Ellia Im Sorry

Ellia Im Sorry
CHAPTRE 36. TEST RESULT

"You're hoping the test results don't match?" Ellia asked back, her voice sounding sharp.

"It's not like that..."

"I'm his mother, I can be a donor to my own daughter." Ellia interrupted first.

"Ellia, of course you still remember what Doctor Meitha said this afternoon right? Our match rate for being a donor to Emily is only meager, and I'm just talking about the worst possible outcome." Anders said that seemed to undermine Ellia's hopes.

"Emily my daughter, it's impossible that the results don't match." Sergey Ellia.

"Ellie..."

"Why do you always ruin my expectations?" Lecar Ellia, even her hand pushed Anders' chest until the man took a few steps back.

"Ellia, I didn't mean to..."

"Anders Calvert, you're really the unlucky bearer of my life." Tuke Ellia.

"It used to be my life and Emily was fine before your arrival. And all of a sudden you've come to bring disaster for us." Ellia's speech was full of emphasis. The woman went back into Emily's ward. Anders stood where he stood. The bitter words that Ellia spoke really hit her heart.

"I'm a fucking carrier?" Mumbled. Anders rested his body on the iron chair that was nearby. His hand rubbed his face rough.

"Yes, I am indeed the unlucky bearer of Ellia." Sluggishly.

"I just wanted to persuade Emily. But what I did was always wrong in Ellia's eyes."

Anders leaned his back. This is the first time a woman has said that to him.

All this time the women only adored him and only Ellia dared to curse him like that. Hah, that woman is different. Even calling him a pesky carrier. It seemed that Ellia's hatred for him was ingrained. In the past, Ellia was just an innocent and quiet girl.

"Mama, where's Daddy?" Emily asked who had only seen Ellia enter alone.

"Daddy go for a minute, baby. There's a need to say." Replied Ellia who sat back next to her daughter.

"Yes, Emily. Daddy's gonna be here again." Ellia replied with a wry smile. It's really annoying when Emily keeps asking about Anders.

Next day.

Emily's parents are in Doctor Meitha's room. Both faces looked anxious waiting for the test results. Doctor Meitha picked up an envelope that was already located on the table.

"Mr Anders and Mrs Ellia, here's the test." Doctor Meitha said, pointing a white envelope at Anders and Ellia.

"Look, it's still sealed." Further. Anders and Ellia just nodded. Doctor Meitha opened the envelope slowly. His eyes read carefully what was written there. His face slowly changed.

"How's Doctor? I can be a donor to my daughter, right?" Ellia asked expectantly, but she was also afraid that the result would not be what she expected. Doctor Meitha took off her glasses, staring at the two people in turn.

"Mrs Ellia, I told you yesterday that the level of compatibility of parents to be a spinal cord donor for their child is very small." Doctor Meitha paused her speech.

"Then?" Ellia asked worriedly. His fingers were clinging to each other under the table. The young doctor nodded slowly.

"Mr Anders and Ms. Ellia can't be donors to Emily. Your test results don't match." Doctor Meitha handed the two sheets of paper to Ellia. Ellia read it right away. There are only negative words written sequentially on the paper.

The world collapses for Ellia and Anders. Ellia's chest immediately felt tight, and Anders could only be silent in his seat.
