Forgetting the Ex

Forgetting the Ex
Chapter 58

Arvan drove the vehicle quickly, to get to the hospital. As soon as he got word of his wife's accident he canceled a meeting with a client.

Arriving at the hospital, he ran down the hallway of the house. Her parents, Sheila's parents and the driver's family were waiting in front of the Emergency Room.

"Mom, what about Sabrina?" asked Arvan with a panicked face.

"The doctor hasn't come out of his room yet" replied the Goddess.

As the door opened, several nurses pushed the gurney. Arvan and his parents follow the medics who take Sabrina.

His wife will be transferred to the hospital room, because her condition is not too severe. Sabrina had only suffered a few minor injuries to her face and hands.

However, he was still in a sleeping condition.

Arvan was relieved that his wife was fine. His mind was again disturbed because the driver and his cousin's sister were not aware, they had a collision in the head.

Sheila's parents kept crying. Mila and Grandma also came, they were no less worried and panicked. Sabrina's father and his wife also came.

"How's Sabrina doing?" ask Toni

"She had only minor injuries, her fetus didn't matter, now she was asleep. However, Sheila and Sabrina's personal driver were not aware yet" he replied.

Nadia closed her mouth in disbelief, her tears coming back.

He took his cell phone, a little away from the family. Nadia contacted her son who was in town Y.

"Hello, Son!"

"Hello, Ma! Why crying? What's up?" cecar Aldi who heard Nadia's voice like a sob.

"Sheila and Sister Sabrina" he paused. He took his breath slowly.

"Why with them?" Aldi was getting impatient.

"They were both accidents, Sheila until now has not been conscious." Nadia answered explaining.

"What?" Aldi could not believe it, he dropped his body on the chair and wiped his tears that began to drip. "What about Sabrina?" ask again.

"She had only minor injuries" Nadia replied.

"Aldi, will be home now!" said it. He hung up his phone too.

At 10 p.m., Aldi insisted on going to the hospital to see Sheila. He traveled by train from City Y to City B.

"Sister Arvan," he said.

"Aldi?"

"What about Sabrina?"

"He's fine, inside there's Sabrina's mother and yours" replied Arvan.

"What about Sheila?"

Arvan lowered his face. "He's not conscious yet."

He asked Aldi to see Sheila. The girl's body was filled and medical devices were installed.

Arvan leaves her sister-in-law along with Sheila's parents.

Not feeling his tears dripping, he remembered when the girl always sent a message to him even though Aldi rarely replied to him.

Flashbacks....

"Al, are you going to stay here?" sheila asked as she visited Aldi in City Y.

"Yes, if I find the right woman and marry her." Answer Aldi.

"So, you're not going back to City B?"

"Back, but to meet my family."

"You don't want to see me again?"

"Why meet you? The girl is spoiled, urinated and there is no beauty" replied Aldi.

"Hey, you're hurting me. I'll always send you a message" Sheila said.

"What else did you send a message to? I won't reply to him" Aldi said.

"For you to always remember me" said Sheila.

"Oh, yeah. I don't think I'll remember you" joked Aldi.

"Something when you're going to regret, an Aldi Antoni is going to cry for me" Sheila said.

"Hahaha, where are you going?" ask Aldi.

"No idea" Sheila replied innocently.

"Oh, don't talk too much. Finish the meal after that I'll take you to the beach" Aldi said.

"really?"

"Yes, spoiled girl."

- Flash

"Mama!"

"You're not coming home?"

"I want to be here, Ma."

"Son, you haven't had a break from that. Go home, tomorrow morning we come again," said Nadia.

"No, Ma. I'll wait for Sheila to wake up" he said.

"Son, you better go home first. Here there is Arvan and your Papa too" said Pratama, Papa Sheila.

Aldi nodded.

...ΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩΩ...

"Do you know who did it?" ask Arvan.

"No sir, when yesterday's incident he immediately fled" replied one of Arvan's employees.

Arvan sighed and poked at the base of his nose.

"Yes, already. Thank ye. Kabarin as soon as possible if there is information from the authorities" said Arvan.

"Yes, Sir. Excuse me," he said.

Arvan went back into the room. "Mas, how's Sheila doing?"

Arvan shook his head.

"It's all my fault, Mas. Try not to force Sheila to accompany me to the event, of course she will be fine" Sabrina said in tears. When he regained consciousness last night, he also expressed his regret.

"Dear, enough to be self-defeating. This is all fate. Let's pray for the healing of Sheila and Alan" Arvan said.

Sabrina nodded.

Meli, Sabrina's best friend came to visit. He just got word that Sabrina was in an accident at 8 p.m.

"Sabrina," He hugged the body of his best friend. "I'm sorry, just came to visit" he said.

"It's okay."

"What's the condition of Mr. Arvan's driver and cousin?"

"The driver's waking up but Sheila hasn't, yet" she replied sadly.

"Oh, don't be sad. Surely Sheila will be fine" said Meli.

"I feel guilty" Sabrina said.

"If you say so, I feel guilty for you too. I shouldn't have invited you to my sister's wedding reception" Meli said.

"Son, have you had breakfast?" ask Mila who just came.

"Who's mother?"

"Aldi."

"Where is he?"

"Let's see Sheila" she replied.

"Mama, I'm lazy to eat" Sabrina said.

"Don't you, pity the baby in your womb. You have to eat in order to take medicine" Mila lifted a plate of rice and stuffed it into her daughter's mouth.

Arvan entered in a hurry and smiled at his wife.

"What's going on, Mom?"

"Sheila's starting to wake up" she replied.

"Alhamdulillah" said the three in unison.

"I want to meet her" Sabrina said, lowering her feet to the floor.

"No, hon. Just go ahead."

"Why Mas?" ask Sabrina.

"The doctor is again doing the examination" said Arvan.

"Patience, Sabrina. Everything will be fine, wait for Sheila to completely recover." Meli tried to calm her best friend so as not to panic too much.

"Rubber, son, you need to rest a lot. Moreover, the wound on your hand is not dry yet" said Mila.

"Listen baby, I have to go back there to see Sheila's condition. Mother, Meli, please take care of her," said Arvan immediately running out.

Meli and Mila agreed with a smile.

Meanwhile Aldi who was waiting for the recovery Sheila smiled happily.

Although he could not speak, but the response from his gaze made his parents Sheila cry. The girl looked from where she had to be a patient, water droplets brimming in her eyes.

Aldi waved and smiled, from behind the window glass. He immediately wiped away the rest of his tears, he was afraid that Sheila would mock him.
