"Greencliff is a trap and you shouldn't underestimate it" says Victor Torres. "Xavier May died at Greencliff, don't you all know about that?"
"Of course," Gage replied calmly. "Mr Torres, do you know why the Torres family remains a third-rate family and cannot advance?"
Victor Torres was surprised by this question.
It was not that he had never considered this matter before, but it was true that even after his family had Xavier and had controlled Fairbanks for over twenty years, his family had never advanced at all.
The Torres family was considered the most powerful of the third level families and not too far away from the second level families.
But he couldn't get to the second level.
"Mr Torres, that's your heart" Gage pointed to where Victor Torres' heart was. "Your heart is not brave enough."
Victor Torres doesn't know how to respond.
She felt ashamed of herself when she heard a younger person say that to her, but she could not argue back.
"I can promise you that once the matter is over, Fairbanks will be split equally between you and the Prescott family. The Saxons and the Hale family won't interfere because we just want Starling City!"
He reached out and patted Victor Torres on the shoulder and smiled, "Don't worry, working with my family means you'll only profit, and you won't lose."
Although the fight had yet to begin, Gage felt that he could already smell victory in the air. He just needs to sit here quietly and wait, then gather the fruits of victory later.
It's all gonna end tonight.
Victor Torres didn't say it anymore because he knew whatever he was saying now was useless.
It is a game played by the Saxons and the Hale family. The Torres family and the Prescott family were just tools the Saxons used to attract Greencliff's attention.
He only hoped that Gage's plan would work. But there was an unpleasant and uneasy feeling in his heart.
Everyone's attention was now on Greencliff and all eyes were on that imposing-sounding forbidden territory. But no one knew if they could withstand the terrifying attack that befell them tonight.
It was raining at Greencliff.
The sea breeze howled and the clear sky was filled with gray clouds in an instant as lightning struck and thunder struck.
Both of them did not seem panicked and both looked calm and steady.
"Ready?" ask Tom Foster.
"I've spread the net, so we're just waiting for all the little fish and shrimp to get here" Butler Zed replied with a bright smile. "Of course we can't be constantly looked down upon, right?"
What makes Greencliff's forbidden territory scary is not Ethan himself. There are ... many others as well.
"I wonder what the weather is like in Starling City," Tom Foster got up and walked to the window. He looked out and calmly said, "Rain day is very good. Good for killing people."
…
Meanwhile.
Jalak City.
The night wind is blowing softly.
There was not a single soul around the small pavilion inside the Gelatic mansion.
Inside the pavilion, there was only Sabine and Ethan.
He gently pours a cup of tea for Ethan. The movements were clean and the aroma of tea spread into the air, so the entire pavilion was filled with a dazzling aroma.
Water droplets would drip at a constant speed onto the roof of the pavilion, and it sounded like it was dripping into one's heart.
"Mrs. Hunt, our tea is over. I'll take it again, just give me two minutes."
Sabine got up and the high-splitting qipao showed off his perfect figure completely, but Ethan did not even glance at her.
He turned to look at the four figures walking slowly and he tapped his fingers on the table.
"Good, I'll kill some people!"
