"Devan! What the hell, you!" Kania snapping. Dislike Devan saying that he is Shaka's father.
Devan just glanced casually. "Why?" tanyanya lightly. "Stop being selfish. Shaka is like this because you never say who his father is," continued Devan who made Kania silenced a thousand languages.
Yes, Kania admitted that this was all her fault. Not telling who Shaka's father really is and having this effect.
Even if he was a child, he must also feel tired because of the question that never got an answer. The difference is, a small child will not know how he expresses that feeling other than with anger.
"Who do you think I'm like this for? You, Devan!"
Devan breathed out slowly. The more he answered Kania's words, the more trouble would run out. It's not Shaka school where the two are to talk about the past.
"That's it. I'll take care of everything." Devan immediately carried Shaka who was staring at Devan and Kania with a confused look.
Not yet out of the room Miss Karen, they met the parents of Kevin, the child who got hit Shaka.
Renata, Kevin's mother looked at Kania and Shaka with anger. "This is what's called Shaka? And you're his mother?" point Renata at Shaka and Kania.
"Condition your hand before I break it" Devan said with emphasis. Didn't like to see Renata pointing at her son like that.
"Please! I'm not scared. And you, Shaka's mother." Show it to Kania. "Teach your child to do good. Enough of you behaving badly until you get pregnant out of wedlock, don't let your child imitate your behavior."
It's like there's thousands of knives that are hitting Kania's heart. It hurts to hear others judge their past. They had no idea how retrained Kania was from her past wounds.
Kania wiped the tears that almost fell. He did not want to look weak in front of others. Especially Devan.
"Sorry, dear mother. Maybe I'm not a good person. But I never taught my son to be unkind to others. My son couldn't have hit his mother's son if there wasn't any problem. It's a kids thing, Mom. Did you ask your own mother's son why Shaka hit him?"
"Don't teach my ass, yeah. My son is a good boy. He can't be looking for anything. Your son is bad."
"Enough!" Devan snapped loudly. The commotion that occurred in front of Bu Karen's room was already the attention of the guardian students who were waiting for their children who were still in the classroom. "What do you want?" devan asked Renata. There was no friendly face.
"I want him to take responsibility for my son's treatment." Renata pointed at Kania. "Also Shaka was expelled from this school. Otherwise, I will sue this school and bring it to the path of law."
Kania was about to fight back, but Devan immediately held him back. "Please clap if that can happen."
Devan pulls Kania by the hand and takes Kania and Shaka, who are still in her arms, away from the school. Their departure from the front of the teacher's room was accompanied by the cynical gaze of the other students' guardians.
Kania can only duck. While Devan did not care and continued to continue his steps.
Previously, Devan had already told Ms. Karen and the principal would resolve the matter immediately. Devan just needs time to talk to Shaka and Kania.
Kania pulls his hand which is still in Devan's grasp after they get to the car. "Don't touch me!"
Devan sighed softly. Opens the car door and places Shaka in the rear passenger seat. Closing the door slowly and then turning his eyes towards Kania who turned his face away, reluctant to look at him.
"Come in! We need to talk. Don't ask for force. If you don't want to go in, let me go with Shaka."
Hearing that, Kania felt unacceptable. Devan is getting more and more excited about Kania. Inevitably, Kania gets into Devan's car. Devan began to run his car, splitting the crowds of Surabaya city that felt hot in the morning before noon.
"Mother, is it true that Om Devan is my father? Yeyyy, Shaka has a father." Shaka who was sitting in the back seat advanced his body in order to stare at Devan who was driving the car.
"Bu_"
"Yes, Honey. This is Shaka's father. From now on call me dad, yeah. Don't Om anymore." Devan interrupted Kania's words quickly. Devan knows that Kania will answer no.
Devan glanced at Kania with a triumphant smile. The way he used on target.
Kania's hands were clenched. It felt like punching Devan's lips hard. It was as if he was acting.
"Where have you been all this time? Why not Shaka and Mommy? Mother also, why not say that Shaka's father is Om Devan. We meet often."
His brain quality is above that of an average child his age. Any question tam had unexpectedly could come out of his mouth.
Fortunately, Devan's car had stopped in front of Devan's house before Kania and Devan could answer Shaka's question. More precisely, they were still looking for the right answer.
"Shaka played with Oma first yeah, honey. I'll borrow Shaka's mother for a second, yeah."
Shaka nodded enthusiastically. Then he got out of the car and ran into Devan's house.
"Wait here, don't go anywhere! I talked to Mama first" she told Kania before getting out of the car.
***
Fifteen minutes waiting, Devan finally returned. I don't know what I'm talking about with Hanum. Which is definitely not far from the problem that happened this morning at Shaka school.
"I haven't allowed you to say that you are Shaka's father, yet" Kania muttered softly as Devan just walked in and shut the door of his car. Kania's face was already filled with tears that had wet her cheeks.
"Keep your selfishness. You realize what happened today because of your selfishness?"
"I'm selfish?" Kania laughed blankly. "You still blame me for what you did?"
"Then what? Didn't what happened that night suit your work? You should be happy to have Shaka, my son, a descendant of the rich. Your dream is achieved, to become rich or to marry rich. You no longer have to work in a place like that. I-so, right? You disappeared just because you were looking for the right time to get into our lives."
Kania was flabbergasted to hear Devan's words that sounded so cruel in her ears. Without hesitation, Kania slapped Devan's cheek hard. Things Kania has wanted to do since Devan touched her that night. Honey, only this time Kania has a chance for that.
"So your mouth, Devan! I've never worked in a place like that. I came there to find my friend. But you destroyed everything. You ruined my life."
Devan smiled cynically. The slap on his cheek was indeed hot. But he couldn't slap her heart. "Mistake yourself come to such a place. It's called you putting yourself in a crocodile's nest."
"Because of you my future is ruined, Devan. I got pregnant without a husband, and when my parents kicked me out, my college had to stop, even I almost killed myself because of you, Devan! If I were really dead, you would never meet your son!"
"It is your fault why you chose to leave. Not looking for me and holding me accountable."
Kania nodded her head many times. "Yes. All's fault. The rich are never guilty of anything." Kania insinuates Devan subtly. "You think I could think of looking for you? To think about the fate of me and my son alone I was confused. Then how do I find you, a person I never knew, I've never met before, but managed to plant a seed in my womb and just leave. I don't need your money. From tomorrow Shaka will no longer be attending school at that place using your money. You'll regret saying that to me, Devan."
Kania gets off the car, leaving Devan still speechless. With her broad steps, Kania enters Hanum's house and invites Shaka to return home.
Hanum tried to get Kania to speak, but only a faint smile was given by Kania. Refusing subtly Hanum requests asking him to sit down for a while to calm down.
"Shaka wants to be here with dad, Mommy. Shaka doesn't want to go home." Shaka whined as Kania pulled her hand slowly.
"We're home, son."
"Shaka won't, Mother. Shaka wants to be here."
"Disha! Listen, mom, we need to go home. Our place is not here." Kania snapped at Shaka, leaving Shaka speechless and frightened. "Shaka doesn't love you? Shaka wants to leave mom alone?"
Shaka shook his head slowly.
"Then we go home. Follow the word mother. Don't argue!"
Finally Shaka obeyed Kania. Following Kania's steps as Kania pulled her hand slowly.
Devan, who dislikes seeing Kania yelling at Shaka, tries to restrain Kania from taking Shaka away.
However Hanum restrains Devan, asking Devan to let them go. Kania needs time. Today might also be a tiring day for Shaka.
