Elvarette Shiro

Elvarette Shiro
Episode 5: Bells

Life is a reflection of ourselves, so prepare the best of you.

Arriving at the edge of the bridge, Elvarette asked for permission to rest for a moment. I know he's not used to this place, I used to experience this a few centuries ago. But slowly will get used to everything that is unusual here, because the mortal nature inculcates what we dream of while here displays what we do. The stream flow becomes the most honest self-reflection and the little girl sees the flow of time during life.

I saw him sitting nailing his face down by the river. The undulating ripples overhauled the flavor, a drop of memories summarizing the events Elvarette experienced. He shed tears at the bad memories of his sister's death, the death that led him to sue the Creator. Luckily the moonlight led him back. The moon is the message of the sister in the other side.

“Did you miss your sister?” my many.

“Surely, only he would listen to the strangeness I was experiencing. When my parents were more busy chasing the world in the name of God, he convinced me that God still loved me.”

“Then?”

“After he convinced me to keep believing, he left with lara who had long been inflamed in blood. He died when our family broke up out of greed. I was angry mixed with grief, they only thought about their ego and no one cared about our plight.”

“She didn't leave you, but is welcoming you.”

“We always hope, one day can hear the sound of bells. But not the death bell I expected.”

“Death brings us here, Elvy.”

“You're right, and right now I really miss Serena.”

“Even we will meet him, then let's continue the journey to meet the man in legend.”

“Is that true?”

“I forgot not to message you yet, a noble task for all.”

“What task is Ohba?”

“As long as you are here, you need to study to the wise men.”

“Brawling? I thought it was my job to find a lost soul like me?”

“I just found out it was Ohba, so we meet that guy first?”

“True.”

“Then what about the train?”

“He will catch up with us when the task is done.”

“Well when so.”

He got back up and wiped the tears off his porcelain-white cheeks. His blue eyes again clearly see the straight path, the path of redemption from regret and perversion. I am sure that he is truly a man worthy of guidance as Old Man Khidr said. He needs enough guidance and insight as Rabiah and Teresa.

The journey continued, soon we arrived at his humble abode. White smoke billowing high from the stone chimney, Elvarette sensed the existence of the man in the book. Now that he was the one who asked me to hurry to meet him, the gurgling water coming from the mill echoed. Right there, I hit the brown door leaf but there's no reply from the inside.

“Excuse me..”.

“What's he out of the house, Ohba?”

“Entahlah, but the kitchen smoke is still billowing Elvy?”

“There can I help miss?” said the old man with the grey beard.

He was standing right behind Elvarette. Distracted by his body and shocked by the existence of a grandfather who carries a rattan basket, he spontaneously asked “Who is grandfather?”

“Oh Mr. Hallaj, sorry we disturbed you.”

“Hallaj? Is he Ohba's?”

“Sure, he's the one we're looking for Elvy!”
