CHAPTRE 31. SHOULD HAVE MARRIED FIRST

The pair of neutrals looked at the plane that had just taken off. Fredy was still standing next to his car until the plane was out of his sight.

"I can see the regret on Anders's face. I hope Ellia can give him a chance to correct his mistake. And I also wish Emily could come back with her real father. Even though I've been by Emily's side, Emily never really thought of me as her father." Fredy muttered to himself.

Can not be denied if he felt sad because he had to cancel his marriage with Ellia, even though it was the most anticipated moment in his life. But she also can not be selfish, Emily more need Anders on appeal, especially with Emily's condition now.

Fredy started the engine of his car and drove the vehicle back to his house. After a few minutes, Fredy finally arrived.

Party decorations are still on display in the front garden, but no one is there. Only the empty seats were still lined up neatly, Fredy could only throw his rough breath into the air. The day that should be memorable for him is now just wishful thinking. The man continued his steps into the house.

"Fredy!" Call Frida as soon as she sees her son is back.

"What's up, Ma?" Fredy asked as he walked over to his mother who had been waiting for his arrival.

"Why did you let Ellia and Emily just walk away?" Ask Frida who looks upset.

"I mean Mama?" Fredy asked back.

"You were supposed to marry Ellia before they left with that man." Tukas Frida's. Fredy was surprised to hear it.

"Ma, Emily's very sick. And Mama's even more concerned about my marriage to Ellia?" Fredy asked in disbelief. Her mother could say that.

"Fredy, didn't you really want to marry Ellia? And when Ellia's gonna be yours soon you're gonna let her go?" Frida asked back.

"Ma, I do want to marry Ellia. But the situation now is not possible. What if something happened to Emily?"

Frida was breathing heavily into the air while rubbing her face.

"Come Fredy. Mama's just afraid that Ellia and Emily don't come back here and would rather live with Anders Calvert. You see that guy, he's more everything than you. He's got everything, even private jets and hospitals. Mama's afraid you'll be hurt again later. You've been waiting for Ellia for a long time, and Mama doesn't want any of this to go to waste. You're Mama's only child. Mama just wants to see you happy." Frida stared fixedly at her son. Fredy smiled softly, knowing that his mother loved him very much. Fredy pulled Frida into his arms.

"There's nothing for Mama to be afraid of. If Ellia was my soul mate, Ellia would definitely come back to me." Her speech.

"And if he doesn't come back, it's a destiny I have to accept. God must have prepared the best plan, and we just wait for what God plans for us." Continue while gently rubbing the back of the mother.

"Everything's gonna be okay, Ma." Said Fredy even though he could not deny there was disappointment in the look in his eyes.

The tiny figure looked so calm in his sleep. With a touch as light as a feather Ellia stroked the sleeping face. Someone who made him choose to survive, rather than end his own life. Though many times the intention crossed his mind.

"Emily, I hope you're okay. Mama can't imagine life without you, you're Mama's most precious treasure." One gentle kiss landed on Emily's forehead but did not wake her.

Geck. Tok.Toks.

The sound of knocking on the door made Ellia get out of bed, opening the door. Anders was there with a tray full of food.

"What's wrong?" Ellia asked still with her flat mode.

"It's noon, you better eat first." Anders went into the room and put the food he was carrying on the table.

"I'm not hungry!" Ellia ketus.

"If you're hungry or not, you should keep eating. We'll be there in an hour, and I hope you're done eating before we get there." Said Anders who then left the room. Ellia closed the door again and sat down on the side of the bed.

"Why should I re-engage with him? And why should he do that to me first?" Ellia massaged his forehead. Actually he could have forgotten his bitter past, but then Anders back present in his life.
