Brave Things

Brave Things
The Part 4 A Friend

My feelings were mixed, between happy, shocked, and awkward.

My Junior High friend, Hanji, came to our Penthouse and introduced himself as the one who wanted to apply to be my personal assistant.

This morning Jimin did say that there would be a PA candidate coming here to be interviewed by me, but I didn't expect it to be Hanji.

Just imagine, Hanji has long since broken contact with me, roughly from graduating Junior High School. Hanji had moved during the 2nd grade of Junior High and continued to study abroad, she said her mother was seriously ill.

Since then I had never heard from him, nor did I feel like thinking about him for too long because I was playing with another friend in class.

Roughly, I had even almost forgotten the existence of Hanji who used to be my best friend, until he finally stood here.

I'm confused about crashing into her arms or just shaking hands, I'm sure Hanji knows me, even though I've changed greatly from a lazy little boy showering, to an elegant mistress Park.

Hanji bowed paying respect to me who was still confused. I hurriedly reached him so as not to bow like that to me, it was really unpleasant to see him.

"Hanji, what are you doing." I screamed while trying to make her body stand up.

Hanji laughed at me, "I greet Mrs Park, good afternoon Madam." He repeated the bowing scene earlier which further upset me.

"You're nothing at all. Not funny to know." He laughed even more as I grumbled at his strange behavior.

"I'm here for an interview, please interview me."

"Of course you're welcome, you know I won't interview you." My speech.

I am grateful that the figure who came as my PA was my own childhood friend, who was there when I read that the person who came was a Chinese woman in a formal suit and heels that rang when walking.

Finding Hanji in a frog suit and sandal crocs made me feel free again like I was in Seoul.

I told Hanji that all I needed was a friend, not a PA. I told him that he would only help half of my work, not all of it.

Just accompany me when I'm not with Jimin so I don't stress this country.

Hanji has an international SIM that can get him to take me wherever I want,

he said Jimin will give him a service car tomorrow morning, so I can now go to the supermarket by myself accompanied by Hanji.

My concern about language also disappeared because Hanji could speak many languages including mandarin, I no longer know who to thank. Jimin really picked the right person for me.

"Did Jimin know you were my friend when you applied for a job?" I asked Hanji who was helping me clean the fruits in the kitchen.

"Of course, if not where might I be allowed to come here."

"Where do you know Jimin?" I'm curious too, I also don't know how Hanji lived his life after parting ways with me.

"My father worked for him in America."

"Why did your father work with Jimin?" As far as I know Hanji is rich, his father has a fairly large car repair shop in Seoul.

"Our economy was very difficult when we recently moved. I didn't even go to school and work as a cashier there." I was shocked, not expecting Hanji to go through such a difficult time when he moved. I guess he had a great time enjoying the new atmosphere as a teenager in America.

"Dad met him during a routine blood donation. Every father donor would bring me one plastic snack. Turns out Mr. Jimin was the sponsor, Lun." Continue to relax while eating the apple I was peeling in front of me.

"Then?"

He shrugged his shoulders and said, "I don't know how Mr. Jimin got dad to work with him, which I know is only that he paid my tuition until I graduated high school."

"You're going to college here, right? We're going to college together. Mr. Jimin said he'd put us on the same campus." Hanji said with a big smile.

"REally?!" Ask enthusiastically.

He nodded with a smile. I didn't expect Hanji to be with me until college.

Just imagining it makes me impatient!

"You're gonna sleep here, okay?" I asked Hanji, the day has begun in the afternoon and soon is my schedule to clean up to welcome Jimin.

"And bother the newlyweds reproducing?" He chuckled, "I live in an apartment near here, whenever you want me to come, I'll be here in 5 minutes." Further.

I hit him angrily, why did Hanji have to say itih.

"Loh right? If I'm here later you can't make out freely." Said laughing.

I fell silent, should I be honest about my situation with Hanji? The problem is he's my only friend here. My choice is not a story about who, but a story about him or not.

"Why?" Hanji seemed to be aware of my unusual gurgle.

"Get someone busy." I replied while trying to be ordinary and resumed my activities to prepare ingredients to cook Jimin dinner.

