Broken Sword's

Broken Sword's
Ch. 27: Crybaby

Said to be a fat creature, Fang flattened his lips. Gana who did not get a rebuttal or complaint from her son became awkward. It seems that he has offended the family ancestor.

It's true. Fang ignored Gana as if not seeing or hearing her father's voice. Eat in silence and stop when the bowl of rice runs out. Not replying when asked by Aira and returned to the room to do homework.

"Do you do anything else, huh?!" Aira pinched her husband's waist growled.

Gana also did not know that this became so grimacing. Peering into the room, Fang did not turn his head. Sitting on her son's small bed, Gana tried to open the topic but Fang still did not say anything.

Tomorrow is the same. Fang talks to Aira, but Gana threatens not to drop Fang off at school and her son turns to knock on Baramun's door.

"Take me to school."

Baramun looked at Gana who was catching up and then carried Fang to ride on his shoulders. "All right."

Aira saw her husband back, "Which one?"

"I'm wrong!! Fang doesn't want me as his father anymore." Because the old father was crying.

Luhan who would feed the chickens in his yard eavesdropped. Ckck, his body alone is big but still crybaby.

Baramun walked with wide strides. Arriving in front of the school gate, Fang yelled at Juan to wait for him.

"Who brought you back?" Juan has met Gana. "Your brother?"

"Me and him, is there any resemblance? I'm more handsome!"

Arriving at class, the children sat on the bench and discussed yesterday's events. Finding that Fang had arrived, none of them dared to speak. Anxious to be stared at directly, the girl sitting at the front desk shifted the table so as not to block the road.

Juan who was used to being shunned did not feel the difference just Fang, snorting, he sat in his place. Half slamming the cloth bag containing the book and the dining box, Fang ignored all pairs of eyes.

The class guardians are coming. The woman who spoke meekly yesterday today said in a firm tone. Criticizing each child who mocked classmates, stating if yesterday happened back in his class, immediately report to the teacher or picket teacher and not vigilante.

Fang admitted that his homeroom teacher was still soft-hearted. Knowing that he was the one making a fuss, the teacher did not get angry at him, instead reminding the children in the class to raise awareness to look after each other and make friends.

Maya who had just shifted the table turned her head to look directly at Fang's round eyes. The beautiful girl smiled apologetically and Fang did not take a dizzy.

Children are a plain piece of paper. As long as the adults remind and give direction to the right path, children will grow up to be good individuals. Science is important, but if it is not accompanied by free adab only.

The first class is filled to discuss the characters. Even the most stubborn child finally realized that his mischief could bring big problems for himself and his parents. "Teacher, I'm gonna change!"

The classroom guardian is happy, not in vain to talk at length until the throat feels dry.

"You weren't picked up?" Juan looked for the whereabouts of the cow cart belonging to the Fang family and did not see the figure of Fang's father.

Fang shook his head. He's in a cold war, not alone with Gana. "I'm going home by myself."

Gana who will come to her son

"Fang.."

Seeing Gana standing slightly hidden behind the school's fence wall, Fang turned around and entered the school.

Hamid who helps a lost child is hit by Fang. Touching his sore nose, Fang's eyes twinkled.

His school with Hamid's school is in the same complex. Plans to find time to meet Hamid, accidentally meeting him now.

"Sister!"

Hamid smiled, "Hello, we meet again."

"Not yet!! Brother, will you accompany me to get picked up again?"

Juan who was standing in the middle looked at Gana then at Fang who was hand in hand with a stranger. "Uncle, I'll go home first. Excuse me."

***

Baramun who was called Gana came out and saw Fang's father look withered.

"Sorry, can you pick up Fang? He, he." My son won't come home.

Gana who was panting wiped away the tears in vain.

Baramun was shocked when adults like Gana cried. The devil who did not know about the emotional meaning nodded and hurriedly locked the door of his house.

"I'll pick you up. You stop crying." It is so old, why it is easy to shed tears.

Gana handed over the cow harness and walked home while wiping away the tears and pulling the snot from flowing.

Before reaching home, Luhan mocked Gana. "You're past your forties, not ashamed to cry so huh?"

"You don't understand. That boy is half of my flesh. He hates me, he probably doesn't want to have a father like me."

Luhan felt guilty. "Stop crying. Fang is still a child, naturally sulking. He'll forget and everything will be back to the way it was."

"really?"

"really. Everything I said was true!"

***

Hamid was pleased. Fang constantly told her about her childhood. Imagining that her parents were still alive could it be that she would be just like Fang?

Fang's two claws hugged Hamid's left arm, peeking at the young man's face which continued its gentle expression. "Sister, are you going to continue your education to school in the upper secondary region?"

"You know?"

Fang showed off a row of white teeth. "That brother's hair! It's from the literary academy, the only one in the middle region."

The literature school was established for talented children whose abilities were not very good and in the future could work as ordinary staff. The wealthy living in the lower regions were also given the opportunity to enroll, adding to the popularity of the literary academy.

Fang tiptoed and Hamid accommodated, closing his ears to hear Fang's whisper.

The more he heard the stranger the expression on Hamid's face. Fang who had planted the seeds of suspicion changed the topic and told her something else.

Baramun who was sitting on the ox cart complained over the heat above his head. Binding the bridle on a special daycare, Baramun could see Fang's figure acting spoiled.

"Here he laughed a lot but at home his father was made to cry. Little monster."

"Isn't that your brother?" Hamid who was guarding Fang from falling pointed to Baramun who was standing in front of the school gate.

Fang took off Hamid, "my brother came home. After you leave, let's meet again in the intermediate region!"

Not taking Fang seriously, Hamid, who was planning on training his advanced level of magic, met Fang ten years later. Short memories that are no more than a day combined are one of the warm memories Hamid misses the most.

Baramun flicked Fang's face. "Your father was made to cry, you cold-hearted son."

Fang covered the flushed part of the forehead. "My dad's crying?" Fang thought Gana was just pretending! Did his father cry for real?!

"Come on, come on, get home!"
