This story starts from the kingdom of Panjalu with the capital of Daha or Kediri. King Kediri had two daughters. The first is Goddess Chandrakirana, the second is Goddess Ajeng. Since childhood, Chandrakirana's mother died of illness. The king then married again. With his new empress, he had a daughter named Dewi Ajeng.

Chandrakirana is a beautiful girl, kind in her senses, her feelings are subtle, and her heart is soft.

Meanwhile Dewi Ajeng the new empress' daughter. Her face was also beautiful but still more beautiful and gentle Chandrakirana face. There is a shadow of a cruel and rigid character in Dewi Ajeng.

King Panjalu had planned to match Chandrakirana with Raden lnu Kertapati from the kingdom of Jenggala.

A month ago Raden lnu Kertapati had visited Daha. He has seen and known Chandrakirana. They both feel good, one handsome and the other beautiful.

King Daha had already planned that forty days from the introduction would be an official engagement.

Raden Inu Kertapati with the Jenggala palace family will come to propose to Chandrakirana. The engagement time is only a few days away. Chandrakirana has prepared herself to the best of her ability.

“Can't! I will not let Chandrakirana side by side with Raden Inu Kertapati,“ muttered the envious and jealous Dewi Ajeng.

In the evening Dewi Ajeng conferred with his mother. The mother suggested to go to the grandmother of Ragak Ireng. The famous female shaman potent magic. For the sake of his ideals coupled with Raden Inu Kertapati he willingly went far to the place of grandmother Crow lreng.

After getting supplies from the shaman, the Goddess Ajeng immediately returned to the palace. At midnight he arrived at the palace with a lethargic body due to a long journey.

“We should be able to expel Chandrakirana from this palace. How to Bu?”

The empress was silent for a moment, then smiled brightly. He remembered Chandrakirana's daily duty of serving a cup of tea to his father. That is what the Queen will use.

Tomorrow the plan is executed. Before Chandrakirana does her job. The Queen quietly entered the kitchen. Put poison in the tea glass that the court attendant had prepared to take Chandrakirana to his father. The empress' heart thumped. Because when he was about to get out of the kitchen door he passed Chandrakirana.

“Oh, mother...why bother to the kitchen?” Chandrakirana.

“No...nothing. I only came to see-See the work of the servants only.”

“Thank you Mother has been paying attention to the preparation of the servants to welcome the arrival of Raden Inu Kertapati.” said Chandrakirana innocently. This girl thought the empress was sympathetic to her.

As usual, Chandrakirana delivered a cup of tea to her father. This is done to bring the relationship between father and son closer. Usually, while drinking tea they talk about family.

The Prabu drinks half the contents of the tea cup. It feels warm in his throat and stomach.

“Hem, your tea is delicious my son,”tujar the Prabu.

“Thank you Rama Prabu.” sahut Chandrakirana.

But a moment later the Prabu held his stomach which felt nauseous. The nausea is getting worse.

“Rama Prabu...!”chandrakirana.

”Why Rama Prabu ….. ? What's the matter?”

But the Prabu instead of answering, his pair of eyes seemed to be whizzing, his breath was beheaded. Then even vomit blood. Chandrakirana soon hugged her father who was about to collapse.

The Empress pointed towards Chandrakirana.”What have you done? How you're gonna kill your own father. You must have poisoned him.”

“No! There is no way I poisoned Rama Prabu whom I so dear”

The Prabu was immediately lifted into the bed. The palace physician immediately came to inspect. The face of this Kediri palace health expert looked tense. He examined the body of the Prabu carefully. A few moments later the Physician breathed a sigh of relief. Even though the Prabu has not regained consciousness.

“She was poisoned ..... ”ujar the Tabib.”But the poison is not very ferocious. However, he had to rest for a few days.”

Tomorrow the king of siuman. He really did not think his own biological daughter meant to make him wretched.

“Chandrakirana, what exactly do you want?”