"Yes, you must be lonely." Hanji said concerned.

"We've never done it before, I'm so confused."

"After almost two months??" Ask me not to believe.

I nodded with a smile, "almost 2 months married and I'm still a virgin."

Sighing deeply, Hanji said, "I've even had abortions 2 times in Lun America." He nodded inexhaustibly.

Hanji is indeed a brave and prominent person, it feels like telling Jimin to Hanji is like remembering the massalu, when I complained to Hanji that my picket friend would not work to help me.

Hanji used to always put up when I got into trouble, he was also the place I asked my opinion when fighting with my brother. Complaining about Jimin to Hanji made me go back to being a baby ready to be bought.

"Can't be left." Hanji stood up from his seat and took my hand, "show me your sleeping bag collection."

"But we have to cook Jimin's dinner." It's almost 5 and I haven't decided what to cook, I'm afraid I won't get chased.

"Forget the food, I'll order it from a Japanese restaurant."

I was forced to show Hanji my walk in closet to him and open my pajamas.

"This Piyama Sinchan you wear in front of your husband?" Hanji asked while sliding around and checking my nightgown collection.

"Why indeed? The material is silk, very soft. Try sticking your cheek into the cloth." I really liked Jimin who bought me silk pajamas of various colors and motifs, it felt very different to the cartoon pajamas my mom bought at home.

Hanji doesn't care about me practicing rubbing my cheeks into my silk pajamas.

"What box is this?" Hanji squatted looking at the bottom where I kept the nightgowns.

"That's my wedding present, from Jimin's mother and Jimin's friends." The contents are clothes that are not worth wearing, I collect in the box because most of the clothes are transparent, lack of material or there are holes in the section is not appropriate.

Hanji took out the box and opened it, "why don't you wear this? You keep it in a dusty box!"

Just be right! If I wear it, I might freeze to death in the middle of my sleep.

"You should try it, my God, it's so pretty." Hanji unfurled some evening dresses that were quite pretty lace, if the top was not transparent and the skirt was rather long, I would wear it when Jimin was not home.

"You have the entire contents of your Victorian secret store, and you choose to wear your Sinchan pajamas? I don't understand the way you think." He said as he folded his chest hand and looked at me.

I couldn't say anything when Hanji picked me a nightgown out of the box, and told me to take a bath with the most fragrant soap in the bathroom, he also made me shave all the hair that grew other than in my face area.

The activity of styling hair never feels this exotic, seeing my reflection reflected in this transparent shirt makes me want to quickly complete my activities in front of the glass.

After I finished styling my hair, I arranged my curling iron for the dresser, and cleaned the equipment back to where it should be. I also wore the perfume Hanji had chosen before he left me in the room, otherwise he told me to wear the blue one.

The door opened and I almost fainted and found Jimin standing in the doorway staring at me.

"You're home yet?" I asked to break the silence awkwardly.

I hurriedly grabbed the outside of this damn nightgown that was unluckyly placed very far away by Hanji.

"Where's Hanji?" I asked Jimin who had entered the room, opened his watch to be placed on the nightstand near my dresser.

"It wasn't there when I came in."

"Loh, he said he wanted to order food."

"The food is on the table." Jimin came closer to me making my hair goosebumps. He stepped up and sat on the bed, taking my hand.

"I just saw this shirt of yours." Jimin fingers stroked the back of my hand gently, a small movement but made my hair stand goosebumps,

I tried to remember Hanji's message not to mess with the atmosphere and follow where Jimin was leading.

"It doesn't fit?" I'm timid.

Jimin smiled so sweetly, I could feel my ears turning red just from being given a smile by Jimin.

"It's so sweet on your body," his hand went up near my elbow, stroking it down gently. "exaggerate the warmers, you can't be cold."

After that, Jimin went to the bathroom.

I still hope after dinner there will be interesting activities that we can do, but my hope is dashed when 11 pm Jimin turns off the lights and covers me up to the neck, then he took his laptop out of the room.

I prefer apples to grapes, because they taste better in apples than in grapes hahahayyyyy
