Broken Sword's
Ch. 38: Pill Seller

"Is this boy screaming so loud and still moody? Open the door." Kuro ordered the loyal guards to come forward.

"Don't.." New Baramun will commemorate, seeing the bouncing guard become silent.

Not one or two guards, Kuro himself made a three-step retreat before successfully opening Fang's room door.

"Well, is that a witch?!"

The demon king laughed. His eyes flashed with calculation, so it would be easy to choose the rewards he wanted.

Baramun who was plagued by Fang's emotions glanced at his master slightly dissatisfied. This situation is not suitable to be petty.

All day shut himself up, Fang came out after spilling all the tightness in the heart. Fang's two hands bled from not stopping hitting everything in the room. The servant in charge of cleaning the room made a note in the heart, this human could not be provoked.

"Can I practice?"

Looking towards the sound, Kuro who was about to pull the arrow stopped his movement. Baramun who was not far away thrust his bow and arrow.

Kuro shifted and gave Fang a place.

Standing facing the target for two hundred meters, Fang closed one of his eyes as he pulled the bow strings. Stretching out the fingers, the arrow shot straight and hit the target.

Clapping his hands, Kuro liked this human even more. The Fangs who looked like they were still children were no worse than the elite bodyguards he trained.

"Good coin. You want to go hunting?"

Continuing to pick up the arrows and shoot at the target, Fang stopped after all the arrows had been exhausted. "No way."

Fang's refusal did not offend Kuro at all. The demon king instead grinned, his sharp-fingered hand outstretched to play the strand of hair that slipped from Fang's hairband.

Shrugging his disrespectful hand, Fang turned to return to his room. In the middle of the road he stopped, turned around and gave conditions for Baramun to go with him.

The demon general who stood between the king and his friend, looked briefly at Kuro then chased after Fang who was starting to move away.

"Corn, forget who the master is!"

The Baramun residence hall did not have much furniture. There was only one tea table and four armrests on each side of the table. Pulling up the chair, Fang asked. "Where are my mother and father buried?"

Yesterday the boy cried sadly. Do humans like to bring up painful things? Baramun looked at Fang to wait for a response but Fang looked back.

"Tomb your mother in the village. But your father doesn't have a tombstone." Baramun who made sure Fang did not cry, continued "But at the ancestral hall there is a plaque as a way to be remembered. You can pray in front of the plaque"

Fang, who knew everything, gave Baramun a red pill. "Take it. For you."

The red pill inside the small glass bottle was handed over. Baramun opened the bottle cap, his eyes gushing in disbelief. "This is what you're perfecting?"

"As I say. This potion pill will bring back the long undeveloped horn on top of your head."

Baramun who believed completely that the pill potion Fang had given him was the original medicine, without hesitation swallowed the pill. Run into the room, pull out the frosted mirror from the drawer and gasp. Horns growing!!!

Fang who finished watching Baramun's stupidity interrupted the devil's pleasure. "But I'm asking for payment."

The smile on Baramun's face was reduced by half, "isn't this a deal when I brought the ox cart to drive you to the classmate's house?!"

Without changing his expression, Fang asked in a low tone "so you won't pay?"

"pay. I'll pay! How many?"

Crying his golden shed was drained by more than half, Baramun who now fell into poverty stared at each of Fang's newly purchased items like looking at pieces of meat taken from his own body.

Who would have thought that the pill potion that Fang refined was so expensive!

Kuro who knew Fang was capable, ordered a pill potion to ease the pain on his divine root that was injured while practicing.

Under the promotion of Baramun and Kuro, the demon officials and generals one by one find Fang.

Later,

The news of the human child who had fallen into a coma and woke up and was a genius who was able to refine a pill potion had become a warm conversation among the demon race. A group of demons with money sent a letter for Fang to receive, hoping that Fang would accept their request to sell his pill potion.

It was just that Fang who was unwilling to pursue wealth did not refine medicine to meet the demand. If he was free and in a good mood, Fang would pull the furnace he bought from the proceeds of selling pills to Baramun and do a closed distillery.

The queue of buyers would be delighted as Fang refined the medicinal herbs, praying for their order to be made.