“Ananda only wants the health and happiness of Rama Prabu.” replied Chandrakirana

“But the proof is that you tried to kill me!”

“Not the culprit.”

“Law must be upheld in this kingdom. No exception for my own son. Evidence and witnesses have incriminated your accusation of evil deeds. You should have been sentenced to death. But I'm wise enough, you must leave this palace.”

“Rama Prabu should investigate this issue even more deeply. Ananda is innocent.”

“You must leave this palace!”

With tears Chandrakirana was forced to leave Kediri's palace. Now he was alone and had no one. He stepped aimlessly. With the patter of the eyes he continued to walk until he reached the beach.

Unbeknownst to Chandrakirana since earlier from a distance Dewi Ajeng and Grandma Crow Ireng followed him secretly.

“Grandparents Ireng the her Chandrakirana!” whispered Goddess Ajeng.

“Yes, I already know. You wait here! Let me take care of it myself!” said Granny Crow Ireng

The old grandmother rushed to Chandrakirana. Once close enough. The grandmother read the spell. The black stick in his hand was thrust into the air several times. He took a deep breath until his stomach grew.

Dewi Ajeng who was beside Grandma Crow Ireng shuddered in fear. Just then Chandrakirana was near a rock, the Magic Grandmother exhaled her air and stomach with all her might.

“Wusss!”

“Blessss!”

A strong wind full of magic air charged towards Chandrakirana. Chandrakirana's body slammed into the water. As soon as it touched the sea water Chandrakirana's body suddenly turned into a golden-colored snail.

Dewi Ajeng caught the conch . Then with all his might the conch was thrown into the middle of the sea.

“Thank you, Grandma!” said Dewi Ajeng while taking out his money bag. “It's money for Grandma because it has managed to help me.”

Chandrakirana was tossed in the middle of the sea by the waves. The poor girl could do nothing but pray that the Supreme God would help her and bring her back ashore.

Chandrakirana is a gentle and kind girl. Doa. The waves slowly brought him near the quiet beach.

Coincidentally on the edge of the beach there was an old grandmother who was looking for fish. This grandmother had intended to go home, but she still spread her little net. Now he got another fish that is quite large. He feels very grateful. He put the net in the water. Now he's paddling his canoe home.

Chandrakirana which is now a snail carried by the waves to the edge. la crept on a black stone. Coincidentally the old grandmother moored her canoe not far from the conch was located.

Then, he took the golden snail and placed it with the fish in the fish basket. The golden snail was now relieved that it was no longer adrift at sea. He wanted to express his gratitude to the grandmother, but unfortunately he could not speak.

Not long after, the old granny took him to a small hut. The fish caught that day, he put it on a jar, including a golden snail.

A golden snail was placed near the water jug, inside his house. He then found firewood to cook. Soon he came back to process his fish.

At night the grandmother was exhausted. He slept with Ielap. That night without his knowledge. The golden conch turned into a beautiful girl - who was none other than Candrakirana.

It turned out that the influence of magic disappeared if night had come. The next morning when I woke up the grandmother was shocked. On the dining table, inside his house has been lined with various kinds of delicious food.

After breakfast the grandmother went to the beach to find fish. That afternoon the fate of the grandmother was a little less good. He has tried his hardest to catch fish. But until late afternoon only one fish was found.

With a shaky step he went home. If it was just one he could not exchange it for rice or other foodstuffs at the village market. Exhausted and disappointed, he soon rested. Not long after that, he fell asleep until the morning. That morning he was surprised again by the delicious dishes on the table.

The golden snail only realized that the curse of the witch was lost at night. Therefore, for several hours, he could return to his human form. He took advantage of the situation to express his gratitude to the fisherman's grandmother by cooking food for her.

The incident at the dinner table did not happen once, but repeatedly. It made the fisherman's grandmother curious. So curious, one day after looking for fish grandma fisherman pretend to sleep.

