"Are you and your husband separated?" asked Arvan carefully.


Sabrina stared intently at the man before her.


"Sorry, if my question is wrong." Arvan said nervously.


"Mas Arvan here just wanted to ask that?" ask Sabrina ketus.


"Not really," he answered.


"Then?"


"Why don't you sell cakes and bread anymore?"


"I'm not going to go on anymore, Mom."


"Why?"


"In the meantime I will move to another city" replied Sabrina.


"Moved? Where to?" cecar Arvan's.


"To the city of M" answered Sabrina.


"I plan to open a branch in the city" he said.


"So Meli has also told stories" said Sabrina.


"What if you work there?"


"Sorry, Mas. I can't," he answered.


"Why?"


"I don't want to owe Mas Arvan a favor" he replied.


"Don't talk like that, I'm sincere in helping you" Arvan explained.

"No but-but, you can work for a while in my shop if there is a better job." Arvan said.

"When are you moving?"


"Maybe three or four more days" replied Sabrina.

They walk towards the cafe parking lot, Arvan opens the door for Sabrina.


Judis happened to be in the same place, seeing his ex-wife along with another man.

Judis followed Arvan's car, arriving at Sabrina's mother's house. The man did the same thing by opening the door.


"Is he Sabrina's new boyfriend? Have they had a relationship all this time?" inner Judah.

A few days later, Judis came to her former father-in-law's house. He wants to meet his ex-wife.


"Is Sabrina there, Auntie?"


"Sabrina is not here anymore" Mila replied.


"Where is he going?" Judis curious.


"So morning he left" he answered again.


"Where to go?"


"I'm sorry, Yudis. I can't tell her."


Judis smiled faintly. "If I may know, does Sabrina already have a future husband?"


Mila scrunched her forehead. "He never told me" he said.


"Oh, so yeah. Then excuse me, Auntie."


"Yes, son."

"Are you sure you're not staying with us?" tanya Aunt Lala, Sabrina's cousin.


"No, Aunt. Sabrina will look for boarding houses close to the store" he said.


"Yes, rest up. Tomorrow we will take you to the store that you mean," said Aunt Lala.


Sabrina went into the room, and she lay down on the bed. His eyes stared at the ceiling. A shadow of Judis appeared in his mind. There is a sense of longing and sadness of being one.


"I cannot think of Mas Judis" he said, shaking his head.


Just closing his eyes, his phone rang.


"Mother," he murmured. He picked up his phone and answered the call.


"Hello, Mom!"


"Hello, Son. What are you doing again?"


"You're sleeping, Mom. Tomorrow Sabrina started working at Mas Arvan's shop" he replied.


"Last afternoon, Judis went home."


"What did Judis come home to?"


"Don't tell Mas Judis that Sabrina is here!"


"Mom wouldn't tell without your permission" Mila said.


"Thank you, Mom."


"Yes, you rest. Don't think about Judis anymore" Mila said.


"Mom why did you know Sabrina again thought of Mas Judis?"


"You're Mom's son, you know each other and are close for almost 7 years. It's not that easy to forget it" Mila replied.


"Yes, Mom. Sabrina will try to forget him" he promised.


"Yes, already. Good night, son!"

"Aren't you hungry?" asked Arvan in the car.

"Why is that? I am a new employee starting work," he said.

"Mas Arvan is going to this town often?" ask Sabrina.


"A month can be here twice, especially if there is you maybe I will stay here" replied Arvan.


Sabrina scrunched her forehead

"Just twice, first when the father and mother were still together at the age of 3 years and second five years ago. Now I want to find a job here instead" Sabrina replied with a smile.

Arvan chuckles at Sabrina's words.

"Yes, Mas Arvan never smiles. Always get angry, so get old fast." Sabrina Ejek.


"You said I was old? Want to cut his pay?"
