CEO Seed
Chapter 23

"Mama mending Mama's plan to marry me to Kania was canceled, deh."

Bram and Hanum immediately stopped their hands who were scooping food after hearing the words of their children who were considered inappropriate.

It could be that he had done, now met with his person instead asking to cancel the plan that had been neatly arranged by Hanum. Plan to get Kania and Devan married.

"Why? You've done so you must take responsibility." Bram.

"I don't have to marry her, do you, Pa? After all, Shaka has been guaranteed education until college later. Despite having to pretend there is a race and all sorts of things in order to give Shaka good facilities. What else?" devan replied casually.

Hanum rose in blood hearing Devan's reply which sounded carefree, without feeling guilty, and as if it had no sin whatsoever.

"Have you not thought about Kania's life all this time, Devan? You're good at just putting out the seeds and it's over, you think you're done with it. As for Kania, have you ever thought about how she lived after what you did? Pregnant, supporting her son alone. Not to mention that she was ostracized by society or maybe her parents."

"Ma, she's not a good woman. I met him at the club. And yesterday I saw him hugging a different man than the man I used to see with Kania."

"Who knows he's his sister, or his brother. You don't know. Don't just accuse without proof."

"Have, already." Bram mediates. Their originally quiet breakfast show was made a mess by Devan.

Hanum's mood is broken. It feels upset to be alone with his son who wants to run away from responsibility.

"Devan, Papa never taught you to run away from responsibility. Do your duty to Kania which you should have done long ago. After all, would you be willing if your son called someone else father? To his own father he called Om. You willing?"

Devan was stunned to hear Bram's words. There is also a point in what his father said. From the beginning, Devan was not willing if Shaka called others by the name of father while he called Om.

Regardless of how his mother is, Shaka is still his son. Meat blood.

"That's it. Free talk to Devan, Pa. Ants across the ocean he can see, but elephants in the eye patch are invisible to Devan." Everyone looked at Hanum questioningly. What did he mean by just now.

"She met Kania at a nightclub and said that Kania was not a good woman. But he forgot that he also came to the nightclub so that he could meet Kania. If that's the case, how is she different from Kania, Pa? Neither is good but do not want introspection. Never mind. Papa if you want to go carefully. Mama's going to the room. Not*****for breakfast."

Hanum immediately moved from his seat without anyone daring to hold back Hanum's footsteps. If the queen mother has sulked, anyone must submit.

The breakfast of Kania and Shaka this morning was different. Now, in the midst of them there is Tristan who breaks loneliness.

Shaka who just knew Tristan yesterday is very familiar. Indeed, the child easily familiarizes himself with anyone. Therefore Kania must take care of it with extra.

Fear Shaka is familiar with people who intend evil on others. Abductions, like.

"When Shaka grows up, Shaka wants to be a pilot like Om Tristan." Shaka said cheerfully while feeding a spoonful of rice into his mouth.

Kania laughed a little. "Aamiinu. Then what should Shaka do?"

"Student learning."

"Smart."

Kania and Tristan chuckled at Shaka's reply.

A moment later, Shaka's school pickup car has arrived. It has been one week since Shaka joined the school car because Kania had to find a job and until now no one has accepted her to work.

"Shaka's smart, Ma'am."

Kania nodded in agreement with Tristan's statement. Just yesterday they met, but there are many things that both of them tell us. Including about Shaka's luck.

But there are things they haven't talked about. It's about their parents. And also what happens so that Kania can get pregnant and be expelled by their own parents.

"We're going home yuk, ma'am."

Not Kania wouldn't. Kania is very anxious. But Kania is still afraid that her father has not forgiven her even though it has been five years.

"Bak's scared, Deck. Mbak is afraid they cannot accept Mbak back. Mistake is huge." Kania looked down sad. Her tears fell when she remembered her parents.

"We haven't tried it yet, Ma'am. We'll take Shaka. Who knows if you can get lost if you see Shaka. Because only the father who has not been able to accept Mbak Kania. When mom, I often see you crying in your room while holding a picture of Ma'am."

Kania's heart was increasingly slashed to hear about her mother who continued to cry.

"If you bring Shaka, Mbak is afraid Shaka will see you angry later. That's not good for Shaka's development."

"We'll try, Ma'am. Let me take Shaka if you're still angry. But hopefully not. May you melt with Shaka."

Though still hesitating, Kania nodded her head. And that was a happy smile on Tristan's lips.

They plan to go home in a week to adjust Tristan's flight schedule which began to be crowded lately.

"Actually, what happened back then, Ma'am? No one's mom and dad want to talk about the day."

Kania's eyes stared at the array of rose pots whose flowers were blooming. Remembering the events of that night, it was the same as opening up his old wounds.

The wound has not dried up completely, but it reopened after his encounter with Devan.

"That night, Mbak's ex-girlfriend named Roni took away her parents' money which was the result of selling rice fields. His mother cried to Mbak to ask Mbak to look for Roni. Eventually Mbak came to the night entertainment venue, which Mbak knew Roni often came there. But it wasn't Roni who I found. Precisely Mbak get brazen treatment from men who do not know Mbak. He was rude, hurt Mbak, and thought Mbak was like a woman of the night because after doing that he left some money in Mbak's bag."

Tristan's hands clenched tightly at Kania's explanation. I don't accept that her sister was treated like that.

"Where is Roni? And, do you know who the guy who did that is?"

"Roni's dead in the accident. And, yeah. I have met that guy again. And it turns out, he was the son of the one who gave the scholarship to Shaka. Complicated, huh?" Kania laughed a little. Smiris. His life path is so winding.

"Where is he, Ma'am? Let me kick him."

"Not necessarily, Tan. Even though he himself wanted to kill him. It's all been the destiny. The bitter sweetness has been living alone for five years. After all, keep your good name and the airline you work for. Don't dirty your hands for things like that."

"But it's not fair, ma'am. He can live free. While Mbak Kania has to bear everything himself. The scorn of people, at the same expulsion of Father. It's not fair, Mother."

"Well and not, it depends on how our hearts feel, Tan. Heavy indeed, but now Mbak surrounded by people who love Mbak. There's Shaka, you and_"

"Mas Rama?" Kania's speech stopped because Tristan interrupted him quickly.

Hearing the name of Rama mentioned, Kania looked down embarrassed. Her cheeks flushed. Kania poked her lips withstanding a smile.

"Mas Rama is amazing, Ma'am. I'm very grateful to him for taking care of Mbak Kania and Shaka so well."

Kania agreed. "He's really nice, Tan. Until Mbak does not know how Mbak should reply. All you can do is reciprocate her feelings, Tan."

"How far along is your relationship?"

"If he says dating, I don't think it's appropriate at this age, Tan?" Kania chuckled slowly. "But we do have plans to be more serious. Only Ma'am is not ready if you have not received an apology from father and mother. Mbak also still doubts whether the Rama family can accept Shaka and Mbak's past."

Tristan nodded in understanding. He knows how Kania feels. It's not easy to step up if the past keeps looming.

Not everyone can also accept Kania's past. Regardless of how good they were to behave in front of Kania. Your face and lips can lie. But not with the heart.

Even today, what is sincere and what is not is difficult to distinguish.
