After he finished making the pills, Han Shu comforted himself by sitting on the chair that was in his room. He felt quite tired because two days focused on making pills.
"Tomorrow is the time to fight. I've prepared everything I need. Stay how do I do it directly," Inner Han Shu thought.
"Oh I almost forgot. One thing I haven't done."
"Yueyin, come here." Han Shu called out to Yueyin who was standing guard outside.
Yueyin then walked into Han Shu's room after hearing her call, "What did you call me?" Yueyin stopped a few meters in front of Han Shu.
"Come here."
Yueyin took a few more steps and stopped back. However, the distance was still undesirable to Han Shu.
"God... You're still too far." Han Shu decided to stand up from the chair and approach him.
Han Shu stopped right in front of Yueyin. Yueyin only had a flat expression in response to Han Shu's closeness. He still did not know what Han Shu would do.
"What's he gonna do?" inner Yueyin wondered.
Han Shu started to move his hand towards Yueyin slowly. The shoulder of Han Shu's palm began to appear on Yueyin's face. Yueyin's body trembled in alarm. He responded by closing his eyes.
"What are you doing!" Yueyin thought of a no-no.
It turned out that Han Shu's palm touched Yueyin's head. After noticing it, Yueyin immediately opened her eyes.
"What is..."
"I just let go of the blood covenant I made to you. Now you're free to go. Do whatever you want." Han Shu said with a slight smile on her face after she removed it.
"What did the master say! Why did the master do it!? What is the reason you did it!?" Yueyin was completely shocked by that statement. He does not fully believe.
"Aren't you glad you're free of me. Now you don't have to follow me anymore." Han Shu was astonished by Yueyin who was feeling displeased.
"What now you're throwing me away?" Yueyin's expression instantly turned moody. He lowered his head down in disappointment.
"No, that's not what I meant." Han Shu really did not know why Yueyin behaved like that. He also did not know what to do to calm him down.
"Then what?"
"I just don't want you to go with me."
"Well, maybe this is the right answer," Han Shu's inner.
"So you really dumped me?" Yueyin's expression became increasingly moody.
"All right, I'm going. Good bye, sir. Thank you for taking care of me all this time." he continued. Then he left from there.
"It turns out no," Inner Han Shu was disappointed by the choice he said.
"Wait, you seem to have misunderstood." Han Shu pulled Yueyin's hand to stop her. However, Yueyin immediately took off Han Shu's hand and continued her departure.
"Fuck, he misunderstood me. What do I have to do to stop it? Wait, maybe that might help." Han Shu remembered something.
Han Shu again pulled Yueyin's hand and turned her body. Then he hugged her tightly while stroking Yueyin's head.
"From the books I've read, hugs can give others a sense of comfort. I don't know if this is true or not but, I have to try it," she said.
Yueyin was completely shocked by what Han Shu had done. He was intent on letting go but a sudden sense of comfort he felt in his arms.
"I thought back to my mother's embrace" she felt at ease.
"Please let me be like this in a minute." Yueyin said with a small tone. However, it could still be heard by Han Shu.
"It seems like this worked, he became calm again," Han Shu muttered.
"All right." Han Shu agreed.
"You know, tomorrow we have to go to war against the Devil Race and I have the task of defeating the Demon King whose power you can't imagine."
"I don't know if I'll be back or not. If I die, you'll die because you're bound by a blood covenant."
"That's why I freed you from the blood covenant. I don't want to take you to die with me." Hugging Yueyin, Han Shu said her point.
"When we first met, I promised I'd always follow you into my life. I will never forget that promise."
"So please, let me follow you. I would never betray you." Yueyin pleaded with a clear voice. His eyes exuded a strong determination.
"Looks like he meant it. I can't just trust him. But..." Han Shu looked towards Yueyin's eyes.
"Do as you please."
"Thank you, sir." Yueyin looked pleased with her flat expression.
After all had passed, Han Shu suddenly searched for a piece of paper in her room and wrote down a few words inside.
He then went to see Emperor Han to give the paper to him.
Coincidentally, they met on the street. Han Shu called out to him.
"Dad!" Han Shu ran after him.
Emperor Han glanced at Han Shu, "Are you seeing me again, Han Shu?"
"Please send this paper in the form of a letter to another region. This is a warning of a plan I'm gonna do." Han Shu handed the paper to him.
"All right, I'll do it soon. Is there anything else? I'm so busy right now."
"Nothing."
After hearing Han Shu's reply, Emperor Han immediately left because there was still a lot of work he had to do especially evacuating the residents to the Meng Empire that was nearing completion.
"She seems really busy."
"Now, I just have to wait for tomorrow. I need to rest early for preparation tomorrow. I don't want to get tired of coming at me sooner." Han Shu decided to rest in his room.
..........
Next day.
Tens of thousands of troops were deployed from various quarters. Starting from the Palace warriors, sect disciples along with their elders, mercenaries and many others. They were already preparing for the battlefield with their confidence.
Before departing, Emperor Han made a loud speech encouraging his entire army.
The handsome Emperor Han gave a speech to them so as not to be afraid of the death that would come their way.
After it was finished, Emperor Han immediately gave the order to depart.
"All troops! Go!" Emperor Han started in front.
"Yes!!!!"
They moved simultaneously towards the battlefield. Many troops flew by using swords and many still use horses and ran to go there.
Meanwhile, Han Shu was still sitting leisurely while observing their departure. And Yueyin was also still there.
"Why don't you follow them?" han Shu asked who was aware of Yueyin who was approaching him.
"Then, why are you still here?" Yueyin asked back.
"If I follow them, I'll get there long enough. I'll wait for them a little longer before I go there."
"Sir, there's one thing I want to ask you."
"Ask me. As long as I can answer it, I will answer it."
"Why is it the master who must defeat the Demon King?"
"A good question. Because only I can. If dozens or even hundreds of elders who had high cultivation were to fight against him, they would still not be enough to defeat him."
"What about you, sir? Your strength is even far below them."
"You don't have to worry about that. I'm telling the truth. In fact, the elders will have difficulty fighting the Demon Generals who number 10."
