Nayna is currently busy ironing her clothes and Arkan, but she stopped her activities first because she heard her phone on the nightstand ringing, his eyes stared in disbelief as he looked at the name on his phone.
Without waiting any longer, he picked up the phone with a sparkling face, a longing clearly visible from the eyes.
"Ha–halo," said Nayna, so nervous she spoke with a stutter.
Silence, no sound was heard on his phone, he looked at his phone screen, still connected, but why was there no sound, whether the caller did not mean to call him, or maybe just a puck.
'Hello, Nay. How are you doing?'
Hearing a voice that he had not heard for over a month, made his tears slide freely on his cheeks, between happy and sad mixed into one, creating a definite sobriety, I can be heard by the person across the phone.
"I'm fine Ma, Mama and Papa how? You guys are okay, right?"
'We're good too, ' said from behind his phone.
After that there was no sound between the two people who missed each other, but awkwardness was present between them. Nayna was pleased that her mother contacted her first, she was relieved that both of her parents were fine.
'How are you and your husband?' ask Winda after a moment of silence.
"They're good too, a few days ago I just checked the contents and everything is fine" Nayna said with a little enthusiasm.
'Thank God, you have to take care of your health.'
"Yes Ma, what's the mama doing?" ask Nayna.
'Well, what are you doing yourself?'
"I'm ironing clothes again" said Nayna.
'Oh yeah if so, mama hang up the phone first, later mama call again sometime.'
"Yes, Ma, I'm sorry Nayna for disappointing Mama and Papa" said Nayna.
'Yes, everything has happened, you just make this a lesson, so that in the future you think about the consequences before doing something."
Hearing the words from her mother, Nayna simply nodded her head, though Winda could not see what she was doing.
After the phone connection was cut off, Nayna again saved her phone back to its original place, although not too satisfied talking with her mother, but she was happy to hear the voice of her mother.
Just now he was about to go back to ironing clothes, the sound of a motorbike stopping in front of his house, followed by the sound of an open door.
Nayna walked out of her room. He did iron his clothes in his room, because there was no other room that could be used for the job.
"Om home yet?" nayna asked at her door, looking at Arkan in wonder.
"Yes, I have business and must leave immediately" Arkan said in a hurry to enter his room.
Nayna was still in her place, she saw the door of Arkan's room that had been closed, in her heart asked, what had really happened, until the man looked rushed like that.
Before long Arkan comes out again, he looks neat, he comes out of his room while calling someone Nayna doesn't know who.
"Thank God that you've prepared everything, I'm done preparing, have you started walking?"
Arkan instantly turned off the phone, after it looked at Nayna who was still staring at him in surprise, he took out his wallet and took something from his wallet.
"Here you go" said Arkan, giving up an ATM card on Nayna.
Nayna did not take it, she just stared at the card and Arkan alternately, displaying his confused face to Arkan.
"I have to go for a few days, you keep it, if you need something you can buy it with the money that's here" said Arkan, who knows Nayna's confusion.
"Om, where are you going, is Om going long?" nayna asked, still not taking what Arkan offered.
"I'm going to go see my niece, she's overseas right now, so I don't know when she's coming back yet" Arkan said.
Nayna nodded in understanding, slowly his hand began to stretch out, taking the card that Arkan thrust at him.
"I also asked for your mobile number" Arkan said.
"Yes Om 08…." Nayna starts mentioning her number and Arkan records it with his phone.
It's been a month since they got married, but they just exchanged mobile numbers now, because they rarely communicate, so previously they did not keep cell phone numbers.
"That's my number, if anything happens as long as I'm not around, you can call me right away" Arkan said, calling the number Nayna gave him.
"Yes Om" said Nayna.
After that there was no more conversation going on between them, they were both silent by staring at each other, until the sound of the car club from outside, making Arkan and Nayna divert their gazes.
"My friend has come" he said as he began walking towards the door.
Nayna followed her way to the door, where she could see a man about the same age as Arkan waiting for her behind the steering wheel with the windshield left open.
"I go first" said Arkan, staring at him intensely again.
"Yes Om, be careful" said Nayna who also looked at Arkan.
"Yes." Yeah." Arkan began to step into the car, where Ivan was waiting for him.
Nayna stared at Arkan from the porch of the house, before entering the car, Arkan stared at him for a while, after which he got into the car, not long after the car began to walk.
"Om Arkan has a nephew, does he only have a nephew?"
Nayna did not know about the man who was her husband, she did not even know where the man's family was, where Arkan's parents were and how many Arkan brothers. He doesn't know that at all.
"We are really two strangers who are forced to live one roof with this bond."
Nayna went back inside the house and continued her work which had been delayed, busying herself with homework like the previous days.
"Wait a minute, why did Arkan not bring anything? She left empty-handed, continuing how clothes and other necessities were," Nayna murmured in the midst of her activities.
He just remembered, if Arkan had not brought anything, not even clothes. Actually, the needs of Arkan had been prepared by Ivan before, until Arkan only brought himself.
