Today Thea is back in active college. After a spring break of about two and a half months, Thea now has to wrestle back with her normal activities.
Starting from waking up in the morning, then preparing to go to work at a coffee shop. He worked there only until nine in the morning. After that he went to college and spent time there until the afternoon. At five o'clock he came home from campus and continued his next part-time job at the restaurant as an inter-message courier.
There was no definite time lag when he could rest his exhausted body. Lucky because of his young age, he has a lot of energy and like it never runs out.
As it is today, the students seem busy going back and forth in the campus area. They rushed into the classroom when their lecturer was already in the room. Thea parked her bike under a tree and ran to her class.
He saw the watch in his hand, akh shit he'll be late. He ran straight to class.
“Tok tock!” The sound of a knock on the door was greeted by a nod by a female lecturer teaching philosophy.
“In the next meeting, come earlier than me.” She said to Thea.
“Good.” Thea nodded obediently then sat down on one of the empty seats.
He immediately took out his notebook and some books that he borrowed from the library.
“In some countries, we will see the diverse beliefs they hold. Bryk and Schneider (1996) divide trust into three types namely, organic trust (organic trust), contract trust (contractual trust), and relational trust (relational trust).” The voice of the lecturer began to fill the material for the next one and a half hours.
Thea dissolved in the material conveyed.
While listening to him, he drew on his book. Dividing one page with one vertical line and one horizontal line that meet in the middle and cut each other.
In the upper right corner, he drew a lowland painting with many plants and animals living freely there. He also drew a familiar cave in his mind. So detailed that he memorized how many torches were stuck in Goa.
In the lower right corner, Thea drew a settlement with water as their source of life. Houses in the wake float on the water while other houses in the wake surround a small lake that is described as having clear water.
In the upper and lower left corner, he just drew a tree that waved in the wind while the other picture is a picture of a human with fire surrounding it. He described in detail the figure until unconsciously Thea was immersed in the picture he made.
The voice of the lecturer is like a radio broadcast that strengthens Thea's imagination until the human figure is so clear.
“Your picture is good.” Said a woman who had suddenly been standing beside Thea.
“Ah,” Thea immediately closed her book but the female lecturer immediately detained her. He thought, Thea did not listen to her material, so he approached her. But when he saw what Thea made, he smiled happily.
He took Thea's book and noticed the picture Thea made.
Thea nodded small.
“Dinamism, it's one form of trust. You just describe it or do you embrace it?” He asked Thea.
“Em, I..” Thea looks thinking. He saw people around him looking at him. Some looked at him strangely, laughed at him and some were indifferent as well.
Wait, there's one look that's familiar to Thea. The gaze of a man sitting in the corner of the classroom.
“Xavier?” muttered.
The lecturer also turned to the man who was in Thea's gaze but the man seemed indifferent. Not looking back at Thea.
Thea further narrowed her eyes, trying to see the figure more clearly.
“Dia Julian, semester student 6.” Said the Lecturer who heard Thea mutter.
At that moment the man turned his head and Thea's vision became clearer.
“Oh, Sorry. I was wrong see.” I'm Thea, when she realized that the man she was looking at was not Xavier. His face is different too.
Thea shook her head then pressed both corners of her eyes, to wake herself up.
“Your knowledge is pretty good, but don't put too much trust in your mind until you've mistaken someone unless you're in love.” Said the Lecturer whispering at the end of his sentence.
He smiled slightly at Thea. He looked at the girl's face, surprised by what she said, and he returned the book to Thea and put it on the table.
“The book you read is pretty good, look for other references in the library if you are interested in my course.” Just before he left and came back to the front.
Thea simply smiled wryly with a tense face. Once again Thea turned to the man named Julian, wondering if he really looked like Xavier. But this time he saw clearly that he was a different man and not Xavier.
“Jeez, my mind is in turmoil.” Thea muttered as she rubbed her own face.
