S2 - The Past

Their days passed smoothly. With peace though sometimes there are small debates as a spice in the household.

They complement each other and become healers for each other. Sharing jokes, sharing grievances, sharing warmth at night after the body feels tired with the activities of the outside world. The warmth that further strained their relationship, the warmth that restored the energy to be ready for tomorrow.

There are almost no significant obstacles for the two to undergo marriage status at their young age.

"Al. You don't need to change father to be CEO, do you? Your work as an architect is enough for our living expenses. What else tar if we have graduated, you can focus more on cooperation." pinta Tiara. Plays her index finger over the chest of her husband's field that is still not wrapped in clothes after their regular hot activities tonight. The chest that was still filled with sweat the rest of their struggle.

"Why?" sahut Alvaro's. Keep his eyes closed with a breath that is still not regular.

"Gue was afraid that the events of daddy would happen again." never before had Tiara told such a painful story when she was too small to understand a breakup, even at Pricilla. Because to him, it was just the carelessness that daddy Alvin made that no outsider needed to know about. What only outsiders see is her harmonious family today. Both parents are harmonious, except for the sad story of that one.

"What's daddy?"

"Mommy used to leave the house. Oma and the others said that mommy was busy with her work so it was not easy to go home because it was far away." Tiara's eyes looked away into the past with a stinging pain. "Mommy used to be just about to open her music school right. But I'm not that small to know what really happened."

"The second day mommy didn't come home, after daddy nemenin I slept, diem-diem I got off the bed after daddy came out of the room. I saw daddy in an irahin with Opa. Said daddy slept with his secretary in the office when he didn't come home."

Alvaro's eyes widened to hear him. Because of what he's seen all along. Her father-in-law loved Mommy Shevi very much. In fact, they are not ashamed to show their affection in front of their children including themselves.

"I used to think the thing called sleeping was sleeping. I don't know what sleep means to adults. I get angry in my heart with mommy. Why is mommy angry and not coming home just because daddy slept with his secretary? do you want to share your daddy with someone else? is mommy also angry if daddy sleeps with me? I still don't understand. Although almost every day I tantrum because mommy does not go home." Tiara's voice has vibrated. Alvaro could feel the pain in his wife's voice.

"I'm mad. Why didn't mommy come home? does mommy not love me anymore? does mommy want to leave me as rich as daddy?" distanced herself to be able to look her husband in the eyes. "You know Al, if I was born without marital status?"

Alvaro nodded despite feeling unwell. At once feeling guilty about what he often did to his wife in the past only to kill his love for the girl before him.

"I've been living without a daddy for almost five years I've lived Al. I was often sad when in school my friends in the same school anter daddy. Sad when their family school event is complete, while I only have mommy. Although there is Uncle Ray who is very dear to me. But I knew enough that she wasn't my daddy." she buried her face in her husband's chest.

"I just found out I have a complete family. I just thought I was happy to get a father's love. But why replace the mommy who left. Do they not care about the feelings of little girls who always expect a hug both simultaneously. Why are they the same as me?"

Alvaro was silent. Between bewildered to respond as to what and wait for his wife to continue to issue the grunts that may be the girl pacifist all this time.

"Until one day a woman with an enlarged stomach enters the house. The woman who introduced herself to me called me mother. I know her name is mommy. And I don't know why I should call her mama, until she explains that she's married to daddy and there's a baby sister in her belly. Until then I knew why mommy left home and refused to go home. Because what I know, getting married means loving each other, loving each other like mom and dad. And if daddy married another woman will even soon get a baby sister, it means daddy is not in love with mommy. I was sad, I was sick to imagine mommy crying alone. Trust me Al, it's really painful to see mommy cry." Tiara's tears flooded Alvaro's chest.

"I've often seen mommy cry in them in New York. Maybe mommy kangen used to be the same daddy who knows where. After marriage, I never saw mommy cry again. Even all I see is the same happiness that I felt when I was with daddy. And at that time I couldn't shadow mommy crying alone."

Alvaro's throat was blocked. It never crossed his mind if daddy Alvin had ever married a woman other than his mother-in-law. "So daddy once married another woman." asked Alvaro in a soft voice.

Tiara nodded. "It's been a few months. Even because of the problem, mommy to miscarriage. Mommy didn't know she was pregnant until my sister left."

Tiara recounts how her daddy was kicked out of the house with her stepmom, because mommy Shevi was angry when she caught her stepmom forcing her to eat by gripping her chin. Until the end of the two of them were kicked out of Opa's house without any facilities.

"But just how many months do I forget. He said daddy was just in the trap. Daddy never cheated on mommy that long. It's all a trap and the kid's not daddy's kid."

Alvaro hugged a small body that had gone through a lot of hard time in his life. Kissing his wife's forehead is a touch of pride because his wife can go through the difficult times well. He grew up well until he became his current wife.

"That's why I don't want it to happen again Al. I don't want you flirting with your secretary later. A father who is not nervous can be trapped until the household is almost destroyed. What else if you get excited. Mommy's a great woman. A strong woman. Pregnant without husband. I am a single mother. Just got married and got rich. Maybe if I were mommy, I'd rather kill myself Al. Anyway, I don't accept the name betrayal. I don't want to be a widow either!" exclaim Tiara firmly.

"You won't have such a complicated problem again. I promise yank. You'll be a strong woman to me without the same way as mommy. I believe you are a strong woman to be my life companion until our hair is equally bleached. Our bodies are equally old. We will always hold hands. Don't ever let go of our hands no matter what." Tiara nodded in agreement.

"Every household has its own test. Maybe mommy tested by pregnant without a husband and betrayed. Daddy was tested by being kept away with his first love and not being trusted. I'm also sure, someday there will be a test for our household as well." tightened his embrace. Even though in his mouth he said that. But in his heart Alvaro cringes himself if a storm within his household is present and separates them.

"We just need to prepare ourselves to face the storm that will come for us later. We just need to cultivate our love and trust so that it is sturdy and does not shake as big as any storm we receive later." touching his wife's chin to look into his eyes.

"You want to hold my hand no matter what happens?" Tiara nodded firmly.

"Do you believe we can get through it?" any more. Tiara nodded with a smile etched on her face.

Alvaro returned the smile of his wife and landed a fleeting kiss on the lips of his wife. "Thank you dear. You have to remember this! I'll always be a shield for you no matter what happens up ahead. I will stand up straight to take you to my old days. No one can take off our fingers grasping each other with the power of our love."

It was a relief to hear her husband's words. For a girl who had a painful past like her, it was difficult for Tiara to put her full trust in men. But now he believes that Alvaro can lead him to happiness into old age. Believe that the young man will hold his word tonight.

"By the way, even if I had to put in my dad's effort. I'm gonna find a guy's secretary just let you at home not worry."

Many dreams for the family he built with Tiara. There was no way he would just be the architect of the vocation like this moment. At least he should have a big company that he built himself.
