Behind The Boss

Behind The Boss
Visiting Grandma

Although the promise of watching was finally canceled. Plus wet conditions plus ac add cold that hit the body. But Radit remained happy because Kiran held him tightly at night, until they both fell asleep.

In the morning, Radit woke up and prayed at dawn in the mosque. While Kiran prayed at home. Because of the holiday, Radit spent the morning after his prayers in a special sports room. Routines he does every week. Although no longer routine every day.

While Kiran felt a little less excited because last night had run under the rain. His body feels cold hot. So he still do light exercise and then asked to be made warm water by Tina. Warm honey plus lemon is an amazing remedy.

Finished exercising, Radit told Tina to call Kiran to have breakfast together below.

The man's body, clad only in a sleeveless t-shirt, looked full of sweat. Radit wiped it with a small towel that he put around his neck.

At first glance Kiran glanced at how the man's muscles looked increasingly clay with the traces of sweat. Even his face was increasingly masculine. Kiran regained her senses and immediately lowered her gaze.

"Why? You admire me?" radit asked as if he knew that Kiran was stealing a glance at him.

"Your body is full of sweat."

Of course Kiran had to dodge. What would the world say if he was caught watching a Makarim Radite? He might have got a bigger head! Although this man had changed, Kiran still did not dare to believe a hundred percent of his attitude would not change again. Taking care of yourself from all kinds of possibilities is better.

Radit pulled one corner of his lips. "From your gaze, I can already read it. Soon you'll be looking at me with love."

Kiran did not answer. He turned his eyes to the food that was already on the table. Then put it on his plate.

Although his actions seem to deny, in his heart Kiran admitted if he was afraid if it happened. He was afraid without realizing that his heart loved this man sitting before him.

Kiran did not want to extend. He was afraid that his face would meet red later. Plus last night's memory of him hugging Radit until he fell asleep. In that embrace, Radit kissed the top of his head repeatedly. He feels loved. He feels loved.

It's too strange that a Makarim Radit who used to hate him so much, even always looking at him with a frown dislike now so quickly loves him. Even so his heart seemed to pump faster as without cue Radit landed a light kiss all over his face. The event, plus the words that lead to it, if it continues. Kiran sure won't be able to face ordinary anymore.

Radit was still observing his movements. They were only two at the dinner table because Mr. Makarim picked up Mama Ariana at grandma's house.

"You're not eating?" kiran asked, trying to show as flat an expression as possible and sound as calm as possible.

"Take what you like first. I ate after you ate."

Radit replied without letting go of his gaze from Kiran. His hands were left on the table with his body resting on the chair. The man had not been seen at all interested in taking the food and putting it on the plate.

Feeling constantly stared at, Kiran was uneasy as well. He raised his head and opposed Radit's eyes. "Eat. I wouldn't be able to eat if you looked at me like this. Is there something wrong in my face that you keep staring at me like this?"

The man's eyes were as Kiran saw them, as sharp as an eagle. And now the man is smiling. This was the first time Kiran had seen that man's smile. It looks so sweet. Normally, Kiran only caught a cold, cynical or grinning smile. Now that smile had succeeded in making Kiran's heart beat.

"Yes, okay. I'll eat."

Kiran breathed a sigh of relief as Radit finally took the rice and side dishes onto his plate.

"We watch yuk? We didn't watch last night."

There was no reason for Kiran to refuse. "What do we want to see?"

"We'll see it in the cinema. Or search first, what a good movie you want to watch." Kiran nodded.

Afterwards there was no sound as they tried to eat quietly. Although occasionally glancing at each other.

After breakfast, Radit returned to his room. He checked his phone. Any idea there was a call from papa, he thought. As expected, there were a lot of missed calls. But not from papa. From an unknown number. Up to 100 missed calls.

Radit called back that number. The call was quickly picked up. The voice of the adult man answered his call.

"You called my number? With who?"

"I'm sorry Mr. Radit. I'm Password."

"What did you call me?"

The house is so magnificent. Equivalent to Makarim family home. You could say it was even more magnificent this house. The six pillars on the terrace of the house are made towering. With a dominating white color, making this house look more majestic and classic. This is the residence of Madam Tutik Hardiyanti. It was here that Papa Kiran was born and raised before he was finally expelled.

As soon as they set foot on the stairs to the piled terrace, Sandi Sanjaya immediately came and greeted them. He smiled clumsily but his eyes were radiating relief.

"Thank you for coming, Karina" he said sincerely. Kiran could see it. The man's eyes no longer looked at him with hatred.

Kiran did not answer. He let Radit guide him into the house. Their hands are intertwined. It was as if Radit had said there was nothing to fear.

"We're going straight to my workspace?" tanya Sandi glanced at Radit at a glance. Radit seemed to nod with confidence.

Kiran scrunched her forehead. The den? Aren't they going to visit Madame Tutik like Radit said before they left here earlier? Why go to the workroom?

Kiran asked Radit through the look in her eyes, but the man replied with a look in his eyes as if to say you would know later.

❇❇❇❇

"Where do we start?" tanya Sandi Sanjaya started their conversation in a special room. His den.

Kiran glanced at Radit who was beside her. They sat on the couch in the room. They sat Sandi Sanjaya.

