CHAPTRE 59. APOLOGIZE

Anders did not answer, it turns out that last night Ellia changed her clothes. That means Ellia saw him in a plain state? "Why did you come home so late?" Ellia asked who was still sitting next to Anders.

"I'm home or not, do you care? Maybe in your mind I'm having fun with another woman." Answer Anders bitterly.

"Are you angry about what I said last night?" Terka Ellie's.

"Do I have the right to be angry? While it's all my fault. Your hatred for me is ingrained. I always look bad in your eyes." Anders answered, a clear lightning appeared in his hazel eyes. Ellia looked at him fixedly, yet flatly. There was a sense of regret slipping in his heart, let alone given Anders' circumstances last night.

"I'm sorry that my words hurt your feelings." He spoke slowly as he moved from his seat. Anders's forehead looked wrinkled.

Did he not hear wrong? His wife just apologized?

Ellia passed from there while carrying the container from which Anders had eaten earlier. He didn't wait for Anders to answer his apology.

"Daddy! Daddy!" The door opened, and Emily ran over to her Daddy. Anders, who was about to close his eyes, woke up again.

"Hi, baby." Emily sat down next to Anders.

"Mama said Daddy was sick? Daddy's sick what?" The little girl asked, her face looking worried, but it made Anders even more anxious.

"Daddy's okay, baby. Just get dizzy." The answer. The small hand stuck to Anders' forehead, checking his body temperature.

"Daddy's body is hot." Emily said to herself. Anders smiled, his little daughter was so considerate of him.

"It's just hot, Emily. But Daddy's okay." He said as he rubbed Emily's long hair.

"Why is Daddy sick? Is Daddy raining? It rained so hard yesterday, Emily waited for Daddy to come home but Daddy didn't come." Her chattering.

Last night Emily was waiting for Anders to come home, but the one in waiting never came. Ellia told him to go to bed because Emily looked sleepy. At nine o'clock in the evening, Emily gave up because she could no longer endure her sleepiness.

Anders thought for a moment to answer Emily's question. He could not answer because he was raining last night.

"Daddy must be afraid of lightning, right?" Ask Emily again.

"Drinker?" Last night when lightning struck, Anders was even at the funeral and he didn't care about it at all.

The sound of the phone ringing distracts the two, Emily picks up the phone because of its closer distance.

"Daddy, Uncle Jeff called." He said, handing the phone to Anders, but Anders refused. His secretary will definitely ask about him who has not reached the office.

"You're the one who answered, huh?" Her request, Emily frowned, then nodded obediently.

"Hello, Mister. Master where is it? We have a meeting in a minute." Jeff said as soon as the call was connected.

"Uncle Jeff, it's Emily." Emily's Law.

"Miss Emily? Why did Miss pick up the phone? Where's Miss Daddy?" Ask Jeff behind the phone.

"Daddy is sick, Uncle. So Daddy's not working today." Emily answered for who she was, and Anders just listened to her.

"Oh, is Mr Anders sick?"

"Yes, Uncle. Daddy's body is hot, Daddy's face is also pale." Emily answered honestly. I heard Jeff breathing heavily.

"All right then, Miss. Thank you." Thank you." Jeff turned off the call.

"Rightly I'm guessing Mr. Anders won't be in the office today." Jeff said while staring at the screen of his phone.

"And that means I'll finish the job today. The fate of a secretary..." His complaint. Today he has a lot of work and now he has to add to Anders' work.
