Forgetting the Ex
Chapter 25

"Son, you said you had friends. Who's she?" ask the Goddess to Karin.

"Which friend, Auntie?"

"The friend you said once took your lover first" replied the Goddess.

"Oh, that. Why is Aunt asking that?"

"Tante does not want you to be hurt by Arvan, too" said Dewi.

"I can't tell you that, Auntie."

"Why?"

"We were friends at the time but he took my lover" Karin said.

"Have you asked him why he took your lover?"

"She said my girlfriend was tired of me and I was too busy with my career" Karin replied. "When I want to pursue my ideals as a manager in the company where I work," he continued.

"Where is your friend now?"

"Tante, why ask about him?"

"Hmm.that's because Auntie wants to ask him the truth directly," replied the Goddess.

"Tante, don't believe me!" karin began to get upset.

"Tante, trust you. What's wrong with proving you're innocent? Arvan also accused you, but we don't really believe him." Obviously Goddess.

"So, Arvan accused me of cheating?" ask Karin.

"Why can you guess that? Though Aunty has no story," said Dewi.

"Because Arvan spoke to me" said Karin.

"Oh so, so Auntie can talk to that woman. How about we meet him?"

"Hmm.if we meet the three maybe he won't. What if Auntie's the one talking?"

"All right, Auntie will talk. You give me the address," Pinta Dewi.

Karin also gave her friend's address, through paper writing.

"Tante will meet him when he comes home later" said Dewi.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Sir, we're at this address!" Dewi thrust a piece of paper at his driver.

The speed of the vehicle went to the home address given by Karin.

"I hope Karin doesn't lie" he said.

Arriving at the house, the Goddess knocked on the door.

"Who's looking, Mom?" ask the middle-aged woman.

"Find Ranti" he answered.

"What happened to my son, yesterday someone was looking for him too" she said.

The goddess opened her sunglasses and asked again. "Someone, which mother does she mean? Is she a young lady?"

"Yes, the same age as my son." His word.

"Can I meet him?" ask Goddess.

"Can, Mom. I'll call him in a minute!"

Soon Ranti came out with a confused face.

"Sorry, who are you?"

"Include me Dewi, Karin's future in-law." He answered while extending his hand.

Ranti replied to the middle-aged woman's hand. "What else does that woman want? It's not enough that he once destroyed me," he said.

"Destroying, how?"

"He who seized my future husband, yesterday he threatened, now he sent Aunt here!"

"Prospective husband didn't you take it?"

Ranti smiled cynically, "Smart also she reversed the facts."

"Are you guys friends?"

"No, Auntie!"

"Say you're friends?"

"Since when? We've only met a few times, she's a friend of my ex-husband-to-be."

"Then, what about your future husband?"

"Ex, Aunt!"

"Oh yeah, sorry."

"I don't know, the last time he worked in a mobile store in front of Bunga street," said Ranti.

"Can you take me there?"

"Can, Auntie!"

Ranti also drove Dewi to meet her ex-husband.

"Why does Aunt want to know Karin's past?" ask Ranti.

"I don't want our son to marry the wrong person" replied Dewi.

Arriving there, Dewi met a man who was estimated to be the same age as Karin.

"Ranti, are you here?"swipe with a happy face.

"I'm here to take Aunt Goddess to see you" he replied.

"Well, what's the matter, Auntie?" ask Dedi.

"Oh, that cunning woman," he said.

"Sneaky?" The goddess scrunched her forehead.

"Yes, he left me when I was broke. It was the woman who made my relationship and Ranti mess up" she explained.

"Are you and Karin friends?"

"Yes, we were good friends at first. I managed to be a cafe businessman but when the business had to close he left me."

Ranti simply smiled her smile and looked at her ex's sinister.

"So, Aunt wants to marry your son to that woman!"

"Yes, but I have to rethink!" dewi.

"It looks like it should be, Auntie!" said Dedi.

"Thank you for the info" said Dewi.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

Sabrina returned to the city, where she was looking for work. He entered the store as usual.

"Sacred Man!" call one of the employees.

Sabrina stopped her steps and turned towards the employee who called her.

"Mom was called the new store owner" he said.

"Where's Mr Arvan going?"

"He's not here and he's not the owner of this store" he explained.

"What!" inner Sabrina was surprised.

Sabrina stepped into the special room where she worked.

"Good morning, Holy!" greet the new shopkeeper, she's a young lady.

"Good morning too, Mom!"

"My name is Wita, the new shop owner."

"How can you?"

"Sir Arvan has sold it to me" replied Wita.

"sold? The sales at this store were quite satisfactory. How's it possible?"

"I don't know why Mr. Arvan sold it. You can ask him directly," said Wita.

Sabrina just kept quiet and smiled faintly.

"I beg your cooperation, work as you would with Mr. Arvan. Your salary remains the same" explained Wita.

"Good, Mom. Thank you!" Sabrina.

"Darling, when are we getting married?" Karin is struggling spoiled on the shoulder of Arvan who is playing mobile phone.

"Later to talk, are you ready if we don't have anything?" arvan asked Karin gently.

"What do you mean?" ask Karin to ask.

Arvan's phone rang with Sabrina's name.

Karin clucked in annoyance when the woman called Arvan. "He again!" said annoyed.

"I lift up first" said Arvan.

"Yes" answered Karin.

"Hello, Sabrina!" arvan said.

"Hello, Mum. Are you really not the owner of the store in this town?" tanyakanya.

"Yes, I've sold it to cover the debt. We couldn't afford to pay my parents' bank interest and mortgage" Arvan replied.

"Gosh, Mas. I'm sorry, what about the other stores?"

"Only shops in this city and city A are mine" Arvan said.

"Mas, thank you for not being a store owner but still giving me the opportunity to work here. Hopefully one day you can expand this business again" said Sabrina.

"thank you. Oh yeah, later if I get married you should come."

"Yes, Mom!" sabrina then hung up the phone.

Karin who heard the words debt and the store closed began to be confused.

"Arvan, you said we were getting married to Sabrina." Karin.

"Well, don't you want us to get married?"

"But you said that the store there was already sold?" ask Karin.

"Yes, Karin. I have to sell 8 stores" replied Arvan.

"Why?" karin started to panic.

"I have to pay the bank interest and pay my parents' mortgage."

"So, the house occupied by Aunt Dewi and Om Fandi has not been paid off?"

"Not Karin, you want us to get married in a simple way. I can't afford to give you a big dowry" said Arvan with a sad face.

Karin scratched his nape. "Hmm, how is it? You just ask my parents" he said.

"When can I meet them?"

"Oh yes, Arvan. How about you just borrow some money from my dad?"

"I can't, I don't want to be indebted. It was also only two months ago that we paid it off, if we owe it again, fearing that the other two stores would close as well" Arvan tried to give her reasons despite lying.

"Later to talk to Papa and Mama" said Karin hesitated.
