Chapter 13 The Arrow

The three were unconscious after their bodies hit the wall. Han Shu directly approached towards Lin Yun who was standing looking at him.

"What are you gonna do?" Lin Yun was surprised.

Han Shu continued walking until urging Lin Yun to retreat. Until finally Lin Yun could no longer retreat because there was a wall behind him.

"What do you really want?" Lin Yun was a little annoyed. Her face was reddened because Han Shu's face was very close to her.

"Give me an explanation I can accept for yesterday!" Han Shu said with a sharp look.

"What explanation do you mean? I don't know what you meant yesterday!" Lin Yun did not understand.

"You told me to hunt the Beast in the Monster Forest, but just to enter it I can't!" Han Shu reminded him.

"Ahh that... I thought you could enter it... It can't be yes..."

"Basically, the Wind City region was a relatively safe region and far from the Monster territory or the like. There was only one forest that contained the Beast nearby that was the Monster Forest. Besides you need days to get to the other Monster territory." Lin Yun explained.

The bodyguard was about to attack Han Shu with his punch but was stopped by Lin Yun.

"Stop!" snarled Lin Yun to his Guard.

The bodyguard stopped his attack when it almost hit Han Shu. Han Shu glanced at the Guards then he kicked the Guards quite hard.

"You...!" The bodyguard was surprised because what he was about to attack was the one who healed Grandpa Lin Yun.

the bodyguard crashed backwards until his body suffered a slight injury and also the clothes he was wearing became tattered due to being dragged by the road.

The guards tried to get up after being knocked down. He covered his wound with his hand then he approached towards Lin Yun.

"Hey, why did you attack him?!" asked Lin Yun to Han Shu.

"Well, he's the one who attacked me first. I'm just reflexing, if he really attacks me I'll kill him right away in this place" Han Shu replied.

"What reflex!? You glanced at him first before attacking him!" Lin Yun denied Han Shu's reply.

"It's okay Young Miss Yun, I was too rash and had no idea who this Youth was..." Said Guard.

Lin Yun looked at his Guard then he said, "You better go home and change your clothes first. Your clothes are tattered like that."

"But Young Miss Yun, I must continue to protect you, this is an order from your Father, the Leader of the Lin Family." The guards insisted not to leave.

"Just relax I can protect myself..."

"But..."

"Hey, he's your bodyguard. You should stay with him. Why didn't you buy her a new shirt?" Han Shu gave her an idea. Actually Han Shu was intending to buy some clothes as well.

"Well, you don't have to go home. Come with me to find a clothing store to buy your clothes!" Take Lin Yun to his Guard.

Lin Yun and his Guard were surprised after seeing an arrow captured by Han Shu.

"Is there someone who attacked?" asked Lin Yun surprised.

His guard directly advanced in front of Lin Yun to protect him.

"You're late, the man who shot this arrow has left. Why would the Leader of the Lin Family send a weak bodyguard like you with him? Is he crazy?"han Shu said while holding her arrow.

"You must not demean the Lin Family Leader!!! I have to kill you!!!" Guards Lin Yun was angry.

"Have it, don't be easily provoked by it... He is indeed like that." Lin Yun told his bodyguard.

"And as for you Han Shu, don't demean my father anymore!" Lin Yun glanced at Han Shu sharply.

"Han Shu? Han Shu's? Han... Whaaat! He is the First Prince!" the inner guard was shocked.

But Han Shu didn't care about him not even listening to him, he just kept talking to Lin Yun, "Ohh, he's your father. It's only appropriate for his son to be like this," Han Shu muttered a little loudly.

"He was my bodyguard since childhood. My father has often asked me to replace other bodyguards but I don't like them" Lin Yun replied.

Han Shu then looked at his arrows. He saw a poison at the end of the arrow but that type of poison was not to kill someone but only to make someone paralyzed.

"Areally who's their real target?" Han Shu did not know their target because his previous position was right in front of Lin Yun.

"Their target might have been Lin Yun because he was from the Great Family. As for me, no one knows who I really am. I haven't offended anyone in this city either," Inner Han Shu thought.

"I have to stay with him to find out. They will definitely come back again," Inner Han Shu while looking back at the building where the arrows were slashed.

"Alright, no need to think about it... Let's go to the clothing store. I'll pay for your clothes as a gift from me." Lin Yun took Xiu Meng along.

"Well, Young Miss Yun..."

The two of them left Han Shu to search for the Clothing Store, while Han Shu quietly followed him from behind.
