The Strangeity of a Satya

"Bella, can I hold you?"

Bella did not expect the man to suddenly say that, of course she was surprised. Bella had no idea Satya would ask her for that.

Even so Bella still nodded slowly in response to Satya's wishes. Without wasting any longer, Satya quickly approached and pulled Bella's body in her arms. Hugged her so tightly after getting approval.

"I'm sorry, Bella!" said the man with a soft-sounding tone of voice.

Bella's hand moved back to Satya's embrace, gently rubbing her wide back before saying, "I can understand, Sat. It's okay, don't think about it again. You shouldn't apologize just for being yourself. Really, I'm totally fine, Satya."

Satya did not say anything more, she just continued to hold Bella's body tightly and full of warmth. Because really, he keeps feeling guilty. The first lie that he should never have started will continue to demand other lies. The lies that will hurt Bella and haunt her.

In the end, it is the lie itself that will bring Satya into ruin.

A rumbling sound filled the entire front of the movie theater that night made Bella tighten the jacket she wore to dispel the cold that was quite piercing that night.

Sometimes Bella feels Satya's remark about 'Don't carry someone else's name that has nothing to do with their marriage' is the dumbest sentence she's ever heard from the man the first night they got married.

At first, Bella thought anything could happen. The marriage that he said he wanted to be made real might indeed happen as long as they both tried and fought. But seeing Satya's attitude lately seems impossible. That would be so impossible for them to make.

The weirdness continues to be seen in Satya. Like the man was more aloof since the day Satya received a call from the person Bella accidentally saw her name was Alvin. Even the man also gets a lot of other phone calls that are out of nowhere.

And that's getting suspicious, like before. Satya will always stay away from Bella to pick up her phone, as if she does not want Bella to hear the chatter of the two. And even more sickening for Bella, Satya will end up apologizing for the umpteenth time. It felt annoying because Bella did not understand what the man was constantly apologizing for without a proper explanation.

Once twice Bella still believes Satya to be like that because it is a work problem that never gets done. His father forbade him to work first for a while and his mother kept telling him to do this and that as an excuse to get closer to Satya.

Until the fact is revealed that the man was not as hard-working as Bella had imagined to be careless for a few days just because of work problems.

The butler tells him that Satya is not that busy at his company. Alvin, the last person Bella saw calling Satya, came with some files that she knew what. Maybe Satya would be very angry if he knew Bella had been slow to open the file without her knowledge. But really, Bella needs to know what made Satya lose her way lately.

And sure enough, all the files contained travel routes and some photos of women taken secretly, as if deliberately to investigate the woman. Because of that fact, Bella believes that all this time Satya is still finding out the whereabouts of Luna, her former lover.

Again and again, Satya shouldn't have to keep pretending to be a good husband to her and keep promising things that will never be kept. Because Bella can see well that from the beginning Satya was not for her.

Until at any time, Satya's heart is not his and for that, Bella will never demand anything from the man including charging the promise Satya made the first night they officially became husband and wife.

That was the reason that made him have to secretly come to this cinema without being known by the house people and Satya.

Bella immediately rushed to one of the cinema studios where someone was waiting for her. The place they both agreed to meet. The man said that one of the cinema studios had already been vacated just for the two of them.

Initially emptying one cinema studio did not make Bella too shocked because she was sure how a Rayhan Julio. The man Bella was familiar with by the name of Ray was able to empty him, even with just the savings he had.

But how shocked Bella after getting there, she actually saw that one cinema has been emptied. Holy hooch! What did that man do?

But on the other hand, Bella is happy about this. That's a sign, there is nothing else that Bella needs to worry if at any time there is one of the visitors who recognize it and can reach Satya's ears.

Because Bella knew, things would not go easy if she was caught meeting other men secretly.