Evening has arrived. Slowly, Grandma nailed her eyes. He looked at what was happening inside his house. It was a shock that he was made. He saw a golden snail transformed into a beautiful princess. Hurry him up from the bed.

“Who are you?” ask the fisherman's grandmother.

Chandrakirana. shocked once suddenly reprimanded grandmother fisherman, “I Chandrakirana princess of Daha Kingdom. Somehow, I suddenly became a golden snail.”

“Then, why are you cooking food for me?” ask the fisherman's grandmother.

“I want to thank you because grandma has saved me from the seaside,” said Chandrakirana.

“Oh, you are the incarnation of the golden snail I found on the beach?”

“True grandma, please let me stay in this house with grandma.”

“Not why? You can stay in this place. I'll think of you as my own son.”

“Thank you good grandma.”

Thus, if during the day Chandrakirana turned into a golden snail. When night falls, she becomes a beautiful girl.

Don't worry my son,” said the grandmother.”I'm sure you're a good man. Let us together ceaselessly plead with the Lord that you may be restored as you were.”

“Thank you grandma.”

Since then, Chandrakirana has lived with her grandmother, Mbok Rondo Dadap. Every night the grandmother prayed to God that Chandrakirana would be restored.

Meanwhile somewhere else. In a village far from the city. There was a handsome young man wandering about.

“Oh Dinda Chandrakirana... .where are you?” The young man was none other than Raden Inu Kertapati. He has traveled to various villages in search of Chandrakirana who has disappeared from the palace.

One day he met an old man on the side of the road.

“My young man has three days not eaten yet,” the old man's moans. Reden Panji approached and asked the grandfather to take shelter under the guava tree. He picked some guava fruit that was cooking for the grandfather.

“Thank you very well !” said the grandfather.

“Actually where are you going?”

Raden lnu Kertapati replied “I am looking for princess Chandrakirana who was expelled from the kingdom of Kediri.”

The grandfather muttered and then showed him the way to where the Princess Raden lnu Kertapati then continued his journey following the path that the grandfather had shown. He asked people in every village he passed by about Princess Chandrakirana.

finally, he arrived at a village on the beach. For several days without eating or drinking, he felt very thirsty. He asked for a drink from one of the residents. The resident happened to be Mbok Rondo Dadap.

“Sorry Grandma, can I ask for a sip of water?” ask Raden lnu Kertapati politely.

“Oh, can... .severa grandma get it! ”answered the grandmother.

Grandma went into the house. Raden Inu Kertapati is still out of the house

When grandma returned with a jug of water, Raden lnu Kertapati asked“ What granny cook?”

“O..But Grandma who cook.”ansi granny that none other than Mbok Rondo Dadap also explained at length about Chandrakirana who was cursed into a Golden Conch and found by the sea.

“So the cook in the kitchen is Chandrakirana?” tanya Raden Inu Kertapati very happy

"Please Nek find us both!”

Grandma Dadap then called Princess Chandrakirana.

“Prince lnu Kertapati !” Princess Chandrakirana shouted excitedly to meet her lover who was disguised as an ordinary citizen. That same day, Prince Inu invited Princess Chandrakirana with Grandma Dadap back to the Palace.

When Prince Inu and Princess Candra Kiran had arrived in the kingdom of Kediri, Dewi Ajeng was very shocked. Soon he met the magician. The magic grandmother said that her magic would be lost if Chandrakirana had met Prince Inu.

Dewi Ajeng is very angry , she snapped ”Why didn't you tell me from the first time!”.

“What do you want?” the magic grandmother turned against the Goddess Ajeng. “You want me to be a Frog?”

“No! Don't nek!” dewiajeng.

“You should know and feel what it would be like if you turned into a snail!”

“Don't grandma! Don't!”

But too late, the already angry grandmother of the crows had bewitched her into a conch. It's just that the color is not gold, the snail is black. Be the black-colored Goddess Ajeng conch.

A day after that event Raden Inu Kertapati and Chandrakirana held an engagement and soon they had a marriage and lived happily ever after.
