A few weeks had passed after the barbeque that night. After going through a long series of processes finally the thrilling day came as well. Tomorrow, William and Oskar will undergo a bone marrow transplant for Oskar's recovery.
"Will, after the transplant, you're gonna have a hard time moving. You'll need help even to do things like pee or take water. What say?" arthur Goda.
"Arthur you should come here often to take care of me later" William asked.
"Will, I'm not very idle like that. But I'll work on it. But you can't wait for me just to pee or wipe your body right?" ask Arthur.
"Aren't there mama and nuns, so scared of what?" answer William.
Everyone laughed, as if they were happy to have teased William to the point of bending his face like now.
"Joanna, sorry to bother you. It looks like there will soon be two babies you have to look after" Louise said, opening her voice.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of my two babies" Joanna said.
"But take it easy. There's my mama, too, you don't have to take care of her for twenty-four whole hours" Louise said.
"I know," said Joanna.
Louise and Joanna smiled, but not William. One of the babies Joanna must take care of is of course Oskar and the other is William who is now wearing a patient uniform.
"Are you not satisfied with teasing me. Who's the baby you just meant?" william protested with a glance at Louise's hand which continued to be on Joanna's waist.
"Of course you're the baby. Who else?" answer Arthur. But the answer was ignored by William because he was busy with his mind that had imagined how to bother him later when he could not move freely.
In addition, you still have to see Louise and Joanna who continue to stick like stamps. That's enough, William's eyes have been sore all the time seeing such a sight these few weeks. The world belongs to everyone, not just the two of them. Why don't they have the slightest bit of empathy not to flaunt it in front of a prospective patient anyway?
Without always being that friendly William also knew Joanna belonged to Louise. So does it need to get like this every time?
"I can take care of myself. How could I trouble his future wife Louise" William quipped.
"William, don't be afraid! I will take very good care of you" Joanna said with a big smile.
"I told you not to. I can do everything myself!" strong William.
"Will, you're saying this because you can still do everything yourself. If you dare try to say it after you have a transplant later," Louise said
It won't be troublesome he said, where possible. Louise remembers William desperately needing help when he was sick. Louise was well versed in William's habits because again this was not the first time William had to deal with this kind of thing.
"All right, it's up to you. I'll obey, I'll be a patient" William relented.
"All right, then I'll go home first. Alexa was waiting for me in Oskar's room" said Arthur.
"I'll drive you" asked Joanna.
"See you tomorrow!" said William.
Arthur went out with Joanna. They can't wait to see Oskar and cheer him up.
Louise is still not leaving. He wanted to linger with William.
"What are you doing here. Is still not satisfied teasing me. Go there!" expel William.
"I'm afraid you're lonely, Will!" louise said then sat down next to William.
"What's wrong with you. You can't cry worrying about me, right?" ask William.
"Omong empty. I told you I don't care. Who's worried about you" replied Louise.
"Then why are you still here. Just ruin the view" William complained.
"Just hit, you think I'm scared?" challenge William.
"I'm going to hit you. But later after you recover," said Louise.
"It's up to you" said William.
Louise smiled, she knew William had never won an argument with her. And it was great to see William who always fussed after him.
"All right, I'm going home now. Rest up!" pamit Louise's.
"Slow down your car. Don't die until I get a transplant tomorrow!" william's message as Louise rises.
"Can you say it more clearly?" ask Louise.
"Didn't I say it very clearly?" replied William indifferently.
"I understand!" said Louise. He took the time to ruffle William's hair before he actually left.
Louise smiled holding her laugh behind the door, what William meant by not dying before he had the transplant was that you had to accompany me and see me before I entered that terrible room tomorrow.
Unlike Louise who held back her laughter, William instead smiled broadly like a child. His hand even touched Louise's ruffled hair just now. The touch is still the same as before. It was still very warm and gave her a sense of security. Even so, his mouth was still unwilling to admit. Because William still says, "I'm not a kid!"
A few minutes passed after Louise's departure. William was still sitting on his bed and playing his gadget. Just then a man dressed like a doctor came in.
"Do you still need to check again?" inner William. The doctor who examined him was not this person and he had also said he would come again tomorrow. So who's this guy?
"You're not a doctor, are you?" asked William without hiding his curiosity.
"Greetings to you, my lord!" said the man.
William didn't say anything. Who is this man, why call him that name and be this respectful.
"Sir, after a long search, we have finally found you, Sir!" continue the man.
"You who?" ask William.
"Sir, I am a confidant of the late parents. You can call me Okta" replied Okta.
"My parents?" ask William.
"Yes, Sir!" answer Okta.
William smiled cynically. Who believes Okta's words. He could have tricked William and used him. Over twenty years William is missing and eventually found by Matthew's family, raising him as a child and treating him like a real child. Then suddenly this person appeared now. Why are they looking for him now. Isn't this too frontal?
"Do you swear on my parents to die soon. My parents are alive and they are very healthy. Aren't you afraid that I'd kill you if you spoke so recklessly like this?" ask William.
"Master, I mean your biological parents" Okta continued.
"They've been dead a long time. Why are you just looking for me now. What's your purpose?" ask William.
"My Lord, do you already know your true identity?" ask Okta.
"Of course I know" replied William.
"Then why don't you come back. We, the faithful followers of your parents, have always been looking for you for a long time. But found nothing. It was only after the news of the Northern City spread that we were only able to find a little bright spot where the Lord was," explained Okta.
"Back for what, I already have a new family that loves me a lot since I was a kid here. Why should I leave him for a family that ignores me?" ask William.
