chapter 40.2: I don't know

“Why not know?!” Xin Mei looked at Tang Li with an annoyed feeling. She already knew Tang Li. How the man killed his family and how he fought with the bandits. Hearing him answer not knowing, upset him.

He stared furiously at Tang Li. However, the young man paid no heed to it.

“Why?” Xin Mei asked in a pleading tone.

Tang Li slightly raised her face staring far back at Xin Mei. “because I don't know, whether I can save you and take you out of here or not.”

Seeing that gaze, made Xin Mei understand, if there was anyone else behind her. He also only realized that he was now in this other world.

Xin Mei turned around to look at someone behind her.

There, An Hua stood in her pink dress looking at Xin Mei with a question mark filled gaze, whether she hated her or was angry with her.

An Hua then looked at Tang Li with both beautiful, yet cold, round eyes. Then smiled at Xin Mei.

“Sister Mei, do you want to join me here?”

Xin Mei was silent for a moment and wanted to ask, but An Hua first spoke. “this world that big sister lives in will bring happiness that is different from the outside world that is full of suffering. Here, we'll play together like we used to. That difficult time will be replaced with laughter and smiles here, sis. I will also kill the man who always makes brother suffer.”

“So I remember, a woman is priceless, if that man has taken her from an older brother, he must die to avenge what he has done.”

Even though Xin Mei had only known An Hua, she had believed and felt that she had known him, and felt comfortable being beside him. What he said might have a point.

Xin Mei wanted to step closer to An Hua, however, her steps came to a halt as Tang Li spoke.

“What you said is true, but, did I really give you suffering? And... If it wasn't for your parents, I wouldn't have done it.”

“You involved myself!” Xin Mei angrily turned around.

Tang Li looked at Xin Mei deeply and apologized.

“No use.”

Xin Mei stepped towards An Hua. But again his steps stopped after walking a few steps.

“This is your decision, then I cannot interfere. It's the same as if it's not in the crocodile hole, then enter the dragon hole.”

Xin became curious and asked. But Tang Li had already walked away.

Xin Mei just looked at him without wanting to chase him. He then turned around and wanted to express his intention to order An Hua to kill Tang Li.

However, Suddenly An Hua moved as fast as a shadow headed towards her.

Xin Mei reflexively wanted to avoid, but she did not have the time to do so, and could only fall forward wanting to run.

He closed his eyes and heard the sound of a sword complaint. As she opened her eyes, Tang Li was in front of her and protecting her.

Xin Mei subconsciously asked why.

“Because you are my friend.”

“But I want to kill you..”

“weird girl, did you not feel any pain after you were struck by lightning from the sky?”

“No.”

“Stupid. It's his act, you won't get happiness here other than death.”

Tang Li carried Xin Mei and jumped away.

“Do you still want to be with him?” Tang Li asked looking at Xin Mei after landing.

Xin Mei's face was filled with a red hue, making her even more beautiful to look at. Tang Li wanted to tease her, yet she suddenly remembered why she did it. So he just took down Xin Mei.

He then held onto Xin Mei's wrist and pulled her behind his body.

Xin Mei simply complied without saying a word. But his face was flushed more, and his heart was beating faster.

“Xin May, do you really want to be with her?”

“No. But I also don't want to be with you forever. I want to be free.”

“Then from it, do not do strange things.”

Tang Li jumped up and landed a few steps in front of An Hua.

“Let's fight to capture it.”

“While he chose you or me, in the end we will still fight to win it. There is nothing we get without sacrificing something, whether very bad or not.” A dagger came out from Han Funya.

Stepping forward, An Hua moved quickly, revealing her white and beautiful thighs.

Tang Li also moved.

He then took off his sword. His sword was hovering motionlessly at his sides with incredible speed. Then he pointed at An Hua with his right index finger. Right at that moment, his sword shot out at high speed with a green aura surrounding him.

An Hua leaped onto Tang Li's sword blade and moved forward. However, the Sword turned around and attacked him intensely. Around his body were visible green streaks that were the sword itself, attacking him with terrifying speed.

Tang Li then pulled his sword back.

An Hua was silent. Blood dripped on some parts of his body, but he did not fall.

He then raised his head to look at Tang Li as he incubated. Then, a yellow light appeared around him and healed him.

A bow appeared in his hand. Directing it to Tang Li, then pulling the thread.

“In the end there was only one thing I had to do. Why should I do unnecessary things.”

He then released his arrows.

The arrow was filled with black ink that glittered as the sunlight explained it. Moving at high speed towards Tang Li. From a distance it would look like a bright black-colored lightning.

Tang Li directly swung his sword forward to slash it. However, his sword only slashed at the wind. He then looked at An Hua.

“You lost....” he said as he gazed in the other direction, where Xin Mei was.

Is correct... The arrow pierced Xin Mei's chest. Blood like ink was coming out of his body. His face began to turn blue, and both of his eyelids widened for some reason.

Tang Li quickly rushed over to him. He laid her down and began to heal her. Blue colored energy outward from both of his palms.

But after she finished her treatment, Xin Mei's wounds again formed and spat out blood.

“I've put poison into his body. In a few minutes, he will die horribly,” An Hua said.

Tang Li understood what was happening, so he stopped his attempt and stood up, then jumped a few meters away from An Hua standing up.

With her cold gaze, she said in a heavy tone. “ by beating you, I can get the antidote, right?”

“Not at all. I have decided to make poison without an antidote, because I am confident in my decision.”

“If that's the truth, then I can just send you along with him, right?”

Tang Li then tore his clothes off, revealing his dense and hard chest muscles. On his left arm was a black flame tattoo, up to his shoulder.

“Is this your true strength?” an Hua asked without being the slightest bit intimidated.

“Only a little.”

When Tang Li replied, the tattoos moved extending all the way to his wrist. Then, a black sphere appeared in his hand and formed a long black sword.

An Hua focused all her attention more on Tang Li. She was sure, if Tang Li was serious with her at the moment.

He then pulled out his bow, then released the arrow and repeated it again twice quickly. One arrow moves pass, one moves curved upward, and the last curves downward.

Tang Li jumped back up. Right he was in the air, the three arrows were already very close to him.

Tang Li fused the two algae of his sword and twisted them smashing the three arrows.

He separated his sword, then stepped on the air and shot out at high speed towards An Hua.
