Broken Sword's

Broken Sword's
Ch. 28: Visiting Juan Part 1

In order to maintain the image of the family head, Gana had already stopped crying before Fang came home. Splitting two pieces of wood with an axe, Gana's sweaty body turned her back to the entrance.

Fang hugs his father's leg, sneering inwardly about Baramun talking nonsense about Gana crying. A tough guy like this, could he cry just from being ignored by her? It's improbable.

"Yah~" This spoiled tone. Fang looked straight at Gana's expression.

Lowering the axe, Gana pulled Fang's collar. Carrying his son in arms, "hasn't you been angry with me anymore?"

Fang giggled, amused as his stomach was tickled. "Not angry. Oh, my geez, geliiii"

A week after the second meeting, Hamid left the lower region. The special train from the academy picked up over twenty new students, be it male or female, all very much looking forward and wanting to live in the middle world.

Leaning lazily, Hamid did not come together or exchange talks. His brain kept twisting Fang's words before the boy went home. Touching the ornaments of his parents' relics that he deliberately wore as a clothes hanger decoration, Hamid counted until the train left the arai.

Warm currents soared drastically. Hamid closed his eyes, a charming smile made people who saw thought Hamid was also happy to go to the academy.

"Hamid, are you also happy that you can go to the academy? May we share the same dorm." The taller young man from Hamid was embracing the shoulder, "heard there was no food to eat in the middle region, we could only rely on the supplies that were brought in at this time and then have the courier send the goods."

Hamid is not flinching.

"Hamid? Oh, looks like this kid's asleep."

No one knows, Hamid is currently following the warm currents that surge on his body. The sense of hearing is more sensitive, Hamid can know what people are talking about in the car behind or in the front.

****Sister, would you like to hear something interesting?****

****This thing belongs to Elf! It is usually given to their partner as a dowry. ****

****Sister, you said this was your parents' legacy. Could it be your father or mother elf****?

Hamid did not consider what Fang said to be true. Assuming the boy is making an interesting story to grab his attention. But curiosity brought Hamid's footsteps into the library.

standing in the hallway of an old book that almost no student ever visited, Hamid searched about the history of elves and objects that could identify the treasures of the Elves.

The first page to the sixth, Hamid laughs at his stupidity for being tricked, but the seventh page makes Hamid's eyes go wide.

Mixed elf heredity traits.

Hamid opened the sleeves of the clothes, a birthmark that he thought was an ordinary seal to unlock the legacy of science passed down by his parents.

Hamid's heart beats. Get out of the library with a pile of old books. God knows how much he loves books, but the last five days Hamid can say he has turned into a maniac.

Without sleep, constantly open the book to read and stop when the door of his room is knocked. The teacher reminded him that the departure schedule was today, asking Hamid to turn off the lights and go to sleep.

Baramun. The days spent helping the Fang family raise chickens and farm were over. The harvest has arrived and the wages are paid. There was no work to do, Baramun bought a fishing rod and tried fishing upstream.

One or two of the parents who passed by greeted. Baramun who did not know who they were still returned the greeting. It was hard to ignore, the villagers were very friendly.

Vaporizing wide. Almost an hour Baramun installed a fishing rod and no fish had eaten the hook. Getting bored, Baramun's eyes felt heavy.

The bell is tied to a moving fishing rod. The awake Baramun almost threw himself into the river. Pulling a fishing rod, finally a medium-sized fish was caught.

"Why?"

Fang is now eight years old. Three years on, the boy is still fat. The difference is that no one can lift it or carry it anymore.

"I want to go to Tui village. Juan had been ditching for two days and only today did the teacher say Juan's father was sick."

Baramun refused. He does not like to interact with humans. Although the scent of blood was not as tempting as the first time he arrived, still the thirst was still there.

"Not interested. Go alone."

"I will tell you the method of growing horns faster. You don't want to?"

Fishing line falls. Baramun grabbed Fang's hand, "Which way is Tui's village?"

Finally Fang borrowed a bovine cart at home. Gana who intends to deliver Fang at first asks Baramun to be careful on the road and better stay overnight when the day is too late to go home.

"Sorry to trouble you. Suddenly Buwin asked me to help him deliver all the grain to the county town."

Baramun waved lightly, "Fang and I are familiar, you don't have to be pensive."

The journey from the villages of Noik and Tui is not so smooth. The road to Tui village was steep, the rough rocks almost toppled the wagon if only Baramun could not deftly go down and hold the side.

"Leave the wagon for the teahouse we just passed. If you keep on being forced, your family's cow could break a leg."

Fang nodded. His face was pale from motion sickness, coming down and spitting, Fang hugging his stomach, everything he had eaten earlier this afternoon was wasted all!

"It's a drink first." Baramun bought a jug of cold tea for Fang. Drink a few sips, the nausea is suppressed and Fang runs lethargic.

Juan who swept the house was shocked when Fang appeared. "Ka, you! Why come here!"

Bringing Fang in, Baramun refused and chose to look at the sea view. "I'll sit by the beach."

Fang who was limp, asked Juan to pour water. "I didn't know it would be this far and exhausting for a single trip. Your legs are stronger than a cart puller leg!"

Hitting a tense calf, Fang looked at the sun that was starting to sink. "It took me four hours to get there. Tomorrow I'm back, let me and Baramun stay."

Juan scratched his head. "But my house is narrow. Where do you want to sleep? There's only one room and there's already a father and brother sleeping in it."

"This can also. Spread the cloth as a base and lend a pillow."

Juan reflecting. Seeing that Fang did not see any disgust around his house, Juan agreed and went into the room.

The voice of the man coughing inside made Fang's forehead constrict. Juan's father must have been so sick that Juan had to ask permission not to go to school.

"Have your father seen a doctor?" Fang asked as Juan brought two blankets and two pillows from inside the room.

Juan shook his head, "there are no doctors in the village and the doctors outside are unwilling to come to Tui village. For the sick, we just have to walk alone."

"I brought a bull cart! Tomorrow morning, let's take your father for a check-up with the doctor."

Juan's eyes were reddened. "OKAY. Thanks Fang."
