Forgetting the Ex
Chapter 39

Sabrina got on the bed and approached her husband. He put his head on Arvan's shoulder, which was still busy with his cell phone.

"Mas, explain that one this afternoon?" asked Sabrina gently.

"Stand, yeah!" the answer.

Sabrina noticed her husband's busy cell phone replying to messages from his business partner. A few minutes later, he deactivated it.

"Why is his phone turned off?" ask Sabrina.

"For nothing to bother us" he answered, looking at his wife.

"If something is important, how?"

"We're done, I'll activate it." Arvan started stroking his wife's face.

"Mas, explain that one first!" Sabrina put away her husband's fingers.

"About where?"

"My personal driver."

"Oh, that. I deliberately pretended to be a driver to get closer and take care of you" explained Arvan.

"So, you're working with Mr Andi?"

"Yes, the eight stores I told you were selling were also lies."

"What are you doing that for?"

"For I can separate from Karin and approach you" he replied.

"Why are you lying to me?"

"I want to see, you sincerely love me or not. Turns out, my feelings for these three years weren't wrong."

"Have you liked me three years ago?"

"Yes, when I first met. I fell in love at first sight" replied Arvan smiling.

"Aren't you able to get a woman richer and prettier than me?"

"But I can't. You are very different" replied Arvan.

"Why can't it?"

"I also don't know, his name is also love."

"So, you and Missye are brothers?"

"Yes, he's Mom's cousin's nephew."

"Oh, continues Bu Wita?"

"He's my friend who also helps me pretend."

"Mas, you did this to test my heart" Sabrina said.

"You accept me for who I am, without seeing who I am" Arvan began to kiss her forehead, cheeks and lips. His hand moved to unbutton his wife's pajamas.

The Took...

The Took...

"Arm!" call Goddess.

Sabrina immediately brushed off her husband's hand and re-butted her pajamas. "Mother, Mas!"

Arvan clucked in annoyance and got off the bed. He walked over and opened the door. "What's up, Mom?"

"Uncle Pratama comes, you meet him first. Take Sabrina too, they want to see you!" the Goddess then stepped down.

Sabrina approached her husband. "Why, Mas?"

"Uncle and his family came. Come on, let's go see him" Arvan asked.

Sabrina picks up and wears a long-sleeved cardigan covering her pajamas, she follows Arvan down to meet his brother.

Arvan crucified his uncle and aunt's hands as well as his wife's.

"Hi, Sister-in-law!" sheila, 15-year-old girl. He hugged Sabrina's body.

"Sorry, we just came today" said Aunt Tania.

"It's okay" replied Arvan.

"It turns out, my cousin's sister is married" sheila.

Arvan stared intently at her cousin, Sheila just smiled grinningly.

"Arvan, from tomorrow Sheila will stay with us." Said Goddess.

"What?" Arvan surprised.

"Hey, you're ordinary. I can accompany my sister-in-law in this house, if you go out of town" Sheila said.

"Mom, he's just making a fuss here." Arvan joked.

Sabrina nudged her husband's arm with her arm. "Don't do it, Mum!" whispered.

Pratama and Tania smile at Arvan's wife's faint voice. "They used to be like that" said Sheila's mother.

"So calm down. If Brother Arvan offends Sister Sabrina, I and Aunt Dewi will help you repay your pain" Sheila said proudly.

"What do kids know about heartache?" syndicate Arvan.

"Here you go, stop arguing. It's time to sleep" said Fandi, telling his sister and family to rest.

They all disbanded, the couple returned to the room and continued their delayed activities.

"Dear, Miss Sabrina!" hello Meli and Tika smiled.

"You're teasing me or something?" ask Sabrina.

"We have to call Mom, it's Mr. Arvan's wife" Meli replied.

"But I don't like." Sabrina began to protest.

"Later we will be scolded by Mr. Arvan, if we call the name only," Tika chirped.

Sabrina laughed a little. "Ah, it's up to you. But, I'm glad to be called by name."

"By the way, now the big lady has brought her provisions, nih." Meli glanced at the hand of her best friend.

"This is for Mas Arvan, is he there?" ask Sabrina.

"There's." Answer Tika.

Arvan closes his laptop and enjoys lunch with his wife.

"Mas, I'm bored at home. Everyone is doing their thing" Sabrina lamented.

"Sheila's going to exist" said Arvan.

"She's at school, just got home at about 3 p.m." His word.

"You want me to be with you?" ask Arvan.

"You have to work, Mom."

"Why, Mas? The work is also not too heavy," Sabrina said.

"You only serve me" said Arvan.

Sabrina pursed her lips.

"Mas!" whining.

"You can play to your mother's or your father's house" Arvan gave his permission.

"If I stay, what can I do?"

"Byeah, come with me!"arvan said. "You don't eat?" continues asking.

"Not hungry."

"Here let me bribe," Arvan lifted the spoon and pointed it at his wife's mouth. "Open his mouth!" his orders gently.

His wife opened her mouth and chewed it. Just a few mouthfuls, the door of the room was knocked.

"Please enter!" arvan said.

The staff who knocked opened the door. "Miss Karin wants to meet, sir."

"Get him in" Arvan said.

A few seconds later, Karin enters to meet Arvan and Sabrina's sitting position has moved on the guest sofa.

Karin looks at Arvan and Sabrina. "I think this store is also sold apparently not," he said opening a chat.

"You're just here to ask that?" asked Arvan coldly.

"Not really," he answered.

"So, what's the need?"

"We will come" replied Arvan.

Karin turned to look towards Sabrina. "You don't have feelings anymore, do you, Michael?"

"Oh, great. Let me just calmly run the wedding with my husband" Karin said.

"You're just here to drop this off, right?" arvan asked Karin.

"Alright, Arvan. I'll go, don't forget to come!" he said from the door.
