Chapter 57. Families

"Pardon us for hiding things from you. And thank you for not making Gama hate us." Said Gerri again.

Briana was still staring at the middle-aged man before her with her lips tightly closed. He was confused what to say about all this. Wanting to hate everyone was unfair to him, but he really could not do it.

He wanted to hate this whole family who seemed to be unable to accept his presence in Gama's life, but for some reason when an apology was said from Kevin, his desire slowly faded.

Sasa grabbed Briana's hand, then clasped her best friend's hand tightly. He knows his best friend will definitely feel uncomfortable with this situation, for that he hopes his hand grip is able to give a little comfort to his best friend.

A few minutes passed, there was still no reply from Briana about the apology that had just been expressed by Gerri. The girl was still keeping her mouth shut as if there was something she wanted to convey, yet, it was still stuck in her heart.

"We don't ask you not to be angry about what we've done in the past. But one thing you should know, we want you to be fine from now on." Seeing the beautiful girl in front of him still silent, Keyla chimed in. She knew the girl sitting quietly in front of her husband was uncomfortable with what was going on between them.

Briana just nodded. Well, he'll try to understand everything Gama's parents did to him in the past. For later, let it be dealt with later. After all, his relationship with Gama still hasn't gone far, so he still has plenty of time to ask the Gama family a lot about what happened in the past. What their views were on him, and whether they had truly accepted him well into the future.

A few moments while they chat in the luxurious family room, Anggun and Robby step into the house followed by Bram and Rosa. Family lunch or dinner is usually done in the luxurious house of the Sanjaya family.

Since there were many things they would talk about today regarding Gama's plan, they finally decided to have a family lunch together at home.

"Gerri asked him to go to the company first, sister." Answer Keyla.

"Why ? Isn't what I'm going to talk about today the problem ?" This time Bram asked his sister.

"You know what Gama's attitude is, Bram. He definitely won't give us any free time to talk comfortably with Briana." Answer Keyla.

"Fruit will not fall far from the tree." Mumbled Bram.

Keyla laughed amusedly, while her husband could only snatch annoyed with the sentence just spoken by the sister.

"Udah ah, you never get along. It's old too." Rosa chimed in on the conversation.

Keyla just kept laughing. The woman who had never been eaten that age, just continued to show off a sweet smile that made her husband more anxious.

Briana could only stare at the people in the room with a warm heart. Why ? Well, why do people who look this good, have the heart to keep him trapped with people like Dion and Risa.
