation is always well established, and pray for mutual success.
Muri took part in giving his speech, after finishing giving a reception of the dinner-dining event immediately took place.
When several waiters take turns to serve food, Arshaka suddenly comes with several other people including Reymond.
As soon as we got up from the chair with our surprised faces and we immediately welcomed their presence. Arshaka's presence at the event made the women's mood again turn happy, as if getting an annual bonus.
I started to look at their expressions.
We sat down again as Arshaka and Reymond began to occupy their seats. As I stared at Arshaka who was also staring at me across the street, a sweet smile floated towards me making those who were watching Arshaka now look at me as well.
I immediately turned my eyes to the other direction.
It felt as if my heart was slipping suddenly being stared at by them like that.
"Yes, let's enjoy the food." Mr. Tommy managed to turn his eyes to look at them towards the dish on the table.
When I came back to look at Arshaka, the man was being served by the famously beautiful and fashionable Secretary, commonly called Sister Julia - if you forget.
I noticed the woman asking about the food menu that Arshaka was going to eat. Then the hands of the row lead right to the menu Chicken Bakar Kecap with fresh lettuce placed on the plate Arshaka.
"Fast to eat, afraid to run out." Muri's whisper was right in my ear. He knew that I was hot watching Sister Julia so painstakingly preparing food onto Arshaka's plate.
I just nosedived and directly scooped the Sweet Acid Gurame Fish. I struggled to devour my food even though I suddenly had no lust.
Both my eyes glanced back at Arshaka who was looking at me again now. But his attention was back when Sister Julia asked him to speak.
Okay, I'm starting to go wrong. They were just talking to each other but my heart and my eyes started to burn and hurt.
"Bi, are you okay? How did you keep quiet?" Ask Ma'am Enni beside me. His gaze led to Arshaka and Julia Ma'am who were still busy chatting. Mba Enni's words still haven't been answered.
"Mending you try pudding mango deh. I think it's delicious Bi," said Mbak Enni while pointing towards the pudding he meant. I understand if Mbak Enni wants to distract me so that I do not pay too much attention to their activities that look sticky like Korean glue.
For your information-Mbak Enni and Mas Sigit know about my relationship with Arshaka. So I do not hesitate to show my bad mood in front of Mbak Enni.
Then I immediately shook my head politely, then I got up and disappeared from the crowd of people towards the courtyard of the Restaurant yard available here.
The grounds that show the beautiful and soothing atmosphere of Bali night. From here I could see the glittering lights of the City successfully washing my eyes. As I sat on a sturdy wooden fence deliberately made as a seat, I let myself enjoy the roar of the cold night breeze. But I like it.
Too cool to look at the sea of lights down there, I didn't realize if there was someone standing behind me. He opened his work coat and pinned it on my shoulder to cover my body so I wouldn't get cold.
I turned my head to find Arshaka holding me from behind.
"It's cold baby. You'll be sick later,"
"Hot in what way?" His god behind my neck made me snort.
"In the heat."
Arshaka let out a small snort, then he turned to face me.
"It's hot to see me talking to Julia?"
"No," I immediately turned my eyes so that I would not be caught.
"We were just chatting about Bee's work, that's it,"
"Yes I know you guys were chatting earlier. Who said you guys were somersaulting on the table?"
Arshaka couldn't help but hold his bracelet, "My candidate was jealous apparently. Gemes deh," he said while pinching my cheek angrily.
"Iiihhh. There you'll be searched for, "my regek while clasping his hand.
"Who's looking for me?"
"Your employees are in there. It'll be discovered that you're here with me,"
"What if I'm found out that you're here?" Arshaka's expression instantly turned sour hearing my sentence just now.
"What's wrong if I want to be with you here? Is there a ban on kayak?"
I was getting clumsy to see Arshaka starting to get stuck, "It's not nice if your employees see we're here. It was just talk,"
"I don't care. It's none of my business and it shouldn't be their business either."
"Yes, don't be so angry. Not good at the whimper of people," I said as I glanced around. Fortunately some of the people who were also in the yard did not hear our debate.
"I don't like that word of yours," his delicacy of drawing me to freeze on the spot.
"Yes, don't sulk!" i said again.
"I'm not craving,"
I took one hand and held it gently. Then I add a cute face with puppy-eyes that people say will look funny and usually always manage to melt a couple who are snacking like gini.
"I'm sorry Bee" I said, looking at him intently.
Arshaka was silent for a moment looking at me, then he sighed, "Alright."
As expected, my efforts were not in vain to put a face on the blankets. I managed to melt it I smiled sumringah.
"Thank you for apologizing to me,"
I smile back. But suddenly Arshaka grabbed my chin, and then he turned his head and kissed my lips.
The small kiss that came over me pampered my lips to the point of kuterlena. Unknowingly both of my hands had draped down her neck and Arshaka had to lift my body a little so I could match her play.
The skin-piercing cold turned into a breeze of heat that spread freely all over the body as a result of our kisses, and was able to bring out the sweaty sweaty globules drenching the side of my forehead.
Starting to need more oxygen, Arshaka finally released my lips that had been swollen by it. So intense he looked at me and his thumb started to sweep the corner of my lips.
"I miss you so much, your hugging doesn't drain my miss enough."
"So you actually slept in my room there?" I asked with an amused smile looking at Arshaka.
Arshaka nodded as he clasped my waist, "I had wanted to bring your bolster to my Office, but the same Leo is forbidden."
"hey are. Why are you bringing my bolsters to your office?!" i chuckle. Then my hand began to move freely stroking the mane of his black hair that began to extend.
"After I finish my business here, I'll soon catch up with you to Jakarta. I'll come again with Reymond to meet Dad officially. Before the end of the year we get married, yeah,"
I stared at his embarrassed face. The eyeballs were highlighted sincerely and steadily as Arshaka talked about our wedding plans.
Without needing to think long, of course, I replied with the same expression. Even my tears colored our euphoric feelings.
I can't wait for Arshaka to come to see Dad again and welcome our happy day.
