S2. Wedding Preparation

Laura and Jeff's wedding is getting closer. The entire extended family is busy taking care of it, especially Mom Veni who is busy preparing all the needs for delivery of the services they will give to Laura later.

"Honey," call mom Veni on Jeff who looks very relaxed when his marriage with Laura will be held soon and he looks not busy at all.

"Yes mom?" jeff replied as Mom Veni called him.

"Mom was busy going to and fro to take care of your wedding with Laura and thought of her hand but you looked very relaxed. Don't you have the desire to help mom?" Jeff who had been thinking about Laura immediately moved from his bed.

"Oh yeah? does it have to be like that? do you mean a lot of preparations for marriage?" mom Veni could only shake her head when she heard what Jeff said. At least he knew if his son did not know anything about the handover of marriage.

"Already, if it's like that let's go to the mall to find offerings for Laura later. Tell Daddy you want to have his wedding. But isn't all that crafting going on with Daddy?"

"Yes, everything is. Only fittings for the wedding dress. The plan is to fit mom tomorrow," replied Jeff tomorrow they will just do the fitting of the wedding dress.

"Mom can ask you something?"

"What mom?" jeff asked because he was also curious about what Mom Veni would ask him.

"Later, after marriage if you can not be in a hurry to have a baby. I mean mom, check first the condition of the two of you and after you pray declared healthy so you two must undergo a pregnancy program at least until the age of Laura is ready. You will also continue your education there so if you have a baby quickly it will further complicate your situation later. It's just a suggestion, but if you both want to have a baby soon, that's fine. Mom didn't forbid it for all that." Veni told Jeff. As a parent, she only wants the best for her children. He never imposes any will on Jeff, and if he agrees then do it if it doesn't matter either.

"We know mom. Laura and I explained everything and told her that we agreed to postpone the pregnancy. Laura accepts it because she also wants to reach out to us as a doctor and so does Jeff. But, what about Johny's sister? did he know we were getting married?" I don't know why Jeff suddenly thought of his brother. However Johnny remained his brother and they were from the same father.

"Johny doesn't know it yet and Daddy says he's keeping your marriage with Laura a secret. After you're married, Daddy will tell Johny."

"What about mom and dad? Are you sure you want a divorce from Daddy?" Jeff wants to know how the continuation of the relationship between his parents. However she knows how much of a moment Veni loves Erlan's dad. Does he have to talk to his own mother?

"Well if it's like that. Jeff can only support whatever mom's decision is if it's the best. Jeff just wanted to say so much thank you for raising Jeff so lovingly and compassionately."

"It's my duty as a mother and thank you for being a great child for me. Now let's have lunch first. You haven't eaten since school" they both went to the dinner table to accompany Jeff to a missed lunch.

While at her house, Laura was with her papa. He wants time with that guy. The man who has become the first love of his life. Laura deliberately went into the office of the papi to talk to the man.

"Laura baby, what's so pretty?" ask and when I saw Laura come into her office. This was unusual because she knew that Laura did not want to interfere with anything she did and if Laura came to her like this it meant that there was something she wanted to talk about.

"Nothing, just want to tell a story. Is papi busy?" laura asked who saw her papa working on her laptop. Although his papa did not come to the company but still he worked from home.

"All right, let's talk. What do we want to talk about right now, baby?" jordan asked who came to Laura. He knew there must be something his daughter wanted to talk to him about right now. He strives to be a good papi for his beloved daughter.

"none. Laura just missed her. Don't want to say anything 'cause ya just miss it."

"Come here, but know there's something you want to tell me so let's just tell it. Let me guess, is this about you and Jeff?" it looked as if Laura was taking a deep breath and exhaling it violently.

"It's about Laura and Jeff. Soon we will get married and we will also go to America to assess our ideals and live our household life there. Pi, please bless our every step to start this life. Laura wants nika to be the father and sister who deliver Laura to the altar. Laura wants papi and sister to deliver Laura later. Laura asks both of you a lot and simply being Laura's companion walking on the altar towards Jeff is the greatest gift to Laura. What do you know, if Laura's scared?"

"Hey, don't ever be afraid to face the world baby. You have papi, you have papa William and you also have your brother Lucas. It's not just us, there's your mom, there's Sarah's mom, there's Marcel too. You are the love of all of us Laura. You are the most beautiful blessing from God.
