"Let's...
"Your DNA is dead, Gama. He was dead when you left him alone without knowing who he was for years. Don't call me by that name again."
Still with an expressionless flat face, Briana put a seatbelt on her body.
"Let's take me home." Petunya again.
Gama took a deep breath. Anxiety mixed with regret, as if gnawing at his heart when he heard a long sentence that was so stifling out of Briana's lips a moment ago. So much was his desire to clutch a body that looked so thin beside him, yet, he did not have much courage to do just that.
"I'm sorry for leaving you alone." She looked down at Briana's beautiful face.
"You want my background, don't you ? If I can't take a taxi." Briana still did not respond to an apology that I don't know how many times it was heard in her ear.
"Yes I'm taking it." Reply Gama relented.
Briana turned her face, staring out the window of the car that began to drive away from the hotel courtyard. A faint smile was seen on his thin lips as he looked at Gama who looked so annoyed with his attitude, however, still obeyed all his wishes.
"Today Papa called me home. SG Group has a sizable stake in Atmaja Corporation. You can use our stock to break into Om Alfin's board of directors." Gama explained about his arrival to the apartment tonight. However, he was so upset that Briana was no longer there.
Gama muttered in annoyance.
"You can't hear my explanation. That's the old Briana, not the present." Angry Sung.
Briana was still waiting for the man who kept muttering to her side, to explain.
"Do you want to clear ?" Briana folded her hands on her chest.
"So gini, Papa and Mama let me marry you. And the shares in Atmaja Corporation will all be yours. That way you can get into that company without having to make yourself a bait for that jerk." Gama Clearly.
"Lied !" Briana laughed heartily. "Then the cute little girl named Clara, where do you want to put her, hm ? That girl of your parents' choice, is so much better than me, and it's impossible that your Papa and Mama have this ridiculous thought." After uttering a sentence that made her uncomfortable, Briana turned her head out the window of a car that continued to drive on the streets of Jakarta. The street that seemed to start looking quiet, he looked at it with beautiful neutrals.
Gama was silent. The long sentence that just slid from Briana's lips is indeed true. But, he and Clara both have people they love. And they also agreed not to be bound by matchmaking. Follow where destiny will take their story.
"Both my parents, or Clara's parents have never forced the match, Briana. Clara and I both have people we love. I loved you a long time ago, and Clara knew about it. What's with this still can't convince you to agree to this ?" Gama pleaded.
"Why did you just come now ?" Briana asked, ignoring the sentence that had just slid from Gama's lips. However, his gaze still continues to enjoy the flickering night lights that adorn the outskirts of the Jakarta city street.
