That afternoon, Ainsley was seen lying on the sofa in his room and looked bored. His job was done, a document he had checked so there was nothing else he could do. It felt like he wanted to go somewhere and do something fun, what if he took Damian for a walk?

Ainlsey looked up at the sky of the room and was silent, her mind drifting away and suddenly her face flushed red as she recalled the picnic she had with Damian. He was very curious, Damian took it as what? Does that guy consider him a friend? Or family? Or does she see herself as a special woman?

Their relationship was as usual but there were some things they never did like hugs and kisses, although only a kiss on the forehead and cheeks but they have just done something like that lately. Did Damian think it was special? He was very curious but did he have to ask first?

Ainsley picked up her phone and turned the thing in hand, she looked doubtful and thoughtful. Should he do it first?

"No, Ainsley, No!" he said while putting his phone back.

Ainsley looked back at the sky of the room, for some reason hoping Damian would call her and take her to lunch. Maybe he should lure the man in, just be careful if he doesn't understand the point. Ainsley took her phone back and wrote a message there, she hoped Damian would contact her immediately but unfortunately did not.

Five minutes had passed, Ainsley looked agitated. Sometimes he looks at the phone and sometimes he looks up at the sky. His fingers seemed to be playing, he looked increasingly agitated but twenty minutes had passed, Damian did not contact him either.

"Basic is insensitive and boring!" ainsley's grumbling was upset. It turned out that what Damian's father said was very true, the man was insensitive.

Ainsley grabbed her phone and straightened her seat. He started looking for Damian's cell phone number and after that he contacted the man without hesitation. Though he really wished Damian had contacted him first but it seemed impossible.

When his phone rang, Damian was busy. He should finish his work as soon as possible. That's why he didn't see the message sent by Ainsley. The phone reached and without looking again, Damian answered his phone.

"Hallo?"

"Dam-Dam."

"Ainsley?"

"I want to take Mayumi to lunch and take a walk, is it okay?" ainsley asked in an annoyed tone to the point of surprising Damian. What's wrong with that girl?

"Can't you?!" ainsley asked again in an annoyed tone because Damian had not answered.

"Of course you can, but are you just gonna take her?" damian asked, looking at his watch. It was time for lunch and he didn't realize it.

"Yes, I'm going to take her out for a meal, go for a walk and find a boyfriend!" Ainsley replied in a tinge.

"What's? Hey!" Damian wanted to protest but unfortunately Ainsley had turned off his phone.

Damian looked at his phone with a frown, only to realize Ainsley was sending him a message. Damian reads the message so he finds out why Ainsley sounds upset.

After turning off her phone, Ainsley rushed over because she wanted to take Mayumi for a walk. After all, he has no job, this opportunity he can use to make friends with Mayumi and also invite Mayumi to enjoy the beauty of San Francisco.

Once he arrived, Mayumi was ready. Mayumi was very happy because this was the first time she was invited to go for a walk during her time in the city. He even looked impatient and walked up to Ainsley in a hurry when he saw Ainsley. Not only was he waiting, it turned out that Damian was also waiting.

He also approached Ainsley but the girl threw away her face when she saw him to the point of Damian's astonishment. Is Ainsley angry?

"Are you ready to go, Mayumi?" ask Ainsley.

"Of course, I'm impatient" Mayumi replied.

"Come, we'll take a walk until the afternoon and find a handsome guy!" ainsley said as she glanced at Damian.

"Hey... Hey, don't be so reckless!" damian.

"Bye, sir is insensitive and boring!" ainsley said as she pulled Mayumi's hand away.

"What?" Damian was stunned, was he boring?

Mayumi looked back and chuckled when she saw Damian's expression. The man did not even flinch and still looked towards them.

"Hey, you just touched her!" mayumi.

"Let it go, I'm just kidding. If you're worried about her you can cheer her up."

"Don't misunderstand me, Ainsley."

"You mean?" ainsley asked not to understand.

Their conversation came to a halt as they got into the car through a different door. Ainsley asked his personal driver to take them to the restaurant and on the way they talked again.

"Just calm down Ainsley, I won't take Damian away from you, '" Mayumi replied.

"What's? Don't talk too much!" ainsley's face flushed red from Mayumi's words.

"I'm serious, we're just friends so don't get me wrong because of our closeness."

"All right, but why are you in town, Mayumi? Are you in trouble?"

Mayumi smiled faintly and after that she lowered her head, her face even looked sad as she was reminded of her father.

"Mayumi, what's wrong?" Ainsley's not feeling well.

"It's okay, I'm reminded of my father" Mayumi replied.

"So? You really in trouble?" ainsley asked, while Mayumi nodded.

"Tell me, what happened to you?"

Mayumi looks hesitant because she does not want anyone to know the problems she is experiencing especially she must be vigilant.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone what you're going through. Trust me," Ainsley said as he looked into Mayumi's doubts.

"All right, I'll trust you."

"If so tell me, what happened?"

"I was being chased by two Ainsley yakuza, so Damian took me and hid me here."

"really?" Ainsley is so sorry for Mayumi.

"Aren't you surprised?" ask Mayumi.

"Of course not, tell me why they're after you? As a friend I will definitely help you."

"Thanks Ainsley, but I don't want to involve you" Mayumi smiled. It seemed like the woman Damian liked was no ordinary person. He knew who Damian had liked all along, as a friend he knew very well.

"No need to worry and tell me everything you've been through" Ainsley touched Mayumi's hand. He would definitely help Mayumi if he could.

"My father made a promise with Akira and he was the leader of a group in Japan. My father promised to marry us but I refused and because of my refusal, we were attacked so suddenly that my father chose to kill himself honorably instead of being captured and taken hostage."

"Oh my gosh," Ainsley could not believe hearing it but he again asked because he was curious, "Why did you refuse him, Mayumi?"

"Because there's been another man in my heart!" mayumi replied without hesitation.

"Oh yeah?"

"Don't get me wrong, please," Mayumi quickly asked as she was afraid of Ainsley's greeting.

"The one I love isn't Damian, he's my best friend and he also knows who I like."

"So that's why you said it won't be long 'cause you're waiting here for the man you love?" ask Ainsley.

"True, he promised to pick me up and take me away so that the yakuza could not find my whereabouts. Damian hid me here for a while until my lover came to pick me up."

"You don't have to fear Mayumi, as long as you're here, you'll be safe."

"really?"

"Yes, because you're Damian's best friend so I'll definitely help you."

"Thanks, Ainsley," Mayumi hugged her, she did not expect that there were still people who cared about her at the time when she was having problems. The person he just knew cared so much, while his best friend who was in Japan did not want to be involved. They talked again and they got along quickly. Ainsley invited Mayumi to eat until satisfied, go for a walk and buy a lot of things.
