Behind The Boss

Behind The Boss
The Truth of That Night

"Come, Kiran!" pinta Radit on Kiran, opening the rear car door.

"You're sitting in front!" radit orders Ari, seeing his sister open the back door of the car as well.

"Kiran sat with me, brother. Big brother sat in front," replied Ari flatly.

"She's my wife, Ari. I won't let him sit with you. If you want to sit in the back then Bara will sit with you let Brother drive."

Ari fell silent. Inevitably he finally opened the car door and sat beside Bara as a driver. Mr. Gultom's car was deliberately borrowed by Bara for the return of Radit and Kiran. There were two hotel employees by car, following to bring the car back.

"You healthy, Kiran?" ari's voice broke the silence in the car after driving at moderate speed on a paved road.

"Thank God, I'm healthy, Ari. How about yourself? where have you been all this time?"

Since seeing Ari for the first time in the lobby, Kiran wanted to say hello and ask this to the man but did not see the aura he had different. Especially when he saw the togetherness between himself and Radit.

"The whole story, Kiran. After arriving at the house I will tell you about it," Ari said with a gentle smile glancing at Kiran for a moment.

"Radit who met from last night did not you ask also reportedly, Ari? Wow, you really are. Though he was very sad when he lost you," interrupted Bara. "I got hung on the wall because I had brought a body that allegedly was yours" he added.

Ari looked surprised. Staring at Bara at a glance then turned on the rearview mirror, glancing at Radit who was sitting at the back.

"Sorry, Brother. Ari is always confident that Sister can take good care of herself so Ari does not ask," said Ari.

"It's okay, the most important thing is that you're back. That's enough for Brother" Radit said quickly.

There was no response from Ari.

Radit was eager to open the chat further because too many questions were raging in his mind. Where has her sister been all this time? How was the chronology of that night until he was nowhere to be found? What has he been through and why has he just returned now? All of that filled his mind. He wanted to question her but seeing a different Ari than usual mannerism made Radit hold all those questions. His sister tends to be silent, even a smile that once never seemed to disappear.

Bara berdehem thawed the atmosphere then turned on the music to reduce the awkwardness he felt in the car.

"Salp Kiran, Brother. He belongs to Ari!" ari's toilet as soon as it reached their home, at the Makarim residence. Ari held back her hand intending to go up to the third floor.

Radit squinted his eyes at Ari. "You're kidding me, Ari?"

Ari's face looks flat. "No, Brother. Not at all."

"Your lips don't shake saying that, Ari?!" exclaim Radit.

Kiran who was giving instructions to several maids to separate the suitcases was disturbed until it approached them.

"What's up, brother?" kiran asked in curiosity.

Radit did not answer. At first glance looking at Kiran with unmistakable eyes.

Unexplained, Kiran took turns to address the two men in front of her. Radit who looks upset while Ari with his flat face is against his brother's eyes. They just got into the house. Still in the living room.

"From the beginning Brother was just Ari's replacement, right? So what's wrong with those words?" ari continued without emotion.

Little Kiran so understood the direction of this conversation. But he gave space to the two men in front of him to finish the conversation between them.

"Certainly wrong. You don't deserve to say that. I'm divorced or not with her not based on your decision."

"It happens if the woman you marry is your sister. But Kiran, from the beginning she belonged to Ari. Brother should remember that. She is Ari's future wife. If the accident had not happened, we would have become husband and wife by now. Unfortunately that fateful night fell on Ari and Brother was asked by Mama only as a substitute. Gan-gan! Now, when Ari has been present, it should be that Big Brother is back at the position of Big Brother."

"Dad!!" kiran looked at Ari in disbelief. The man he knew was very reluctant even arguably afraid of Radit now dared to oppose him.

Ari glanced at Kiran softly. "I'm just fighting for you, Kiran."

"But not like this, Ari ...."

Radit held back his anger. Honestly his heart was hurt, very hurt.

"You still have a heart, Ari?" sidelines Radit with intonation made as weak as possible. He was holding back the emotions that wanted to overflow from his heart.

"Should Ari ask like that, sister? Does Big Brother have a heart if he still maintains the house after Ari returns? Brother forgot how Ari loved Kiran?"

"I don't forget, I always remember. All your actions I remember. Yang Sis did not remember if Big Brother had a sister who fought against her brother like this. I don't remember my sister ever doing anything like that."

Ari fell silent. His face changed.

"Whatever it is, divorce Kiran, brother!" cut Ari quickly stop Radit from finishing his words.

"If you don't want to?"

"Sir .., ask for anything from Ari, Sister. Ari. Any orders on Ari, brother. Ari lacin's. Just don't take Kiran from Ari, brother. Ari can't. Brother does not know what Ari has done until finally our relationship reached the point we were almost married?"

"I know."

Ari gasps.

"It all started that night, didn't it?"

"So don't know but Brother still doesn't want to divorce her?! Brother knows Ari's struggle but still dares to say you love each other?!" exclaim Ari. His voice began to rise.

"It's not a fight, it's a lie!" refute Radit.

Ari gasped while Kiran was shocked beyond measure.

"You used to justify all means to get what you want, now God is rebuking you!"

"You should have self-introduced. Do you think God is pleased with what you did to Kiran? You think with all the lies you think the fight is, you can get them all? You think everything can happen according to your will without considering God's will?"

"It's just that all this should awaken you, Ari. Why can't I do nothing get it while you don't."

Ari pegged in his place. The man was at a loss for words.

"Sister, what does that mean? What was the meaning of the lie that Brother said earlier."

Radit. He had already forgotten the existence of Kiran among them.

Kiran pulled Radit's hand, forcing the man to look at her. "What is Brother hiding?"

Radit clasped Kiran's hands together, looking at her softly. "Sorry, Kiran .... Brother doesn't want to cover forever from you. Brother just wants to cover up Ari's disgrace. I think you'll know after our relationship develops. After that, my brother will tell you everything."

"So what really happened that night, brother?"

Radit's eyes are pointing at Ari. "You want to tell it or Brother tells it?

Ari looked at Kiran nervously. Shifting his gaze then looked at the weak Radit. "Son't know everything, right? Then you understand how important Kiran is for Ari, so Ari does all that. Then do you want everything Ari made to be in vain?"

"God! Your head is it possible to be confused with a stone when it falls in a river, huh?! Didn't you hear Brother's words?!"

"Assalamu'alaikum!" a voice distracts the attention. Mama Ariana and Papa Mahesa enter the house.

Mama Ariana quickly approached Ari. "Why? I met Kiran, right? Hows it? How are you still sad?" mama Ariana cupped her favorite child's face.

"Ma ..." answered Ari. He looked at Mama Ariana with a clear face.

Papa Mahesa approaches Radit. "What was that, Dit? Why did you hear you guys fighting?" whispered Papa Mahesa.

"Ari asked Radit to ...."

"Roman!" call Mama Ariana. Radit looked at him. His premonition said if what his mother would say then was something he did not want to hear.

"Ari is back now. Then Brother can already divorce Kiran!"

Deg.

Radit and Kiran both flinched. So did Mr. Mahesa to look at his wife with a look of disbelief.
