Visit of old friends

Tonight was different than usual. Xavier who was asleep in his place instantly opened his eyes as he sensed that there was something different around him.

And sure enough, when he opened his eyes there was a shadow that was silent beside Thea. The shadow looked at Thea who was sleeping with her calm breath.

“Hey, what are you doing?” Ask Xavier who moved out of his place. Just in case if then the figure attacked him.

Not long after, the shadow turned around with its increasingly real figure. He left Thea and approached Xavier. He lifted his hand into the air and in a few moments time stopped. The leaves stop swaying. The wind no longer felt, the water stopped and the other creatures completely stopped in their respective places.

“Goodnight, young master.” The male-voiced figure nodded respectfully at Xavier who was trying to guess who the man covering his head was with the robe was.

“Asher?” Xavier asked as the flame suddenly grew bigger and made clear his vision of the man.

“True, milord.” Asher lowered the robe that covered his head and disguised his appearance.

The man smiled kindly at Xavier who was still staring in shock.

“Finally, I can find you mr.” Asher smiled happily. I don't know how many years they haven't met.

Xavier really believes that all he sees is Asher. Because this man is indeed granted the power to stop time for creatures outside the gods.

“Find?” Xavier stared in disbelief at the large-bodied man he recognized.

“Do not be silly. Find only terms for those who are missing, not in waste.” Continue Xavier who smiled cynically at Asher.

“Please forgive me lord.” Asher immediately calmed down before Xavier with his regretful feelings.

“At that time I could not help young master. But really, for these four centuries I have been searching for my master.” Asher was full of regrets.

This man was indeed his best friend while in the kingdom of fire. He was the son of a royal advisor who always kept the balance in the kingdom of fire. The kingdom of fire is a turbulent kingdom. It consisted of powerful gods with a high domineering desire. Asher was the one who became the counterweight element in the Fire kingdom so that the gods there did not commit actions that lead to evil. He is with Rowley's father, who has been a royal adviser for more than 500 years.

“How can you find me?” Xavier asked curiously.

“I feel your energy sir. The energy that opened and seemed to touch the sky door. Who managed to unlock your curse sir?” Asher was no less curious.

Xavier did not answer. He first looked at Thea who was still asleep in the halted dimension of time.

“Dia.” Answer Xavier.

Although Xavier is not sure what makes Thea able to remove the curse, but it is because of the girl that the curse is gone.

“A common man sir?” Asher watched Thea.

In Asher's eyes, he only saw the orange energy flame that filled Thea's body but in Xavier's eyes, Thea had a blue energy flame. That was the difference between Xavier and Asher's abilities.

“Iya, an ordinary man.” Xavier chooses not to tell the truth because it might threaten Thea's safety.

Curious, Asher approached Thea. He stared at the face of the beautiful girl who was sound asleep. He brought his head closer to Thea's chest, trying to listen to the regular beating of the heart in Thea's chest cavity.

“Hey, what are you doing?!” Xavier's hand quickly pulled Asher's body away until the man was forced to stand.

“Please sorry sir, I just checked it.” Asher looked down for mercy.

“You don't need to check it. He's a regular human who helps me.” Xavier looked at Thea worriedly.

“But I'm not sure if he's an ordinary man. He can break into Godland and free your curse, certainly not because he's an ordinary man.”

“Do you remember sir, during these 1000 years, in history, there was only one human who managed to enter Godland and ascend to the water kingdom. The humans also destroyed the water kingdom until the water kingdom lost their goddess lord.”

“Then, if this woman is really just an ordinary human being, then you should be more careful. Because man is the only creature we never thought of in his mind.” It was Asher who had either warned or threatened Xavier.

Xavier looked at Thea from her place. Asher makes a good conclusion to Thea and it scares her even more that Thea is going through something bad.

“He accidentally got into Godland. He said he got lost after being chased by a pack of wolves. He also found no way home. Then, how could he possibly have a plan to destroy the four kingdoms above Godland's skies?” Xavier asked Asher.

Asher did not answer because this time he did not have an answer to his young master's question. Only time can answer their questions.

“Master, regardless of what this girl does to be able to free you from the curse, I think you should immediately return to the kingdom of fire. Royal advisers are worried if you are more in the hunt especially the possibility that they can more easily find your presence mr.”

“No Asher, I won't be back. Do you think the kingdom of fire will be fine when led by me who is labeled a king killer?"

"No, I'll only be back once I find proof that I'm innocent.”

“But sir,”

“Stop Asher. Don't force me.”

“Let's just say you never found me and for a while I will live my destiny here.” Xavier's firmness can't be prevented.

Asher looked at Xavier worriedly. He really misses his best friend. He wanted Xavier to return to the kingdom of fire and restore the kingdom of fire to his position as ruler.

"If there's nothing you want to say anymore, I hope you leave immediately."

“But, before you go, please make sure something.” Xavier slightly moved away from Asher and closed his eyes. He began to try to control his powers that had not yet fully returned.

In a few moments Xavier's body seemed to be burning, with flames surrounding it. He tried to hold something back and not long Xavier howled. Little by little the fine hairs covered his body, his face was slowly turning into a wolf and the longer his form became more and more real, now he returned to being a white wolf.

Xavier gasps. He finally managed to control his power. He's closing in on Asher.

“In my form like this, can you feel my strength?” Asked Xavier who was standing before Asher.

Asher raised his hand and touched Xavier's head. He closed his eyes feeling the energy in Xavier's body.

“No sir, I no longer feel as much energy as when master became the real master figure.” Asher answered, opening his eyes.

Xavier just grinned. He can finally control his power. At least for some time he could hide from those who might attack him.

“Come back to the kingdom of fire and don't look for me anymore.” Xavier Pinta.

"Good sir." Asher could only obey.There was no other choice for Asher other than to obey his master's request. It seems Xavier's decision has indeed been unanimous.

In a few moments his shadow slowly faded and the gust of wind was again felt. Asher is completely gone and time is no longer at a standstill until Xavier can see Thea flipping over her body and sleeping sideways facing her.

“I'll stay here, with you Thea. With the person who can accept my existence.” Lirih Xavier with a restrained smile while looking at Thea's innocent and beautiful face while asleep.
