A few minutes later, Han Shu finally managed to absorb all of the light elements present in that place until it was left unnoticed.
"It seems like this is more than enough, after all here there is nothing else I can absorb, hahaha." Han Shu's inner self was slightly satisfied.
Just as Han Shu was about to open his eyes, all of a sudden all of the energy around him turned grayish-white in lightning.
"What happened to this energy?" Han Shu had no idea what was really going on.
"What'sthis? This is the first time I've seen anything like it. Can I absorb it too? Ah, stupid time. I'll absorb it all, maybe I can get something out of this."
With great confidence, Han Shu decided to continue the process of absorbing that mysterious energy.
Han Shu didn't care if it put his life at risk. As long as he could gain the strength to fight the Devil Race, he would take any risks. Han Shu was like that.
However, Han Shu had a premonition that the energy he would absorb would be beneficial to him. But he could not ignore the danger he would get.
Just a little bit of that energy had entered Han Shu's body, suddenly his entire body felt an unbearable pain. His body will melt like a burning candle.
"Armghhh!"
"Armghh!!"
"Armghhh!"
"What energy am I really absorbing?! I need to stop it right now!"
Han Shu tries to stop the absorption that he is doing but his attempt fails. That mysterious energy continued to be absorbed into his body.
"No, I can't stop it!"
As the pain grew more and more intense, Han Shu opened her eyes and came to a realization. Even when he was conscious, he continued to feel pain until he curled up on the ground.
Han Shu's skin was filled with blistering wounds from being exposed to the corrosive mist. The clothes he was acquainted with were also destroyed because the energy of his protector was no longer there.
The longer Han Shu's vision began to blur and blur. He looks like he's about to faint.
"No, I can't pass out here. There are enemies around here. I have to hold on, at least a little longer." Han Shu tried to hold him back. Yet...
"Is this just my imagination, the thick fog around here just disappears."
"Why am I even thinking about it. It's really a bad way to die. Not really worth it..." Han Shu finally fainted after a few minutes of defending.
However, it is not a mere imagination. The thick fog in that place had indeed mysteriously disappeared.
.........
"Ughh! Where am I?" With her still blurry vision Han Shu woke up from her stupor with her te*anja*g body. He tried to sit while holding his head that hurt.
"Ahh, right. I fainted at that time. But why am I still alive? I should have been found by the Demon General and killed by them. Did I just faint for a moment?" Han Shu had predicted his death before he fainted.
With his body still weak, Han Shu got up and immediately left the place. He had to dodge the Demon General's search for a while.
"How long have I been fainting? And how can the wounds on my body heal just like that?" Han Shu wondered.
"Well, I don't seem to care about what happened. I think this is a good thing for me."
One other reason was because in that place Han Shu felt a surge of energy that could disturb one to feel the aura of anyone's life.
"With this I will not be found easily."
Han Shu continued to run until he entered the deepest forest. Somewhere full of trees, he accidentally saw one of the Demon Generals who seemed to be searching for him.
Quietly Han Shu immediately hid behind a large tree and waited for the Demon General to leave the place.
"Wait, is he alone? If that's true, this is my chance to kill him. But, it could be a trap for me to show up."
"For now I will hold back. I can't be too rash. It's a pity that I can't figure out the whereabouts of the other Demon Generals because there's a wave of energy bothering them."
After waiting for quite a while, the Demon General finally left the place. Han Shu continued his escape in the opposite direction to the Demon General.
Somewhere, Han Shu finds a cave so dark that the eyes of anyone who looks at it are in endless darkness.
With no fear Han Shu directly went inside to inspect it at once to hide.
In the darkness Han Shu walked slowly through a path she did not know and did not see the direction.
"There may be an abyss waiting for me ahead, hahaha." Han Shu chuckled.
Instantly his laughing voice echoed on the walls of the cave up to dozens of times. He did not care about the unimportant thing and continued to move his feet.
Sure enough, Han Shu's steps instantly came to a halt as there was no footing in front of him. He slightly grabbed it with his right foot to find a foothold but there was nothing.
"Is this a ravine?" Han Shu looked ahead but there was only darkness. He could not use his energy to make light in that place.
"Am I just going back?"

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps of some people came from outside the cave. Han Shu who noticed it still did not feel panicked.
"They got here, didn't they? They must have followed the trail I left behind."
"It's not that I purposely left my mark, but because I couldn't remove all traces."
"This place is so complicated."
There were only three choices Han Shu had to decide on now. First is to turn out and fight them. The second is to move places using dimensional space. The third is to jump into the abyss.
"I think I should get out of here." Han Shu chose to go using dimensional space.
Han Shu then attempted to open up his dimension space but his attempt failed. He kept trying again but still failed.
"I'm not leaving here!"
The sound of footsteps grew louder. The Demon General began to enter the cave to search for Han Shu's whereabouts.
"They're already starting to get in. Even though this place is so dark, if I just stay here they'll find me."
"The only way to avoid them is to jump into the abyss. But that's a bad idea, I don't know what's under this abyss."
