chapter 36: the yulan

The moment the woman's sword blade hit Tang Li's sword, she suddenly bounced back. Tang Li darted, but suddenly a shadowy figure appeared in front of him.

Xin Mei looked at the sky, it turned out to be true, the sky was indeed filled with stars. He subconsciously looked at her for a moment.

“If this wood wasn't heavy like this, I could definitely carry it.”

He then sat on the wood thinking how to carry it.

Tang Li approached her.

He then left from there.

The clouds covered the moon; the night became dreary and late. White lights were seen everywhere.

“It'll be raining soon, faster.”

“I know.”

Not for long, Xin Mei suddenly asked, “Why did you help me? You said you better not do this.”

“Because you are my friend, as well as my enemy.”

Tang Li was silent for a moment and replied, “I don't care.”

Yulan stood in front of the old house in the forest. She coughed, but still kept her graceful expression.

“My son, soon you will rise, I have found a girl's body that suits you. Wait a minute.”

The door of the house opened slowly, a figure wearing a mask stood there. His black clothes were invisible. From behind his white mask both eyes were glowing green.

The figure then walked down the stairs, revealing his dark black legs.

At the sight of this scene, both Yulan's eyes and lips trembled. Grain of tears dripping.

The night finally brightened again when Xin Mei and Tang Li arrived at the Yulan inn. The moon shone brightly in the sky again, and the stars glittered as well.

He then walked inside.

During the day, Yulan stood in front of the house while looking at Xin Mei walking cheerfully on the street. His gaze looked filled with the desire to get the girl, but he had to be patient.

This was the third day the girl stayed at her inn. During that time he also tried to kill him, but the protective figure always protected him secretly. It annoyed him, but he did not give up just like that.

“When will we do it?” ask the figure of the man beside her without looking at her.

“In one Week.”

Yulan coughed, making the man worried and wanting to question her situation, but immediately Yulan hinted not to ask.

The man then said, “since I knew the girl, she was a childish girl. It sucks, but it comforted me so much at the time. It's a pity if he should be killed to bring our daughter back to life.”
