Behind The Boss

Behind The Boss
We Fight Together

"Where do you want me to tell you where to start?" the voice was heard as well despite the long silence pausing between them.

"Tell me why you got into my room and what exactly happened that night?"

Silent again.

"I wanted to apologize to you for doing that before." Ari sighs. "Truthfully nothing happened that night."

Although his heart could guess because Radit said that Ari had lied to him but heard it straightforwardly from Ari's mouth, Kiran felt her heart was overjoyed.

"Really?" he said while looking back at Ari. Emphasize that what the man said is true.

"You're gonna be happy, right?"

"Wait a minute, I mean I never did that to you, right? Does that mean I'm a virgin?" repeat Kiran again.

Ari smiled funny. That's how Kiran is, still the same person. So proficient in managing his work but very innocent in terms of this.

"Yes, you're a virgin, Kiran. I didn't touch you then."

"Not so?"

"Yes, I wanted to do it but I still have faith. I was suddenly scared." Ari chuckles.

"That night I asked the master key at the receptionist to open the door to your room. I'm telling you you're in deep depression. As your boss, I said if I was worried you'd act rashly. I also asked the hotel to check from CCTV how you entered in a state of crying starting from Rangga's room to the elevator. They trusted me and gave me the key."

Kiran. "So why are my clothes open and I dream about marriage and doing my first night?"

Ari was silent for a moment. "The one who undressed you was one of the hotel employees because I asked for it. I said if your clothes got wet. Hmm, I wet it a little bit that time.

While the dream happened because I asked someone to hypnotize you. That's why you're unconscious. I'm just asking him to make you feel like you're doing the first night with the person in your heart."

"Hypnotized?"

"Yes. Sorry, Kiran."

"You've been planning all this since our planned departure to the city?"

"To catch Rangga wet, that's for sure. But for you, it happens conditionally. I met by accident with one of the people I knew who had that ability at the hotel and suddenly the idea came up."

Kiran looked straight at Ari. "Then did you pile up another lie when I asked you about that night? And I was easily fooled!"

"I think it's better than I'm actually fucking you."

Kiran snorts. "While I'm disappointed, I'm still grateful that you didn't do it and have been honest with me."

"Sama-sama," said Ari flat.

Kiran. "I guess you don't regret doing it?"

"Of course" I'm Ari again.

"And I'm guessing you're not ashamed to do that either?"

"It's for sure."

"Good, Ari!" Kiran chuckles.

"Why? I'm just answering you for who you are."

"Yes yes. I was wrong to ask you" Kiran said.

Ari chuckles.

For a while they pecked at each other and locked their gazes on each other.

"You changed, Ari ...."

"Many things have happened to me, Kiran. Maybe that's what's changed me." Ari glanced at Kiran at a glance. "You've changed too, Kiran. More cheerful," he added again.

"I miss you, Ari."

"I miss you too."

"Where have you been all this time? Why just go home now?"

Ari grunting. "I don't want to either, Kiran. But everything goes out of my control. At first, I just wanted to pick up your parents because according to Bowo, the friend I met the night I took that picture of you, he saw that the two people in the picture were still alive. Bowo had eaten several times in their restaurant.

Kiran sculpting.

"Somehow my car's tires deflated all of a sudden. I think they must have shot my car tyre. After that I fell into the river. Thankfully I was able to get out of the car and swim upstream, because I was sure, those people would definitely be waiting for me downstream. They wouldn't have expected that I would dive upstream. Thank goodness it was very dark that night. The lights of the residents have not yet reached into the river so I can trick them."

"So why not contact us directly? You know my cell phone number!" Kiran was enthusiastic. His chest felt tight to hear Ari's story. Guilt lingered in his heart. He understood that what happened to Ari was due to family conflict. That guy doesn't want Ari to see his Papa.

"After a hard swim, I finally fainted, Kiran. Several times I did hit the big rocks there. Maybe that's why I lost my memory."

"Yes Allah. So you ...?"

"Yes, all this time I don't remember who I am. Not remembering my origins even the events of that night. My memory came back after helping one of the children who was washed up in the river. That's where my memory finally became clear and I decided to return as soon as possible."

"And everyone here is so happy to see you like this, Ari. We all lost you."

"O, yeah. Then you? Did he lose me too?" Looking at Kiran inside.

"What question is that?! Of course I lost you."

Ari sighs. "You know Kiran. Of all those lost memories. Only your face can I remember clearly ...," said Ari Lirih, looking back at Kiran inside.

Kiran was slightly surprised then retorted staring at the two beads of Ari's eyes. I don't know why his heart rippled. But more filled with excess pity.

Chequek!

The sound of the door opening.

"Sorry, Ari. It seems like Brother has returned to the room. I'll go in first, yeah. Next time we talk again. Okay?!" pamit Kiran, immediately stepped away even though there was no answer from Ari.

"When I wanted to stop you from going into that room, Kiran. But of course, I don't deserve that. Yes, I have no right," he murmured as he looked ahead. He felt very disappointed.

After entering the room, Kiran quickly locked the door to the balcony from the inside. Closing curtains. Then lock and close the gap in the connecting door.

Ari is on the balcony right now. Kiran does not want Ari to see or hear what he and Radit are going to do or say in this room.

"What's up, brother?" Kiran approached Radit who was sitting with a lethargic face on the bed. The man's eyes reddened as he looked at Kiran.

As soon as Kiran approached and sat down beside her, Radit quickly grabbed Kiran in his arms. He hugged Kiran tightly.

"Sister?"

Radit distanced his body from Kiran, staring at the woman fixedly. "Honey .., answer honestly this question ...."

"Yes?"

"I just want to make sure. If you are told to choose now. You choose me or Ari?"

"Oh Allah, Brother .... What's that question?" peekik Kiran instantly.

"Jawab it."

Kiran looked at Radit flatly. "Of course Brother. Don't ever doubt that."

Radit hugged Kiran again. "Thank you, dear." The man started to sob.

He has been trying to hold her back since. When the request was submitted by Mama Ariana, her heart was already hurt. Not only was it due to the strange demand. But more because he finally realized that his mother's affection was really unfair to him. Since childhood, he had felt that his mother loved Ari more. Often he had to give his heart if his mother asked him to give her whatever she wanted Ari. Everything he gave. ..., wife? Unexpectedly his mother also asked him to give his wife to Ari. The tightness that had squeezed his chest was now no longer able to hold it. Making the clear circles just decay after hearing Kiran's answer.

Kiran returned Radit's embrace. Swiping the man's head which though noiseless, but from the slow stuffing that was visible from his body, Kiran could understand his state.

"Aren't you doubting Kiran because of Mama's request?" kiran urged.

"Sorry."

Kiran hugged Radit's body tighter. "Never doubt Kiran, brother. Kiran also doesn't want to divorce from Sister."

Kiran kept her body away from Radit. Staring at the man who lowered his head with a smile. "Let's fight together, brother."

Radit rubbed his wet face. Looking at Kiran inside. "Sister already has a plan. If Kiran is willing, let's do that together."

Kiran nodded with confidence.
