CHAPTRE 32. HOW TO CURE EMILY

"Why should I re-engage with him? And why should he do that to me first?" Ellia massaged his forehead. Actually he could have forgotten his bitter past, but then Anders back present in his life. And after knowing that Anders was the one who did it to him, it felt like the old wounds were open and gaping again. When looking at Anders' face, Ellia always imagined when her mother died, also the time where she was treated so low and humiliated by the people around her.

The voice broke the reverie of Ellia. His stomach already wants to be filled. The food that Anders brought. It looks very evocative of his taste especially the aroma that seems to fill the room.

Klek, the door of the room is open. Ellia and Anders got up from their seats.

"Doctor, how's my daughter doing?" Ask Ellia. The beautiful doctor took off his glasses, staring at Ellia and Anders alternately.

"Emily had stage two leukemia cancer." The answer. Ellia and Anders immediately limp in hearing it. Emily was suffering from a deadly disease.

"Meitha, there must be a way to treat my daughter right?" Anders asked the doctor.

"Therapy?" Ellia and Anders were immediately jolted.

"Doctor, as far as I'm concerned, using very hard drugs. Will my daughter not be in pain later?" Ellia asked, her eyes already glazed over. Little did Ellia know about the therapy, there was a neighbor who had once done the therapy. And Ellia could not bear to see his condition. Especially if his little daughter has to live it.

"Mrs right. Chemotherapy does use drugs that are hard enough to kill cancer cells. And also some side effects that can be said to be quite risky. But indeed, chemotherapy is one way that many people take cancer." The Light of Doctor Meitha.

"There's one more way, a spinal cord donor. And it has to be done by the patient's family members." Answer Doctor Meitha.

"I'm willing to be his donor." Answer Anders quickly.

"I am too." Added Ellia.

"Master, Madam. Being a donor for cancer patients is not that easy. Ladies and gentlemen have to go through some tests first."

"I don't care, Meitha. I just want my daughter to heal fast." Anders. Doctor Meitha nodded.

"But I have to say at the beginning, if parents are donors, usually the level of compatibility is only a little and most likely not suitable." Her speech.

"you mean? We're her biological parents, we should be able to donate to Emily, right?" Anders didn't understand. The young doctor breathed a heavy sigh.

"Mr and Madam should have a test first. After that we'll see the level of compatibility." The answer. Anders and Ellia nodded.

"All right." Answer Ellia.
