Chapter 65 The Demon Portal opens

In a dark room, water droplets occasionally fell on the water below. Yueyin opened her eyes and found herself in an unfamiliar place. The floor was filled with water, but Yueyin's body was not wet from it.

"Where am I? Am I dead?"

"Is this the world after death? Mom, dad, sister, where are you?"

Yueyin tried to sit down but was not strong to do so. He's lying limp there. He looked towards his stomach to check his wound but, there was no blood spot there.

"So, I'm really dead."

Yueyin recalled herself having pierced her own stomach with a dagger. However, now there was no trace of him at all which indicated he was dead.

"Mother, father, sister..."

Yueyin again called them however, there was no answer whatsoever. All he could hear was the occasional drop of water.

"I thought I could meet you after I ended my life. But it turns out that's not true. Forgive Yueyin for leaving you that time..."

Yueyin curled up and hugged her weak body. His voice slowly grew slower. Her tears began to drip down her cheeks. He regretted leaving them without asking permission.

"I miss you guys..."

Yueyin missed them so much. He then closed his eyes and continued so for a long time that he could not remember how long he had been like that.

"Yueyinh..."

Suddenly there was a voice of a woman calling her name. Yueyin immediately opened her eyes as the voice sounded familiar. He had missed that voice so much that he hadn't heard it in years.

"Mother!"

From a distance, a woman stood on her back to Yueyin. Her face was invisible but Yueyin knew that the woman was her mother.

Then a man appeared beside the woman who was also facing her back to Yueyin. He was the father of Yueyin.

"Dad..."

Yueyin rushed to her feet to get closer to them but she did not have enough manpower to do so.

Then came another girl holding the hands of both of them. Yueyin was really happy to see her family back.

"Sister..."

The boy turned around and called out to Yueyin with a warm smile. Yueyin tried with all her might to get closer to them on all fours. However, they suddenly walked away from Yueyin.

Their distance grew further and Yueyin forced herself to stand up and chase after them by running.

However, Yueyin could not catch up to him as fast as he ran. Yueyin fell because her balance was shaky and their distance was getting farther.

"Mother! Daddy's! Brother!"

Yueyin shouted with all her strength calling out to them. They suddenly stopped and turned to face Yueyin.

They smiled warmly at Yueyin without saying anything. Yueyin thought they were going to walk towards her. However, they turned around and walked again away from Yueyin. Until, they could no longer be seen by Yueyin.

"I'm sorry..." Yueyin again curled up in her solitude and did not think of waking up again.

Yueyin suddenly woke up with a belly wrapped in a cloth. Beside him was Han Shu who was absorbing the Spiritual Stone.

The Spiritual Stones that had previously piled up, filled the room, now only a quarter remained.

"Am I still alive? How come?"

Han Shu looked towards the outside of the window and he was a little surprised to see the radiance of red light soaring up into the sky. Soon he might calm down.