"What do you want to ask, Karina?" tanya Radit looked at Kiran softly. Kiran looked back at him inexplicably. What should I ask? That was what Kiran's gaze meant.

Radit smiled faintly looking at Kiran's astonished gaze. Seeing the smile on Radit's lips made Kiran take her eyes off Radit. He could not see the smile on the man's face.

Sandi Sanjaya looked at the two people in front of her in a daze as well. Radit who noticed it immediately laughed a little. "Ah, Karina doesn't know anything about this, Uncle."

".... Before you see Grandma, I want Uncle Sandi to answer all your questions. How's it?"

Radit's words just made Kiran buy her eyes. His heart is beating fast. Answer the whole question?? His heart was like jumping out so happy to come out on the conditions proposed by Radit.

It's time! It's time! I'll ask you everything!

"good. So where do you want to start? Ask me, Karina."

Kiran looked at Sandi Sanjaya. His expression turned cold. "Because you asked, I'd be happy to ask you. Tell me, what have you done to my family?"

Sandi Sanjaya turned her body back. Reflexes tendering on the back of the sofa. Kiran's way of speaking reminded her of her brother. Blood rustling.

"You can ask one-on-one, let me explain it better."

Kiran did not take her eyes off. He watched closely the change in expression made Sandi Sanjaya. So that he knows how to take a stance on the information he gets later.

"OKAY. We started when I was twelve. Were you the mastermind behind my mother's departure back then?" ask Kiran.

Sandi Sanjaya let out a heavy sigh. This is how it feels to talk about sins that have been committed. So heavy. And there was a feeling of regret as big as a mountain squeezing his chest. Especially after knowing that what he did was in vain. That hate is meaningless.

"At that time, I came to your mother when she was alone at home. I asked him to leave you and go as far as possible so that Big Brother could not look for him. I gave him money and a place to live if he obeyed me." Sandy started telling stories.

"And you won because he obeyed you" Kiran said cynically.

"Yes, because I threatened him." Kiran scrunched her forehead.

"I threatened to harm you if he didn't obey me. That way worked enough. After that I found out from the guy I asked to stalk you, that he was gone. But he didn't take my money. Don't even live where I told you to."

"So, where is he now?"

"I don't know either. After that day. Information missing. And strangely enough, my people can't look for him."

Kiran sighed softly. Maybe this is what Papa said that I should not hate Mama. Because I am the reason for his disappearance. He was afraid I was hurt. Mama's afraid I'm wretched.

"Why did you do that to us? Don't you know that our lives are bleak because you asked Mama to leave?"

"That was my goal at the time. I'm not happy you're happy."

"Why do you hate Papa and me so much?"

"I'm sure you've heard this from Mama. I'm sure you've met before, until mom got sick after the meeting."

Kiran did not answer. Because it's true.

"But since you've asked, I'll explain it as I promised."

"I hate Big Brother because he took my future wife, Rina. They stabbed me in the back. When I found out that she was not my biological child, the hatred in my heart increased. I kicked him out of the house. My hatred for him grew even more when I heard the official announcement of the Widjadja family legacy...."

"Grandfather Widjadja left many companies. But all of those companies are entirely in the management of one family member. You know who he is?"

"My father?"

Sandi Sanjaya chuckles. "Yes, you're right. Only my brother can manage it. Even if the company is managed by other family members, it must still get supervision from Brother. The parent company must be the one occupying. I thought that as a mother's biological child, I was only allowed to manage one small company. And that's because of my mom's request."

Sandi laughed a little. His laughter now looks pitiful. "I'm a real child who has to lose away from an adopted child. That's what I was thinking. So I hate your papa more and more."

"Then why do you hate me? What's wrong?"

"Because your face looks like your mother's. I love Rina very much. Looking at your face like Rina, making the pain of losing it present again. So I'm making every effort so you don't show yourself in front of me."

Kiran was silent for a moment. Everything is light now. One more question.

"Did Madam Tutik know all that? Is he working with you?"

Sandi Sanjaya looked a little shocked. He answered quickly. "Of course not. Just me and the Baron. Baron's helping me."

"Who's Baron?" tanya Kiran felt magical hearing one foreign name in her ear.

"She's Sonya's husband." Radit answered.

"Mrsa?"

"Yes, my real mother." Sandi Sanjaya replied in a clean manner.

The room looks spacious. Fill the room with white shades entirely. Starting from cabinets, glass tables, sofas, decorations on the nightstand. Even the bed where the woman slept. All are white.

Kiran stepped carefully. A drizzle began to engulf his heart.

"Grandmother loves you very much, Karina. He repeatedly mentioned your name and brother. He also said he wanted to follow my brother. Don't punish him for my behavior. I'm the guilty one, not him. I don't want to lose him."

"Love him Kiran. Be a good grandson in your place. The sins of the past can be inflicted on me. Treat me as you please. I accept everything. I accept everything." Sandi Sanjaya knelt down at the time.

The middle-aged woman who was by the old woman's side was aware of Kiran's whereabouts. He whispered something into the old woman's ear. The old woman tried to get up with great difficulty helped by the middle-aged woman. He opened his eyes that were heavy to open.

"You came Karina...? You came to see your grandmother? Don't you hate me, granddaughter?" said the old woman. Without being prevented, the clear circle immediately slid down Kiran's smooth cheeks.
