S2. Lucas' New Life

Now, Lucas' life has changed drastically. If usually when he wakes up he immediately prepares his own equipment for work then not with this time because there is a wife who has prepared his needs. Part, when you cas just woke up from his sleep already at the sight of clothes located on the dresser owned by Dahlia. Earlier, after performing the morning prayers, Lucas went back to sleep because he felt very tired. A few days before her wedding she could not sleep peacefully because she was nervous, so she fell asleep very fast after performing dawn prayers with Dahlia this morning.

"I really can't believe that I'm married and have a wife as great as Dahlia. She is a very remarkable woman. Not only beautiful face, but his heart was so beautiful with all the softness and speech he said. Astaghfirullah, my thoughts cannot be separated from him, O Allah" Lucas said with all his admiration for his wife. Not wanting to linger in her room she chose to go clean herself again and put on the clothes Dahlia had prepared. As he finished preparing, Lucas came out of his room and saw that his wife was cleaning his family home.

Seeing his wife who had cleaned the family room like that made Lucas immediately approached him and took the initiative to help him. However, Dahlia immediately rejected him because he had not had breakfast.

"You have breakfast first, what breakfast do I have to prepare?" dahlia asked because she knew that her husband had not had lunch yesterday. Likewise with his family, when he saw Lucas who had just come out of his room made them immediately direct himself to bring his husband to eat. Lucas himself feels bad about all this especially he who just woke up and then for breakfast while his wife's extended family is cleaning their house at this time.

"No problem, I can eat later. Now I want to help clean the house first." Lucas refused because he wanted to help his wife's family clean up the mess because of their wedding yesterday.

"You have to help us but after breakfast. We had breakfast first and we had to work afterwards. So, if you want to help then breakfast first because there is much more that we have to clean up after this" said Farid, Dahlia's brother.

Hearing what his brother-in-law said made Lucas immediately comply and join his wife's breakfast. Really, this was his first breakfast as a husband and was served by his wife. Dahlia was really amazing at serving him this morning, very gentle and very attentive to it with just a fried rice breakfast but it was very good to cook directly by his wife.

"Sorry, this morning there is only fried rice, later if we have moved to our own house then I will every day cook for you." Lucas smiled at what his wife said. She doesn't mind talking about food because she can eat whatever she wants without having to be cooked by Dahlia.

"There's no need to bother because I can eat whatever I want. We can eat out or there's a maid to cook us without you having to do it. I feel tired in taking care of the household." Lucas explained to his wife. He wouldn't burden Dahlia with all the business of eating her because she could eat whatever she wanted as usual. After all, she did not have to be tired of cooking for him because they could tell the maid to cook.

"Can I say something?" dahlia asked her husband.

"Yes, just tell me what you want then I'll do it." Lucas replied. Dahlia nodded her head before she said what she wanted to say to Lucas at this moment.

"Well, you are only allowed to cook and other household matters such as cleaning the house and cleaning it up is the maid's business. They will come from the house of mami and papi and after that they will come back as you want. One more thing, can you just stop teaching and focus on your family?" Dahlia nodded her head steadily as she had already decided that she would stop teaching at school to focus on her family.

Seeing the answer from his wife makes Lucas feel happy because Dahlia wants to decline without any debate between them. After all he could take full responsibility for Dahlia's life because from now on he would bear all the needs of his wife.

"Well, if it's like that. We agreed on all this, didn't we? I don't know how much money you need, but I've prepared all this long before we got married. You can use it to love your heart. I'll fill it up again every month, even if it's not over a month I'll fill it up again." Dahlia smiled when she heard what her husband said.

"What is the amount of money to spend on taking care of our household? even those of us who have five people at home only spend 5 million spending money for a month. Then what about the two of us? do you want to eat steak every day?" Leo shook his head because he didn't mean it that way.

"I don't mean to demean you and your family, only me I don't want to limit anything you want except working outside. If it's about eating I don't choose any kind of food because I can eat everything except catfish and eels. Really, I'm amused and can't eat it. So cook food other than those two and I'll eat it."

"Well if so, I will keep this card and every Friday I will cook food for Friday alms for mosques and the underprivileged. Do you mind?" dahlia asked her husband for permission.

"Not at all. I'll set you free with all that, baby."
