Oskar was standing in the schoolyard. He was on a school bus that would take him home. Of course, his decision to take the school bus was unbeknownst to his mother, Joanna.

"Oskar, did you tell your parents that you came home on the school bus today?" ask a female teacher.

After the children all boarded, the bus drove out of the school gate. Right after that a taxi stopped across the street.

That was Joanna. He got out of the taxi and went to the guard post and told him that his arrival was to pick up Oskar.

"Sorry, Madam. But Oskar just got home. He took the school bus with the other students" the security guard politely replied.

Xiao O, can you tell mommy first before deciding anything?

"Aunt Diaz, is Xiao O back?" joanna asks someone she trusts to take care of her cake shop which she already considers her family.

"Xiao O is taking a bath" Diaz replied with a smile.

Joanna immediately ran towards their house which was behind the shop. Joanna had just closed the door and Xiao O was done with her bathing activities.

"Xiao O, mommy misses you!" joanna hugged her son and kissed him.

"Take off me mommy, I'm not a kid!" reject Oskar while wiping off Joanna's kiss marks with her towel.

Joanna felt riveted with Xiao O's behavior and answer just now. Was she so disgusted by her own mother?

One more thing, he said he wasn't a kid. But he's really only 5 years and 2 months away.

"Alright, Xiao O has grown up. But why didn't Xiao O tell mommy that Xiao O got home on the school bus. Mommy is very worried, you know" said Joanna, pressing down on Xiao O's cheeks.
