The door that opens

After Thea regained consciousness, Eve remained with her stance that Thea and Xavier would immediately exit the water clan's pot. He did not allow these two men to linger in his settlement because he knew that maybe in a few moments, another clan would come to attack him to get Xavier out of his place.

He could feel that the longer, the greater Xavier's power. Xavier probably felt his strength dissipate as the water clan shield held him back. But, Eve could not guarantee, how much longer the shield in her clan could withstand Xavier's power and invite the arrival of those clans who intend to finish off Xavier.

Coming out from a teratak, the three people again got a look of caution from the inhabitants of the water clan.

Xavier and Luella both held onto Thea from the side due to her still weak condition.

“They will go, please stop looking at them like that.” Luella said to the few people who blocked their path.

One by one the men turned around and tried to ignore Thea and Xavier even though they did not put down the weapons in their hands.

“I'm sorry Thea, I can't help you much. I know, what I did was never worth your help.” Said Luella in between their trip.

“No need to talk like that. I help you sincerely. I'm the one who should be thanking you for still helping and saving me.” Thea Timpal. He clasped Luella's hand and smiled meaningfully.

Luella could only bow down, looking at her hand that Thea held. It felt very warm, like it brought a life in its grasp.

“So, where are you going now? Can I see you again?” Luella's question sounded pitiful.

He had not yet heard what decision they would make, whether to go to the Fire Clan or take Thea home.

“I'll treat Thea.” Xavier with confidence. He could not allow Thea to continue in this weak state.

“You will take him to the fire clan?” Luella looks so curious.

Xavier was silent for a moment, he seemed to think. He had properly considered the elder's words earlier. He was on the hunt and maybe the Fire Clan that shot Thea was hunting him. How could he possibly take Thea away to the Fire Clan?

“I'll make it home to his world.” Xavier answered with confidence.

”No Xavier, I don't want to go back to my world.” Reject Thea immediately.

Seeing Thea's rejection, Luella seemed to understand.

“You need to talk, I'm sorry.” Pamit Luella who was slightly away, gave the two people a chance to decide.

“Xavier, I don't want to go home to my world. I beg you not to return me there.” Thea repeated her rejection after they only talked together.

“Why? It's not safe here Thea. When you are with me, you will get the same attack as me. I can't let you get hurt again.” Xavier looked at Thea anxiously.

“I know. But we can hide like before. We can find the cave and just hunt in a safe place only.” Persuade Thea.

“Can't Thea! Anyway, how are we gonna hide?" Xavier refused Thea's request.

"Think yourself. You need to heal first and I can't cure you here. My power is gone. How can I protect you when someone attacks us?” Xavier held onto both of Thea's shoulders while looking at the girl intently. He tried to convince Thea.

You can see anxiety in Xavier's brown eyes.

Thea looked at Xavier's hand holding both shoulders, his firm grip as if confirming that he could not let Thea wretch.

“Then, how about you? After I leave, will you be okay?” Thea asked back with an equally anxious look.

Xavier did not answer. He removed the grip of his hand from Thea's shoulder and rubbed her face rough.

“Don't think of me. Just worry about yourself.” Xavier's words sounded desperate.

“What do you say, don't think of you?” Thea looked at Xavier in disbelief.

“And we can't pass it on Thea!” Gertak Xavier broke Thea's sentence. His breath sounded breathless because of his timelessness.

Xavier's eyes were red and teary in line with Thea's eyes which were now getting wet.

“Our world is different Thea! Your place is not here” Firm Xavier.

“You should know, I'm just a demon wrapped in a human body like you. I even killed my own father with both hands.” Xavier raised his hand before Thea, then clenched it tightly until his veins were clearly visible.

Just look at his hateful gaze on his own hands.

“Can you still think that you will be safe near me? Huh?” Xavier's voice this time sounded low but full of emphasis.

He felt that he could not allow Thea to leave but it was impossible to let Thea stay by his side. It was possible that one second later he could really lose Thea. And that Xavier couldn't imagine. He was even very afraid if that happened.

Then, what's up with him? Why would the thought of Thea leaving feel so crowded?

And right now, Thea can't answer xavier's questions. He could only brush his hair violently and then look at Xavier with an inexplicable feeling.

“Then are you sure that you can take me home?” Ask Thea after her emotions subside. There seems to be no hope for him to stay here.

“Luella will open you the way home.” Xavier deliberately raised his voice for Luella to hear him.

At that moment, Luella turned around. To be honest, without Xavier even raising his voice, he had already heard all the talk of two people who seemed to have this attachment to feelings.

“You can do it?” Thea looked at Luella full of probing.

“Iya, I can do it.” Luella said firmly.

“People in our clan, can pave the way to your world. They can go there when you want but unfortunately, they will never be able to come back.” Luella brightened with a face that changed softly.

“Sorry Thea, after we part ways, maybe we will never be able to meet again.” Firmly Luella with complete confidence.

Thea was quite surprised to hear that but of course she tried to look fine.

“Sure no problem. Just make sure that you guys will be fine.” Her voice that pretended to smile, looked at Luella and Xavier alternately.

“Okey, so when will you guys drop me off?” Ask Thea like no burden. But his voice still left a vibration that Xavier could hear and made him turn his face away from Thea.

“I can do it now.” Luella answered while taking out a bluish-colored stone from her pocket.

“Okey!” Thea immediately drew closer to Luella while wiping the rest of her tears.

He stood beside Luella who lifted the stone high and closed his eyes. The girl recited a spell that didn't know what it meant, Thea didn't hear it too much.

Slowly Luella's eyes opened. The originally clear eyeball is now bluish.

“Put into Thea's water and it will take you home to your world.” Luella said among the light that was like echoing and made her voice faint.

Thea no longer chimed in. He then walked closer to the lip of the lake and into the water. For a moment he stopped, to look at Luella and Xavier who were looking at his disappearance.

“Thank you.” Inner Thea smiled bitterly at the two men. It was only a moment that Thea looked at the two until then,

“TEEETTTT!!!!” The sound of the horn lit up his ears.
