Broken Sword's

Broken Sword's
Ch. 16: More Familiar with Baramun

Capturing more than a dozen sharp-mouthed ants, Fang finally remembered what the name of this type of ant was. Army ants! The existence of army ant habitat is usually found in forests or locations far from the existence of human settlements.

Back with the army ants, Fang funny himself saw the demon who usually looks arrogant now looks more like a disabled homeless. "Slightly sore. But it's better than your wound rotting? Hold on a minute."

Baramun did not know there are types of small insects that can be used as materials to sew wounds. "What's your name?"

Fang's hand stopped in midair, "I haven't introduced my name yet? oh, Fang. My name's Fang!"

Baramun daydreamed, then the pain of being bitten jolted, grimacing in pain but Fang's hands were very deft. Tear wounds on Baramun's face were covered.

"I don't collect enough ants. In a moment, I'll search again" On the torn shoulder, dozens of ants are all worn. Fang walked towards the ant nest again and picked up more army ants.

Fang's painstaking work looks ugly. The ants that were hung to cover the wound looked irregular. The foolish Fang grinned, "Your injuries must have left an ugly scar. But you are a Devil. These scars add to the power of gloom and sadism! Pretty cool."

"I'm being ugly?" A pair of Baramun's eyes turned red. He had yet to find a partner, if it did leave a trail of unsightly injuries, wouldn't this hinder him from regenerating!

Scratching your head in shame. Fang took one of Baramun's hands and sat closer. "How old are you?"

Baramun's eyebrows knitted dissatisfied. This child actually perceived him as an elder. "Don't interfere in my business."

"A twenty years old?" Fang's guess is on target. Baramun is a young demon. "Your face is so rare." It looked old from its real age, but Fang did not dare to say blatantly or this demon would cry for real.

"You're not a real kid, are you?"

Fang did not deny nor did he answer. Baramun who kept waiting pulled out his hand which was grasped was annoyed. "I was wounded for coming to arrest you and handing it over to my king."

"Kuro..He still looks like a kid?"

Baramun was getting curious about Fang. "How do you know?"

Chuckling full of mystery, Fang picked up a twig. Writing in the ancient language of the devil. Baramun's eyes were round in disbelief. Fang had previously written a picture for Kuro's identity, and now this boy had instead drawn their group's identity.

"I also know that you will seize the lower regions. But you know, it'll end in failure."

"Imust be!! My king has been working on this plan for many years and has matured every step of the way so far. You'll make it!"

Fang was undaunted and kept lying. "No. You're gonna lose. The witch you will kill when renewing arai is invincible and will kill Kuro."

How long will it be when the demon lord is reborn? Thousand years? millions years? The group of demons who lost their king would become weaker by more than half the strength.

Baramun. "Really?"

"Then bring your king to meet me. I have a better plan. Rather than declaring war, wouldn't it be easier to coexist?"

***

Every day after Fang's parents went plowing the fields, Fang would meet Baramun who had gradually recovered. Reading the minds of these young demons was very easy. Wonder also why it can be a trusted general and accomplice Kuro.

Baramun who was stamped as a stupid and naive demon now lived inside a medium-sized cave. Lately, Baramun has been used to eating human food, and has always consumed every meal Fang brought him.

"The heads of these ants can be removed. The condition of your feet, can it be used to walk?"

Baramun's leg was broken and his bone was not fully attached. Baramun shook his head, his injuries had only partially recovered.

Fang's clear eyes narrowed.

"Thank you." Baramun eats in bitterness. His stomach never ate enough after coming into the lower region.

"By the way, your demon group still lives in the Droid Valley? Better to move. A swordsman from the upper region will bring hundreds of people to rob you."

Baramun wondered, "this news is concrete? Our place is very hard to find and also many traps are attached."

"Sometimes humans are more terrible than the devil himself. Why do you think hundreds of people should come?"

Baramun answered without thinking. "To take more of our treasures?"

Fang patted Baramun's head, "Stupid base!" Fang no longer held back. This demon is more suited to silence. Once he opened his mouth, his squatting IQ looked selfless.

"La, then why come with so many people?"

Great, your creation is so stupid. How can you make him one of the greatest generals in history! Fang complained to look at the vast sky.

"The swordsman I told you was named Albert. Direct descendants of pure-blooded nobles. His parents also had a close relationship with the king who was presiding at this time."

After the robbery occurred, the group of demons increasingly held a grudge. Unable to defeat humans living in the upper or middle regions, they switched to killing weak humans who were not caught up. The lower region was completely destroyed. The pool of blood became a regular spectacle for more than a year as the war unfolded.

"The reason many people are being carried away, didn't you say that there are many hidden traps in the Droid Valley? People were used as stepping stones, leaving a dozen of the strongest people to become the ultimate owners of the looted loot."

"Humans like you are more suitable to be said to be savages!"

Fang was not offended.

Then he began to change the way Baramun looked. "Will but not of all men be so cruel. Examples of humans living in the lower regions. We integrate and interact in peace and selflessness. Not because we have no divine power in our bodies, but because to avoid the outbreak of civil war."

"You also know how hard it is to have children here. We must not go extinct, the world order will be skewed if it is filled by the strongest people alone to stay."

"You're persuading me to stop my king from taking over the underworld?"

This demon is not entirely stupid. Fang glanced lazily at Baramun's face. "There is no need to kill or expel us. You can stay with us!"

"Huh?! Can it be like that?"

Patting the dirty piece of clothing as it sat on the ground, Fang said "Tomorrow we continue the conversation again today. My father and mother will return from plowing the fields."

"Nonsense. Fangs! Finish this conversation first."

"Fang?"

Calls are heard from inside the house. Fang breathed a sigh of relief, fortunately he immediately returned before Gana looked for him.

"It's me."

"Where have you been? Why not stay at home like you said?" Gana railed, Fang scraped her ears listlessly.
