S2 - Praying for the Best
"There was my in-laws." Alvaro asked Bobby as soon as he saw his parents in the middle of his friend's birthday party.
Bobby follows Alvaro to a couple who still look very young despite having two grandchildren.
"Dad, mom." said Alvaro to his in-laws. Not to forget also the man kissed his second hand in the follow Bobby.
"You guys here too?" mommy Shevi asked both of them.
"Lupita was our college friend's mom." explained Alvaro.
"Ooh.. Why is Tiara the same as the children are not invited?" mommy Shevi's question is like cornering Alvaro.
Not from his tone, but also from the look in his eyes. Makes Alvaro feel bad on his own.
"There's a practicum mom again, so I can't go."
Old man Tiara nodded in understanding.
"Yes, already. You go on with your friends. Daddy wants to see someone who has a wish first."
The couple walked away from Alvaro and Bobby.
"Capable lo, Al. Just came to a girl's party aja nyoknya Tiara already so natapnya. How about if you know you have to play with Pita." said Bobby scares Alvaro with his trademark grin.
"Damn lo! I'm not playing!"
Only Alvaro would raise his hand to shake the head of his best friend, Pita had approached the two.
"Hi, Al. Bob. It's old?"
The two greet back and wish Pita a happy birthday. Here is prayer and hope.
"Yuk. I know my parents. I really want to know you, Al. The young man is talented." invite Pita spirit. The girl drew Alvaro's hand as the two men looked at each other with doubt.
"Father, mama. Recognize, Alvaro's a frequent Ribbon story." Pita hugged Alvaro's arm when introducing the man. "If this one's Bobby, Pita's classmate is too."
Alvaro removed the ribbon's hand from his arm as he was about to shake the girl's parents' hands.
Not far from them, Shevi's mommy who had just left both Pita's parents after greeting and congratulating, saw the interaction of her son-in-law.
The woman was furious to see Pita who very clearly showed her interest in the son-in-law. His mind started to wander. He did not want his eldest daughter to be hurt.
"Mas, see that son-in-law?" mommy Shevi whispered because they were talking to her husband's other business clients.
Daddy Alvin turned to look at his wife. Although Pita no longer hugged Alvaro's arm, but it was clear that the woman was attracting the attention of her son-in-law.
"Leave it. They're just friends." said daddy Alvin.
"Friends what's like that?! indeed Alvaro did not tell his friends what, if he was married?!" mommy Shevi whispered in a whisper.
Even until the event blew the candles and cut the cake, Alvaro pulled the girl to stand with him in front there with the girl's parents.
Alvaro doesn't feel good about rejecting Pita on the girl's happy day. Making Alvaro though with a heavy heart still obey the request of Pita.
Occasionally his eyes glanced at where his in-laws were. Daddy Alvin looks ordinary. But indeed daddy Alvin is good at disguising his feelings.
But not with mommy Shevi. The woman who had given birth to the wife clearly did not like it.

On the way home, Mommy Shevi continued to nag the husband for his daughter-in-law's attitude.
"He should be able to put limits on the opposite sex. He is married! I have two kids! his wife is tired at home, she even has fun with the woman out there!"
Daddy Alvin shook his head to see his wife so excited.
"What's not happening yet? obviously the girl hugged our son when familiar with her parents. And what the fuck was Alvaro just wanted to be invited to the front." exclaimed mommy Shevi still did not accept.
"If a girl takes a guy to the front for her birthday, it means that guy is a special guy in the girl's heart! or maybe they have a special relationship!"
"Mom!" reprimand daddy Alvin when his wife begins to accuse without them having definitive proof. "We know for ourselves that Alvaro came with Bobby."
"Yes that. The tape has a show. So there's no way he's coming with Alvaro."
Daddy Alvin is back. Not knowing how else to calm his wife.
"But mommy can't take a child that mommy grew up so hard to hurt! mommy knows what it's like to cheat! and mommy won't let mommy's kids feel the same way!"
Telak. Daddy Alvin feels shunned. Although the past problem was just a trap not for his actions. But if he doesn't fall, it won't happen. His wife will not be hurt. And their second child will not leave them so soon.
"Who do you want to call?" daddy Alvin asked as soon as his wife put a cell phone to his ear.
"It's our son!" replied mommy Shevi still in a trenchant tone. Though his anger with whom, who in sinisin, diethusin, dikuekin who. Fate of being a husband. My wife is always right.
"Don't tell me, baby. Let's see first what it really is. We also don't interfere too much with their problems."

"Sir papa. I'm sorry." it's mommy Shevi. "Whose children are in the same house? same with your husband?"
"No. Alvaro has an invitation to his college birthday party."
Tiara's reply slightly eased the heat in her heart. At least Alvaro was honest with his daughter.
"Aren't you invited?"
"On ajakin. I'm only practicum today, so I can't go."
The more cooling the emotions mommy Shevi has on her daughter-in-law.
"Oohs. His friend knows you as Alvaro's wife?"
"I don't know which birthday it is. Only as far as I know all the children in the same class Alvaro know that he is married. Why the hell mom?" tiara Tanya felt weird about Mommy Shevi's question.
"Eh. Not pa-pa. Kirain does not know if Alvao is married, so you are not in ajakin." replied mommy Shevi slightly stuttered.
"You should take better care of your husband, brother. Do not let the seeds of the pelakor appear."
Daddy Alvin, who had been focusing on driving, looked at his wife in horror. His wife could have said that to her son.
His son across the street laughed. "Mommy mostly watches flying fish soap operas. Alvaro wouldn't dare to be rich. Want to lose his wife's child what, dare to cheat? It's already mom. I have to go to class again."
Mommy Shevi sighed as the call ended. His son was always straight-minded. If you believe in someone, even if that person is lying, your child will still believe.
