Chapter 48: she enjoys sadness with a smile

Jia Hu was disappointed. But he looked at Xin Mei and smiled. “Do not think too much about it, later you will regret.”

Xin Mei nodded.

Jia Hu then stood up and walked away. Just then, she saw Tang Li taking a walk enjoying the atmosphere under the tree and looking at every inch of the branches up there.

Jia Hu knew, Tang Li had been reminiscing about his past with Jia Jia, the girl he loved first and brought a breath of fresh air.

She walks and sits beside him. “kakak, are you going to send her to the brothel?”

Jia Hu had learned of Tang Li's plan to send the girl to the brothel. But she was sure, Tang Li wasn't really going to do it. The man had fallen in love, yet had no idea what he was feeling at the moment. Whether he likes it or not.

Jia Hu asked seriously. She was unsure and believed what Tang Li said. How could the man not have any feelings for the girl who had been in his company for a few days in bed. And how could it be, they held each other's hands, and Xin Mei kept wanting her presence.

Hearing Tang Li's words, she was really confused by what had happened.

He had no idea what caused it that way. Usually he only spoke a little and did not have the strange attitude that had been expressed two days before.

Xin approached Tang Li at that moment. She sat down beside him and asked, “Are we always going to be together?”

Tang Li coldly replied, “No. From the beginning we will never be together. I never wanted you. Everything I do is for the justice of my parents.”

“Your parents have developed a dark force, my father and mother who have killed him for the safety of the world.”

Xin Mei could not believe every word that came out of her mouth, but somehow those words stabbed her deeply.

Tang Li then stood up. “We live in a different world, and will always be like that.”

She had no idea why Tang Li's attitude had changed so drastically like that. He felt an even colder aura envelop his body.

He then went inside the room where the girl he had been with was. He just looked from far away.

When he saw her fall asleep, he felt calm, then left from there.

Jia Hu had observed what had happened, he had learned everything from Xin Mei. However, He did not know what caused Tang Li to say that way. She remembered once, Tang Li liked the girl, but somehow changed her mind.

He seems to have to investigate further.
