S2. Family Dinner

Laura doesn't know what's going to happen at her house tonight. I don't know who will come to his house but surely his mom and dad asked him to get dressed. It really made him suspicious.Auras were afraid that he would be betrothed to someone because indeed within the large family of himself with the same scope as him, was already very common.

"Mommy, actually who's coming to our house, then what's Laura dressed up for?" laura asked her mother because she was curious as to who the guests would come to visit their house. Not only that, my father had been since noon this afternoon his extended family was busy preparing all that.

"What can Mom say to be trusted? what if Daddy's planning an arranged marriage between Jeff and his business partner's son? Don't lie Mom, I know that Daddy's been planning an arranged marriage. Mom should also know if I refuse any kind of matchmaking with anyone except Laura. If mommy and daddy can plan my match with Laura, then I will accept it with pleasure." said Jeff who deliberately challenged Mom Veni to match her with Laura.

Mom Veni looks panicked while Jeff himself just smiles cynically in response. He knows if his family has really betrothed him, but does not know with whom and that makes Jeff feel in play.

"Once you go, Jeff will come. But, if it is true this event as an arranged marriage Jeff with others then Jeff will immediately go home and reject it. Jeff would also prefer to stay in New York again rather than here" Jeff threatened.

Eventually they went to his daddy business partner's house and he was also unconscious and paying attention to the streets they were passing by. However, when their car enters a magnificent gate in front of him, Jeff realizes that they have come to Laura's house.

"Why shocked?" ask his Daddy when he sees Jeff's reaction like that. Likewise with mom Veni who does not know whose house this is.

"Laura's House. Don't you know if we're going here?" mom Veni immediately shook her head because she did not know if they were going to Laura's house.

"It's Laura's house, mom." Jeff replied to Mom Veni. Since they were too late, they all got out of the car and got into the house of the girl he liked.

Jeff and his family are welcomed by Laura's family, but the girl is nowhere to be seen and makes Jeff look for her whereabouts.

"Hey bro, who are you looking for? Is a girl with narrow eyes like her mother?" jordan asks who teased Jeff. The young man looked very agitated and looked for the whereabouts of someone in his house.

Jeff was embarrassed by what Laura's papa said. He was indeed looking for the girl, but it didn't have to be talked about like this either. Especially when you see the annoying plight of Marcel.

"I wanted to hitchhike dinner because the waiter at our house had a cooking holiday. My daddy's money is running out and the restaurant is closing so you don't have any money for dinner!" jeff answered and the answer made Laura not believe the answer.

"Haha..." Jordan and his Daddy Jeff laughed when they heard the young man's answer especially when they saw Laura's face that looks upset so, this becomes a good start for their relationship in the future.

"Let's continue this conversation and now let's eat. Jeff was starving because the waitresses in their house were not cooking, baby, so let's sit down." said Jordan, who made his daughter look even more upset with him.
