S2. Rivalries
Jeff who was studying in his room was suddenly approached by his brother. Never once in his history as long as he returned to this house did his brother welcome him and now even come to his room there was definitely something he wanted to talk about.
"I'm learning, brother, so don't bother me because I never disturb your peace!"
Johnny immediately clenched both of his hands as what Jeff said made him feel annoyed for it. He only wanted to talk to his half-sister then why was he so arrogant?
"You're getting a little cocky now. Are you sure you want to compete with me in the company?" ask Johnny who takes his sister lightly. He did not know if Jeff had learned and meant it then he could have lost to him.
"I learned all this from you. The one who always taught me like this, right? then why even reverse the facts as if I am the arrogant one here!" answer Jeff with a sniff. He if you want to be disturbed by anyone because now invited to focus on what he does. Jeff had to actually learn to complete all his tasks before the exam began.
"Go to America and never come back here. I'll give you whatever you want as long as you never come back here and sit in the company." Johnny immediately said what he wanted to say to Jeff. He did not want to linger inside this half-brother's room because the longer he was here the more his patience was tested.
"Why?" jeff asked without looking at his brother. He kept focusing on his textbook until suddenly Johnny picked it up so Jeff could talk to him. Not accepting the actions of his brother at this time makes Jeff immediately ignited emotions right now. They fought a cold war that made both of them no one wanted to give up.
"You don't have to ask me why I told you to go to America and never come back here again. I'll guarantee your life there, but with one thing. Never come back!" Jeff pulled the corner of his lips to form a smile that made Johnny feel like he was being played by his half-brother.
"Tell that to Daddy straight and get out of my room!" Jeff pushed his brother out of his room and locked him away because he didn't want to talk to anyone right now. Actually Jeff is not interested in the company owned by his daddy. He's his daddy's wrestling. He just wants to own an automotive business. Jeff had already said such a thing to his daddy but dad Erlan rejected it and said if the company was also his and dad Erlan would share it evenly with Johnny and also Jeff because it was just them both sons.
Johnny felt he could not be treated like this by Jeff. He really did not take all this for granted to the point of making her feel annoyed and angry at once. How could Jeff treat him like this. It really can't be trusted!
"Why keep pestering Jeff?" mom Veni asked Johnny when she saw the boy at Jeff's doorstep and shouted in front of him.
"It's not mom's business!" johnny answered with a sniff. She was never interested in her stepmother's life at all. Although she was raised by the woman but she still considers her a stepmother because she has her own biological mother and she also often meets her out there. It's just that they can't stay together because of an illegitimate relationship. Dad Erlan could relate to anyone out there but not by marrying her and that's the agreement between mom Veni dsn and Erlan who agreed to it.
"It would be a mom's business because mom raised Jeff even though she didn't give birth to him. Just like you. You guys are still mom's kids even if you never consider it at all. Mom just wanted to tell you never to bother Jeff because he never bullied anyone. If you dare to bear Jeff, then mom make sure this time also your position in the company will be destroyed Johny. You and your mother will be devastated and mom can destroy it!" obviously mom Veni to make Johnny feel more intimidated by their current situation.
